Nice job on this page. Just a quick note. There are several books you can find in a search of Google Books that have information on Titus Pankey. You may want to use these to cite his work instead of using the original so there are more secondary sources. Just a thought. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:23, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to see your work with APS bios!

Welcome to editing Wikipedia (a little late).

I have made it my goal to finish writing bios for all the

Draft:John Anthony Schellman. Your contributions so far are very strong, and if you want to bypass the Articles for Creation process/delay, you can create a draft by searching "Draft:___" with the name of the next Fellow on your list. The search engine gives you a redlinked draft, and asks if you want to create the draft. It also identifies any links to articles by that name who may not be physicists, who will need to be disambiguated. I use the format on User:Grand'mere Eugene/sandbox2
to start each draft, which you are free to borrow. Just remove the nowiki and /nowiki tags from the source code and add whatever text is needed for those items before you publish.

I'd be happy to review your submissions if you prefer going through AfC. Just ping me when you submit. Cheers! — Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 17:11, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for the message! Glad to connect over our overlapping work :) I will definitely reach out about future articles! And thanks for the tip; I usually go through the AfC process just for the additional pair(s) of eyes but will keep this in mind as I continue working on different pages. Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted because it included copyrighted content, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. You are welcome to write an article on the subject, but please do not use copyrighted work. CNMall41 (talk) 09:16, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a promising article and the subject is notable. The issue I found was that it is too closely worded to this. Instead of requesting it be speedily deleted, I simply removed the wording so that the history of it is still there. You can retrieve and work on it so that it would no longer be considered a copyright violation. And, once you finish feel free to ping me and I will come back and move it to the mainspace. --CNMall41 (talk) 09:18, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I made the requested adjustments on the Amzel draft...let me know if they look OK and if not I can go back and adjust! Thanks CamrynBell (talk) 15:17, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
CNMall41, I didn't see there was a copyright violation; maybe there was some not good paraphrasing. If you see a copyvio, please alert someone: we can NOT have copyright violations in the history either. Camryn Bell, I'm looking at phrases like "which he had previously been leading on an interim basis for the previous three years"--that was not a very good paraphrase, and it is tortured English. I'm going to send it on to article space but it needs cleanup. Drmies (talk) 22:31, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies:, thanks. I am not sure we could have considered it a copyvio per se but removed it anyway as it was too close to the line if that makes sense. Thanks for looking at it. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:48, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Benjamin Peery Bio Updates

Hello,

I am a friend of Yvany Peery, Benjamin Peery's daughter. She would like to make some updates to her dad's bio, including a new photograph, the addition of her name (Yvany Peery) and her profession (a psychotherapist), and linkage to Benjamin's brother, Nelson, found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_Peery.

I am messaging you as you are the creator of the original bio, and I believe the topic for Benjamin Peery is locked as I could not update the entry as far as I could tell.

Thanks, Tanya Elder Elderta (talk) 14:52, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thank you for sharing this information - I have included the details you provided onto Dr. Peery's page in the "Personal life" and "Early life and military" sections (and included a link to his page from Nelson Peery's as well). His page should be open, though, if you are interested in adding any other edits.
And the easiest way to add and upload new photos is directly (so the image holder can assign their own copyright), but I'm happy to help if you have any trouble. Please let me know! CamrynBell (talk) 01:08, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
