Acorn (Cambridge) Ltd. is a British computer company established in Cambridge, England, in 2011 under the Acorn brand. The company is developing a range of computers based around ARM Core processor designs initially for the UK market.

Revival of the Acorn trademark

In early 2006, the dormant Acorn trademark was licensed from the French company, Aristide & Co Antiquaire De Marques, by a new company based in Nottingham.^[1] This company was dissolved in late 2009.

In late 2011, the Acorn Trademark was transferred from the French company, Aristide & Co Antiquaire De Marques, to French company, Data Access.^{[citation needed]}

In late 2011, the dormant Acorn trademark was licensed from the French company, Data Access, by a new company based in Cambridge.^{[citation needed]}
