You deleted an article I was writing about Pádraig Ó Caoimh and put a link to an article about a different man. They are two different people with the same name. How do I get the text back? I am, the guy who's 20 years older was born in Cork and moved to Dublin, he fought in the Rising and was a politician for the 'Tan War'.

The younger man was born in Roscommon but moved to Cork, he fought in the 'Tan War' and was imprisoned whilst the first fella was winning a seat in the 1921 election. I think the name has mixed up a lot of people though because with a stadium named after him (the younger guy) he should have had a page before. Thanks, Dunmanus.

Quite a popular name. We also have Padraig O'Keeffe (Irish: Pádraig Ó Caoimh) (1887 – 1963) a musician.

Hey. And thanks for your contributions to the Collins Barracks article. As you may have noted from the page history and edit summaries, I made an attempt to improve some of your additions, but - ultimately - was forced to revert to the older version.

Firstly, on the Kent additions, most of this appears to have been copied and pasted from the Kent article, with little additional context added (the paragraph even opened with the word "Kent", with no explanation as to who this was). So that I can assist in understanding whether or how to include it in the Barracks article, can you help me understand why you think it's relevant/important to the Barracks subject? Is it to explain the naming of the married quarters? Or some other connection? Whatever the intent, I'm sure we can find a way of covering it in a more structured way.

Secondly, on the War of Independence executions, can you confirm the source for the O'Brien and Casey executions? Because the source provided doesn't appear to connect them to the Barracks at all. If you can fill in the blanks here, and confirm a VER/RS source, I'm sure there's a solution also.

Finally, on the use of sections and headings, there is such a thing as having too many sections and heads. If a section only has only one sentence or two bullets in it, it probably doesn't need its own section, and should be editted and connected to other related content. In the same way, we need to be careful about grouping semi-related content somewhat indiscriminately. (You may want to refer to

Hey Guliolopez, thanks for the comments. The references do give the time, dates, places etc of the two executions, the details are in the books pages that are scanned and copied as photographs (i.e. they can't be found with crtl+F). I just tried to improve the page because it was very bare, the headings and information are there to guide future edits (by me and others) but if you want to get rid of them then go ahead. Casey, for example, is the 30th picture down. There's also evidence about him in the 9th and 10th pictures (in Irish).

Hi. Thanks for clarifying that the source/cite content was "within" the images on that page - rather than the text. On that basis I've reworked/readded some of the content proposed. However I've noted and tagged to suggest that, rather than relying on photographs of the memorial and books, it might be better to use the original book from which the images are extracted (or any other work that might be a better fit with

WP:RS). On Casey in particular I'm not certain (from the books I've read) as to whether, having been subject to (rushed) court-martial at the barracks, he was actually executed in the barracks proper, or on the other side of the city at the gaol (UCC). I still think there's a little too much weight in the context of the rest of the article, but I guess that's an impetus to expand the rest of the content.
