Chronologically, Brahmana, Mahabharata and Matsya Purana are written in this order. So we should mention it that way IMO. --Redtigerxyz Talk 06:26, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

- Why do you think my edits are wrong? Is the previous editor's statements the word of GOD or something? Take a look at what I put in and the assisting refs. I restored some material that was well-substantiated and added more ref(s) just in case. The editor does not seem to know that 1 lakh crore = 1 trillion (Lakh has five zeroes and Crore has seven). There is no place called "Travancore". There is a town called Thiruvananthapuram. We use "in XYZ" where XYZ is a place. Not "at XYZ". That Angkor Wat is the largest structure known to be built in recorded history is mentioned by LiveScience which is a well-known publication. May I know what this one editor popping out of nowhere is allowed to make SO MANY edits in two days and unchallenged? And I who have been editing here for eight years am reverted. I do not have the time now but there is other material too that has been unwarranted-ly removed. Please do not revert like that. Anup Ramakrishnan (talk) 05:19, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Don't get offended -- Wikipedians undo others' edits all the time. You need to discuss your changes on the talk page per WP:BRD, as multiple editors have opposed your changes. The problem is that your addition reads like an advertisement. There are separate articles on Angkor Wat and Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Bragging about these temples doesn't belong in the article Vishnu. Also, news articles aren't exactly great sources for such claims -- peer-reviewed academic works are preferred. Like I said, if you disagree, please discuss your changes at Talk:Vishnu rather than simply re-adding them without discussion. utcursch | talk 05:26, 8 October 2016 (UTC)]

- Ms Sarah Welch doesn't pop-up out of nowhere; she's an established editor with a very good grip on India-related topics and sources. And part of the fun of Wikipedia is that anyone can edit, as long as they make decent edits. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 05:31, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
