Schumm

Published by MDPI which is not a reliable source. And I can't see that Walter Schumm can be an expert on something so far out of his field, in which he seems to be fringe. Doug Weller talk 10:38, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So this is about the Publisher and the Author? Well nevermind him then, I will just stick to citing David King then. Would you help me with the article? The Article as it is edited by Grayfell is factically incorrect but he won't let me change it. Apparently he didn't read the sources but just removes any argument in favour of Gibson since it would be promoting fringe Theories, even if it comes from King. This is hardly neutral... July 2025

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dan Gibson (author). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Grayfell (talk) 19:11, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Grayfell I see my last 2 edits have already been reverted.
You are edit warring all changes in the first senctence.
You refuse to find a consensus on the talk page.
You accuse me of pro-Fringe editing on a biographic page about the author of said fringe theory, which according to
WP:FRINGE is a place where this fringe theory can be given space. It does not disturb the mainstream view in Qibla
.
You accuse me of misrepresenting sources even though I use quotes to show the point.
I refuse the accusation of "changeging the content back" since I try to respect the criticism and have changed formulation and content which apparently you didn't even read and blindly reverted.
I will seek out dispute resolution by an outside party. Thank you for posting the links to those pages. Azrl26 (talk) 19:23, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
