use of the minor edit flag at Pressure_ridge_(ice)

Information icon Hi Evgenii.salganik! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. DoctorMatt (talk) 19:05, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your tip, DoctorMatt. I checked the rules and will try to follow them in future. Regards.

It's similar enough to the source that it counts as

That is not the case except for the number of band members (how this can be fully rephrased?). And you removed other information which has nothing to do with the band website and any information form there. Evgenii Salganik (talk) 20:28, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How about something like this:

Dedalamazishvili founded the band in 2006, initially with three members, although the band's membership increased to fifteen by [DATE]. As of [DATE2], the band has seven members.

Does that work for you?

Yes. But the thing is that (1) by the time of your edits the sentence was already rephrased with additional sources, (2) you also removed about 3 sentences which were not sources from the copyright claim website of the band, but were supported by other sources. Evgenii Salganik (talk) 20:43, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my mistake. I didn't realize that.

No worries. I agree that the very first versions were too close to the http://www.mgzavrebi.com/about source for CR violation, but it was rephrased already here. Evgenii Salganik (talk) 20:52, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good to me. Thanks for being so responsive here. Avoiding clsoe paraphrasing can be a real pain and I appreciate the efforts you've made to address the issues.
