School name DAB

Glad you picked up on my lead after I undid your move on Wakeland High School. Not sure how much you've done with school articles, but NCES is where you can verify the uniqueness of a school name. It is also probably the best source for attendance and demographics. Glad to see your interest in school articles. Keep up the good work, and if you haven't already, please consider joining

Wikiproject Schools
. Thanks for your hard work.

Notability for schools

As you learned from the nomination of your article on Reedy High School, high schools are considered virtually automatically notable. However, the same does not apply to middle and elementary schools. Actually, nearly the opposite is true. In almost all cases, middle and elementary schools will be redirected to the school district's article. The exception would be if they were notable for something other than just being a school. An example would be is if the building housing the school were on the

NRHP. I wanted to let you know before you wasted much time on the drafts you have linked on your userpage. Thanks, and keep up the good work. As always, if I can be of assistance, just drop me a note. John from Idegon (talk) 01:30, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply

A tag has been placed on

section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion
, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
