Richard Reid is an American born TV and radio presenter primarily heard in Australia.

He is best known for having been the resident "Gossip Guru" on Channel Nine's TODAY Show.[1]

TV Career

Richard’s began his on-air career at Seattle’s 24-Hour news channel NWCN with his daily entertainment segment, 'Richard’s Reels.’ The success of the this segments led to the creation of the weekly half-hour series ‘Northwest Flix and Pix with Richard Reid.’  His interviews included Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock and Tom Cruise and he was nominated for an Emmy.[2]

In 2004 Richard moved to Hollywood working for

The Insider and the E! Networks series ‘Celebrities Uncensored.' While working on the Paramount Pictures lot, Richard began doing the occasional gossip cross for Channel Nine’s TODAY in Australia. [3]

In 2008 Richard joined reality series Domestic Blitz.[4]

In 2015 having departed TODAY, Richard joined the fourth season of

Celebrity Apprentice Australia
making it into the Final Four He won $15,000 for his chosen charity, Foodbank Australia.

Currently Richard is a contributing corespondent for Studio 10.

Radio Career

Richard is a regular on many radio stations around the world.[1]

He was a daily contributor to

Southern Cross Austereo Network
. He was soon heard daily in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney. 

By 2011, Richard was heard Internationally on three continents, including Johannesburg’s 94.7 Breakfast Express and with Kuala Lumpur’s #1 morning radio team, JJ & Ian on HITZ FM.
