I created a page entitled 'Summers v. tice' and failed to capitalize the 't' in the title. I can't find anything in your help section to fix this.

Please advise.

Thanks.

When viewing the page, at the top there is a "move" option. If you click this you will be prompted to enter a new title for the article. More info. is at

{helpme}

I created a page. How do I create links under different name spellings to that page? For example, if you type "martin luther king", you'll get the same result as under "Dr. Martin Luther King".

You can use a syntax like [[Martin Luther King, Sr.|The older Martin Luther King]], which turns out like
The older Martin Luther King
. The first part is the name of the article, and the second part is the text that will be displayed.
There are some examples at
helpme}} again if you get stuck :-)--Commander Keane 01:13, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply

Image tagging for Image:Clara Ward.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Clara Ward.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs "Controversy" section

You recently added a controversy section to

non-neutral point-of-view. If you have sources to back up the claims, please cite them. Cheers. QmunkE 15:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply

I just wanted to say that you are doing good work updating this section. It looks like you are doing great with it and I wanted to let you know it is appreciated when someone jumps in to fix something like this rather than try to argue about it. I have seen my share of that. Slavlin 18:25, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
BTW- It might be better to copy the page to a personal sandbox - like this.

User:Agriffinny\sandbox and work on it there till you are done. That way the people seeing it on the watchlist don't see 40 edits while you update it. Slavlin 18:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dado Moroni, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://inter-jazz.com/web/artists/dado-moroni.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Copyright problem: Dado Moroni

Hello, and

welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Dado Moroni, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://inter-jazz.com/web/artists/dado-moroni, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked
from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow

Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines
.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Dado Moroni saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! VernoWhitney (talk) 21:47, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

While not a word-for-word copy, the article is a still a problem and needs to be rewritten further (preferably from scratch) in order to avoid infringing copyright. While facts are not copyrightable, creative elements of presentation - including both structure and language - are. The less creative the expression, the looser copyright applies, but even so close paraphrasing becomes a great concern when there are long passages that include fragments of the original and the structure of the original is retained. The essay Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing contains some suggestions for rewriting that may help avoid these issues. The article Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2009-04-13/Dispatches, while about plagiarism rather than copyright concerns, also contains some suggestions for reusing material from sources that may be helpful, beginning under "Avoiding plagiarism". Edit Warring Complaint

I've removed your complaint at the edit warring noticeboard [1]. Off2RioRob only has one edit on that article today, same as you do. One edit is not warring, especially when there's an ongoing discussion at the

Disambiguation link notification for January 27

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lawrence Grant, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shanghai Express (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read

the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard

to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on

section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://musicians.allaboutjazz.com/jaleelshaw. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing
.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
