"Bersin Edit" response from my talk page
Hey there, the edit you made on
Response
Thank you for your response, and willingness to talk through the edits. If I’m understanding your message correctly, you had two concerns with the edits I made. 1. Quotation of other sources. I looked at the policy you referenced, and it does not prohibit quotations of other sources. Rather, it states – consistent with copyright law – that fair use is permissible. I believe all of the quotations fit squarely in the following: “unless it's a brief quotation used in accordance with Wikipedia's non-free content policy and guideline”. Even if the quotations don’t fit that policy, I would recommend that particular quotations be removed, not that the whole edit be rejected. 2. “Formatting”. I went to tutorial you sent, and looked at the style guides that were referenced. I did not see rule or policy that my proposed edits violated. Can you be more specific? The current page on Alan Bersin is both incomplete and contains material inaccuracies. My proposed revisions were all accurate and fully supported by extensive source material. If the goal of Wikipedia is to be accurate, than I respectfully request that my edits be allowed.
Prior Response Has Not Been Answered
Hello, my prior response has not been answered. I've reviewed the materials you referenced, and I do not see how my proposed edits violate any Wikipedia policies. The current webpage is incomplete and inaccurate. My proposed edits were all accurate and amply supported with footnotes - 76 footnotes to be exact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.29.208.134 (talk) 15:04, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
