Edit summaries

Hi, please attempt to make your edit summaries descriptive of your actual changes. "c/e" (copyedit) means that you modified grammar/format/layout without any change in meaning. This does not describe numerous edits where you added paragraphs or significantly modified the article in other ways. Thanks. Elizium23 (talk) 01:54, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I will no longer be lazy with summaries! AndreasMar (talk) 01:56, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Chi Alpha—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 21:56, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The most major edit I did was remove the list of chapters. So, I consider that a genuine mistake on both of our parts considering everything else was reliably sourced. - AndreasMar (talk) 21:58, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Better image of J. Delano Ellis for their Wikipedia article.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Better image of J. Delano Ellis for their Wikipedia article.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to
    Di-replaceable fair use disputed
    |<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 18:58, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar!

The Cleanup Barnstar
For your excellent work in a fairly obscure quarter of the project, particularly your overhaul of the George Alexander McGuire article! ~ Pbritti (talk) 17:56, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Veverve. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Liberal Catholic Church, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 02:52, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They were reliable sources, and primary sources can be reliable themselves. I did remove YouTube sources though. AndreasMar (talk) 16:05, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, they were not reliable. Veverve (talk) 16:25, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Aren't you known for removing content you do not like? I do not wish to get inappropriate either but what about your block log too for things like this? AndreasMar (talk) 23:07, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You also by my observation edit non-Roman Catholic pages in a negative light (like interest conflict). AndreasMar (talk) 23:10, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your two messages are unacceptable. known for removing content you do not like and You [...] edit non-Roman Catholic pages in a negative light is a ridiculous accusation and a violation of the
good faith policy. Feel free to request an admin intervention against me if you feel I violate WP's policies. Veverve (talk) 06:35, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply

By the way, I have opened a discussion at

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Liberal Catholic Church, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 16:12, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Veverve. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:AndreasMar that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 06:53, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. -Lemonaka‎ 13:34, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In my personal defense I used the content removal that they didn't like statement off their block log which stated, "Regular massive deletions of content the editor feels are irrelevant over many articles" so forgive me in being seen as assuming bad faith. Their responses have offended me personally, so off their responses and taking things at the documented value, I have my presuppositions. Forgive me if i am ignorant please. I just do not like patterns after I have done some reading. If I respond late to any of this give me some time because I am about to get on the road.
