My real name is Michael and I'm an

Afrikaner by descent (although I don't really identify with Afrikaans culture) who lives in Durban, South Africa

In case you're wondering about my username, it is a humorous Afrikaans corruption of 'Michael' which was my nickname when I was 13 or so.

By the way... my editing has become very intermittent of late. It might take quite a while for me to reply to, or even get, messages. If you need to contact me, it's best to do so via email.
