Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Who, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 17:53, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"The Who" is the name of the band. This is a proper noun. Proper nouns, even in the middle of a sentence, are capitalized. 2600:8800:4181:DD00:B068:B30C:D700:CE7A (talk) 17:55, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This has nothing to do with style. It's about grammar and spelling. There are rules for sentence composition. Just because something exists in mass quantity does not make it correct. 2600:8800:4181:DD00:B068:B30C:D700:CE7A (talk) 18:05, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That may be, but here on Wikipedia the
WP:MOS are the rules to be followed with regard to things like that. Those rules are based on community consensus and edits that go directly against those rules will always be reverted, whether by me or some other editor. So, I would suggest you save yourself some time/headache if you can't follow those guidelines. Felida97 (talk) 18:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply
