Risk, per your comment on the Talk page

As far as I have been able to determine, Risk has no steady, solid contributors that have really made it their own unlike many other pages. There are several like myself who keep down vandalism and spam, but it isn't the same. I don't really know how a "peer review" works, but I can tell you what is wrong with the article right now.

1. The rules are poorly summarized. The gist of the game gets lost in unnecessary details.
2. There are too many "Computer implementations" linked. In my opinion this should be limited to just the Hasbro implementation rather than including the dozens of others, but concensus is against me.
3. There is too much trivia.
4. There isn't actually an overview of the game.

In conclusion, I'd be very willing to help in the rewriting and improvement of the article. I'd be willing to assist with a peer review. Unfortunately, at the moment I don't really have the time to do more than an hour here or there. Hope my comments were helpful. I don't think we need to write before a peer review as there is a lot of bulk there from previous contributions. It isn't as if the article is a stub. However, I'm disappointed to see that none of the other contributors have responded on the talk page. They certainly show up when any of their precious external links are removed. I've more-or-less finished my edits to Risk. In my opinion the rules summary is much improved, though no doubt this can still be tweaked. There is an actual overview, though it is still short and somewhat boring. I didn't touch the trivia or computer implementations. The waiting time over at Admin coaching is long (some people have been waiting in line since July). I'm an admin coach with the project, and for my students I set up a group discussion page so that we could all learn from each other. The scope of this concept has expanded into the

Virtual classroom

, which is an open forum for the teaching and learning of advanced Wikipedia skills.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate, as a student, as a coach, or both. Every week or two a new major topic of discussion or classroom assignment is introduced, usually with a guest writer who presents his or her expertise on the current subject and who remains on hand to answer questions. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussions, such as sharing your expertise, asking and answering questions, etc.

The current topic of discussion is vandalism, and our guest writer is Budgiekiller.

All discussions are open-ended, so all previous discussion topics and classroom assignments are still there for viewing and further participation. There are also sections for posting miscellaneous topics and questions, requesting coaching assistance, etc.

In addition to inviting those who would like to learn, I routinely invite experts from all over Wikipedia to come and contribute for the benefit of all. The VC is rapidly turning into a clearing house of the best resources, methods, and techniques known for working on Wikipedia.

NEWSLETTER

Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.

Help out now!

• Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
• Give people the Civility Barnstar.
• Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
• Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
• Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.

We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.

Decision Making

The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.

Reasons for Quitting

This is the "Wikipedia" reason I'm quitting. These fair use laws (even though I don't live in Florida), these complaints, these WP:____ which I haven't even heard about, these facts they've reverted even though they know it's true but it's unsourced even though there isn't any source of it yet on the internet). My immediate "BOO"s on my self-RfA really helped my stress now.

Now the real world. You see, the person behind Simply MP had been invading my privacy making fun of my userpage, and that was a little takedown. My mother has anger issues, my sister is a demon, my school has cruel teachers and even crueler bullies, etc. etc. etc.

Good friends, I say goodbye. I might still come back to chat, or edit my fav pages, but the number-two (can't forget Jimbo ;) ) user is not gonna do anything spectacular anymore.

AndonicO, I appreciate your friendliness compared to others, and I hereby give you first place... you were only about 100 points behind me. Thus, I'll always remember you in my top 6. ;)
