The person doing the blanking is the original submitter. Based on previous conversation, yesterday was when the Ontario Tories were to decide whether to nominate her or another candidate for a provincial parliament seat, and I assume from the blanking that she didn't get it (can't find verification myself). Best to leave the article blank and let it get G7-speedied, methinks, since it fails notability if she didn't get the nod. --Finngall talk 18:07, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

I did not create a test page. I created a page because when I clicked on a link that's where it went.
I posted on the talk page for WORD (AM) what I needed done. So far all I see there is pink. What is pink has not solved the problem.

I don't know what I'm doing when I try to edit talk pages. This site is very confusing. If I removed anything, I'm sorry. I still find this site very confusing. There was a Help section but I need a Help section for the Help section. I thought it would just be easier to go to the person who informed me that I did what appeared to be improper. Now I'll try your idea with the other problem.Vchimpanzee 22:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Responding to your question about the WORD template, there should be a lot more stations. I'll bring that up on a site I go to where people talk about station histories and about what needs to go on Wikipedia.Vchimpanzee 13:59, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

- Hi, Erick, It was not a tremendous typo after all it was all the same, right. The way you stated your question, for some reason made me see it otherwise instantaneously. Well, I corrected it all back to where is supposed to appear, i.e., to Augusto, and also I change the names in the content, I did not reverted, I edited, therefore your contributions will appear as they were: made with/in good faith. First, thank you for your efforts, your map was accepted in consensus as we should conduct our business in here, for such I congratulated you. There are some changes that we have to agree upon:
- The now official regional and clickable hopefully sizable map, needs to be finished in his final form so we can finally use it officially.
- We need to move own with the departments (no rush)
- We need to invite new and more people either to join or Participate, or both, in the Wikiproject Peru
- We need to create an outreach Newsletter, hope we all can work together in this
- We need to improve the Peruvian archaeological pages

I would like your input as a strong collaborator and an asset for this short and middle-term objectives in Wikipedia.
- Lastly, I have posted this question and I would like not to post this anymore: This simple question is: Being from the Netherlands, a country once rule under the Spanish empire, why are you so interested in Peru and not in Chile for example? A general answer without getting into specifics will suffice for me and will show your transparency. I don't see (personally or objectively) why in a blue moon you can't or don't want to answer this, but there is always a cause for every behavior, according to Skinner. I will put my eye to the point. So please enlighten me, I am expecting that you would do so. Wouldn't you?

About Peru Project tables
Hi, I just wanted to know if you would like the WP:PERU look like Wikipedia:WikiProject Iceland (but in pink-red), I'm asking you this since I saw many of your design edits were inspired from there. And to let you know I created Wikipedia:WikiProject Peru/box-header for making box editing easier. see you around--Andersmusician $ 05:48, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Table
This as in the WikiProject Scotland is done manually, there is a bot EditCounter, it is helpful but, not for this job. Therefore: We need to see the contributions. To measure their activity: for instance and by simple inspection:
- 1st Check the user talk page activity by accessing the page and see if this page has any summaries dated, in the last three months
- 2nd Count those activities and collect that information, it is a number lets say == "a"
- 3nd Check the user contributions you can find one them one his edit and the go to his contributions summaries and check in for the last three months home many summaries the user has, collect the information, basically a number. Let say == "z"
- 4th See how many, if any, belong to the WikiProject Peru or any related discussion, like the maps force task, now you have another number == b then rest these from the total number of contributions "z" such as . You now have three numbers now, a, b anc c.
- 5h Input these numbers to the parameters as explained at the Wikiproject Peru page to the template, then you are the judge to determine inactivity, which is the fourth parameter of any vector A or strike A. How often? How recent? that kind of questions. I was doing a table of criteria but I have to do something in real life now.

Undue weight
Hi Eric,
I'm wondering why you are removing so many Larco Museum links due to UNDUE WEIGHT? After reading the description, I think the fact that certain pieces belong to a museum collection is completely acceptable. If people want more information on the piece, they would look to the collection it belongs to. Please expand your reasoning. Thanks. Lyndsayruell 22:44, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- It seems you placed images to promote the Larco Museum by placing them on a lot of animal articles. The articles on animals don't necesarilly benefit from all those pictures and certainly not from the link to the museum. --AgainErick 22:49, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Infobox Archaeological Site Peru
Dear AgainErick. I would like to request a change on the Inforbox Archaeological Site Peru. Instead of "civilization" I would much prefer to see the term "culture" or "society. Abandoning "civilization" omits the use of an anthropologically loaded term that implies a level of cultural complexity that many theoreticians argue did not develop in the New World until Moche. By using "culture" instead of "civilization" the infobox will be applicable across the board. I am not sure how to change the infobox, and when I change the term in specific pages the preview does not seem to reflect my intended edits. I would appreciate your help on this because I would like to apply the infobox to some additional site entires. Thanks--NathanCraig 03:48, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Request to change 'Civilization' on Infobox Archaeology Site Peru
Hi Eric, I noticed you added an infobox to the Chankillo entry. I think that's cool, but take issue with the use of the word 'Civilization' in the box. The Wikipedia entry that it links to on civilization states: "specifically, a civilization is usually understood to be a complex society characterized by the practice of agriculture and settlement in cities." Well, this is not applicable to all societies in human history, an in this particular case is not applicable to Chankillo. Whether you agree or not with the use of the term (I do not - but that is another matter), for a general infobox to be applied to all archaeological sites in Peru I suggest a more inclusive terms such as "Culture". That is generally more accepted, and less of a 'loaded term'. I can't figure out how to change that term in the box. Normal edits don't work. Could you make this change? It would make things easier, since you are the one who appears to have created the infobox.
Thanks, Mybvega 03:52, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- Done. --AgainErick 11:32, 17 October 2007 (UTC). Many thanks for your response, this is what makes wiki better. Caption changed to Culture.
Rem Koolhaas
Hi AgainErick, I would like to know the pronunciation of the name of the dutch architect
- Hi Guillermo, always happy to help you in this matter, I'm not an expert in the IPA alphabet, but to my best knowledge the following is an acceptable notation. Remember that if you come accross a table showing IPA notation for dutch vowels do not use the standard for the oo in koolhaas. Especially in the western part of the Netherlands (where Koolhaas is born) in this case the oo (and other sounds for that matter) is pronounced differently and resembles much more an english-style IPA: [ɔː] pronunciation.
- IPA: ['rɛm 'kɔːlhas]. Also note that the IPA: [a] is not the same as the IPA: [ɑ] used in english, the IPA: [a] is different and much longer, different enough and a bit too short to qualify for IPA: [ɑː], which is the long english vowel. Real purists may argue that in the combination of the two dutch words kool and haas the latter h influences the preceding 'l' and thus a different IPA-notation is needed. I'm assuming the real problem in pronouncing Koolhaas are the oo and aa. I would love to add a sound recording if you'd like, but untill now I'm only using ogg-codecs to play sounds. I've never tried any recording in any format whatsoever. --AgainErick 20:47, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your very illustrative explanation. The common misconception here is to pronounce the oo as in English cool or to omit the h as it is silent in Spanish. The closest pronunciation I have heard is: IPA: Awkawasi03:20, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Please explain removal of my addition
Hello Eric,
You edited the Caylloma Province article, removing my addition of a link I found to the official website of the Huambo village. Since there is no article for the village itself, and I don't have enough information to warrant adding one, I thought this was a reasonable page to add that link to. In the comment of your editing, you do not explain (at least I could not understand) why you removed the link. Please explain.
Thanks,

Huaraz
Hi, I am the person who added the information in the Huaraz Province article. If you take a look at it, ypu'll see it's not refering to the city itself, but to the city and the sorroundings (near towns). All of them, of course, composed the Huaraz Province. Please do not erase any information about it. Thanks. --Evelyn Zuñiga 23:28, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
I think you are completely wrong. All the Departments or Regions of Peru have a province that is the mos important of it, that's why it's called the capital of the Region. I think you'll have a better idea of it if you actually live there. Furthermore, there's no need of using CAPITAL LETTERS to give your point of view, nobody is fighting or anything and it's considered very rude to use them. Thanks. --Evelyn Zuñiga 16:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evelyn Z (talk • contribs)
- A Capital is a City, not a province, maybe Huaraz province is the province in which the capital of the region is located (ubigeo code ending in 01), but that does not make the province a capital. Every country has capital cities, never mind where you live or live not, living in Peru or not doesn't alter that fact. --AgainErick (talk) 20:19, 9 January 2008 (UTC).
