File permission problem with File:Ajay Devgn1.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Ajay Devgn1.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chzz ► 13:41, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Google does NOT provide free use permission with their image search
Please note that "We know that, on google image search, there is a right to use any image that is published on google.that's why anyone can use these images anywhere." is completely incorrect. Please do not proceed using that faulty premise. Active Banana (talk) 16:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- No problem about the copyright; I'm glad you understand.
- I'd love to help make it as good as the article on Mr. Chan, but you have to accept that there is a lot more coverage of that person in reliable sources than there is for Mr. Devgn. Also, there are 6,832,041 articles, all of which need improvement!
- The best way forwards is, if you can find any information in newspaper articles - that is, independent reliable sources- and add those to it.
How references work |
---|
Simple referencesThese require two parts;
Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref> He likes tea. <ref> [http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com Tea website] </ref>
== References == {{reflist}} (an existing article is likely to already have one of these sections) To see the result of that, please look at user:chzz/demo/simpleref. Edit it, and check the code; perhaps make a test page of your own, such as user:Ajaysandy/reftest and try it out. Named referencesChzz was born in 1837, <ref name="MyBook"> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref> in Footown.<ref name="MyBook"/> Note that the second usage has a / (and no closing ref tag). This needs a reference section as above; please see user:chzz/demo/namedref to see the result. Citation templatesYou can put anything you like between <ref> and </ref>, but using citation templates makes for a neat, consistent look; Chzz has 37 Olympic medals. <ref> {{Citation | last = Smith | first = John | title = Olympic medal winners of the 20th century | publication-date = 2001 | publisher = [[Cambridge University Press]] | page = 125 | isbn = 0-521-37169-4 }} </ref> Please see user:chzz/demo/citeref to see the result. For more help and tips on that subject, see user:chzz/help/refs. |
- You could also put in a request for feedback.
- Best of all, edit some other articles, and you will soon learn much more about how Wikipedia works, and be in a better position to help improve this one.
- I will add this to my 'things to do' list, and try and improve it when I have free time; it is likely to be some time before I can work on it - perhaps a week or more, but I will try to look.

This is something which is easy for you to do:
- When you are looking at your User:Ajaysandy/development page, click the "View history" button at the top of the page. This will show you a page called "Revision history of User:Ajaysandy/development", which is a list of all the versions of the article. It includes date, time, size, and which editor made the change.
- To see the differences between any two particular versions, click two radio buttons on the left, then click the button labelled "Compare selected versions". This will show you a "diff" (list of differences). You can "revert" to old versions. This is commonly done to repair vandalism.
