In an amazing example of boredom and randomly browsing Wikipedia, I leafed through the history pages of this song's article. I have restored it from the disamb page that it had been, and actually think there's a decent start to an article on this song.

You are, of course, free to disagree... and the page may be redirected again if need be. I just wanted to let you know about it, so that you can check it out if you feel like it. I really didn't contribute anything other than the synthesis of several versions of the article that never got together because ClueBot and others reverted some really good edits.

I really appreciate the fact that rather than deleting the page, you redirected it... allowing someone like me to come by later on and restore the page based on its prior history. (I understand why we would want to delete attack pages and their histories, likewise patent nonsense and most other WP:SPEEDY junk... I just wish we could, as a community, allow good-but-nonnotable or good-but-will-never-be-more-than-a-stub pages to be deleted without history being hidden from view as well.) Hello, Paine. There is definitely confusion around surnames, even no real consensus on whether they are articles or disambiguation pages. My reading of the above is using family name and surname to mean the same thing, but emphasising that if it is a disambiguation page that includes a list of people by surname, e.g. Bronte, then it should be categorised first as a disambiguation page, with surname as the second category. I think this is because surnames are (mostly) seen as articles, which should really have some information on the surname's history and a reference or two, e.g. Anders. I agree that what you've copied above could be construed differently though. In English surname and family name are synonymous, but not for many other countries and languages. There is no Wikiproject for surname pages, no real guidelines and no editors I know of who have made surname pages their speciality. I've thought about looking into creating a Wikiproject before, but I thought it might be stirring a potential hornet's nest. It might be worth thinking about again though. Hi, I saw you removed my addition of the David Cameron link on the Mary Cameron disambiguation page. Before I created the disambiguation page early this week, an entry of Mary Cameron redirected you immediately to the David Cameron page. I obviously wanted to change that and created the disambiguation page. I added the David Cameron link to the page to get a little closer to what the other individual was intending. Regarding Samuel Hawkes (disambiguation) your cited guideline does not reflect disambiguation pages for people, but for primary topics, where the other items would be subsets of that topic. In this case, The other Samuel Hawkes are not subsets of discussions of the first Samuel Hawkes. That's my interpretation anyway.

There are many disambiguation pages that just enumerate the list of occurrences of the name. See Robert Jones, and George Abbey (disambiguation). I know that there are other examples where people have created disambig pages like your edits, but it always seem strange to me - they are all "Samuel Hawkes" or "Robert Jones", etc.

Regression Therapy article for possible deletion

I’m sorry but its to time consuming to understand the rules of what can be included and handle alterations by others lacking the knowledge and experience to make a meaningful entry. I am one of the worlds authorities on regression therapy having worked in this area for 25 years and trained over 500 regression therapists and personally know many of the medical doctors using regression therapy and the research being conducted. What I need is someone perhaps yourself that can adapt the raw information I can provide in a way suitable for Wikipedia.

Dear Boleyn. Thank you very much for having created the article James FitzGerald, 13th Earl of Desmond on 16 August 2011. At that date you started the article by writing a relatively longish text. Some aspects are quite detailed for example those concerning the FitzGerald castle at Lough Gur. Unluckily you did not add references at that time. Of course it would certainly be best if you could add these citations yourself, but you might not have the time. If that is so, could you please point me into the right direction?
