If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to

punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule
, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to

Ford India Private Limited does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries
are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a

Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing
→ check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Tayi Arajakate Talk 07:01, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an

Ford India Private Limited; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus
, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Prolix 💬 14:39, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 11:21, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you purposefully and blatantly harass fellow Wikipedian(s) again, as you did at User:Tbhotch, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. After your block expired, it appears you waited about 4 days and then blanked the userpages of editors who have warned you about Wikipedia policies against vandalism in the past, including User:Prolix and of course User:Falcon Kirtaran. This creates additional work for others and might result in your account being banned for persistent vandalism. I assume your apology was sincere; know that vandalism in user pages is treated the same as vandalism in articles. FalconK (talk) 09:11, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
