My name is Mike McGarry. I am a high school math teacher: I live in Berkeley and work in San Francisco. I have done 30+ years of meditation and I run a mediation center in Berkeley, where I lead a weekly sangha. I adore classical music and I have been a life-long New York Mets fan. I am simply fascinated with Wikipedia, and am drawn into new and interesting articles on almost a daily basis. Perhaps because I have always been a teacher, I often feel the need to correct any misinformation and/or to supply missing information, so when I do find an obvious mistake or gap, I edit the article. A closet grammar-nazi, I frequently make grammatical corrections in articles I read.
