Some adjustments still to do depending on if this gets support, no point otherwise.
The third column (seen used for interchange in the example below and empty in others) I have kept separate for now from the first two because it leaves the option to use if for other information e.g. 2009 Philadelphia Wings season#Roster.
- I haven't mocked up club season squad but you get an idea from the three other examples. Super League squads could be able to list by their assigned squad numbers and NRL squads could just list the names alphabetically - whatever is decided as the standard by WP:RL.
- A single club match squad in three columns. Nationality flags can be included (column 1) or not (columns 2 and 3). This might be a possible format for those templates made of competition winning teams e.g. {{Leeds Rhinos squad - 2009 Super League champions}}. It's not intended as a replacement for the team sheets we are currently using on e.g. 2009 Super League Grand Final.
