About ComputerSupport.com deletion
Hello! I saw that ===ComputerSupport.com=== wiki page was deleted. The page was live for more than 4 years. I assume that someone edited the page with some information about one of the founders - Kirill Bensonoff in the attempt to create a Wiki page for him and mentioned an Amazon url which was irrelevant. However, the ComputerSupport.com wiki page, as it was before that edit included relevant information about the company, the cooperation with CITRIX etc. Could you please reactivate the page?
Let me know.
Thank you,
Mike

- Thank you for your reply! The collaboration between ComputerSupport.com and CITRIX has been nothing but notable (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/computersupport-com-launches-next-generation-181630428.html). Basically, with Citrix, ComputerSupport launched a new generation of cloud hosting solution powered by Citrix Netscaler® VPX, Citrix XenApp® and Citrix XenMobile®. This is how ITAnyWhereCloud - a trademark was born, which is a faster, more scalable cloud solution with a focus on providing substantial savings over the on-premise infrastructure. Also, a Wikipedia admin has approved the page 4 years ago. It was live since then. Why wouldn't be notable anymore?

- I don't have any connection with the company for more than 2 years. So I don't really care if it's approved/deleted. But I consider it notable because of the product they developed and improved since 2013 onwards. Also, let's say finance.yahoo.com is not independent, I don't really know, but what is trully independent beside, maybe, Wikipedia. There were several sources listed on the deleted page. Were all of them promotional/affiliated? Let's take a look at this Wiki page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrafft%27s it has broken links as references, but there is a link to a book for sale on Amazon and another one on books.google.com. I am not saying Schrafft's is not notable cause it is, but the sources don't strike me as independent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.106.124.191 (talk) 07:45, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Deleted material retrieval + appeal on speedy deletion
Dear Creffett, first of all, thank you for the time you have committed to Wikipedia.
I have a couple of requests. You nominated the article for EXILE Content for speedy deletion back in May 2019. Although I did not agree with the nomination, I deferred to your judgment, given your experience and seniority on Wikipedia. When I created the article, I made the mistake of editing directly on Wikipedia, so I have no backup for the content. I wanted to ask you if you can recover the deleted content from the archive for me so I can update and improve the article. Once updated, I can submit it for your review. I believe it now exceeds the guidelines for notability as it has had a considerable amount of press coverage since.
Best regards,

) 13:04, 21 February 2020 (UTC)An ill-suited tag in Myroslav Yagoda article
Hello
- This article contains wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information=== Not true at all, the article combines views of multiple art critics with clear references
- This article has an unclear citation style === the Literature items (sources) are numbered, according to their appearance in the article (the main text and the references). What in particular is not clear?
- This biography of a living person needs additional citations for verification === the person passed away in 2018 (very clearly noted in the very first line)
Please remove this inappropriate tag. --Yuri Git (talk) 09:48, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Yuri Git
- Yuri Git, in order:
- I tagged it as subjective because of the use of phrases like "true integrity in his diverse art," "became a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground," and "he brought the reader into his imaginative worlds."
- You correctly cited things in the article, but it's not in the standard Wikipedia style of inline citations, please see our inline citation style guide.
- talk to the boss) 13:59, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi creffett, to address your further comments.
- I tagged it as subjective because of the use of phrases like "true integrity in his diverse art," "became a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground," and "he brought the reader into his imaginative worlds." === Please note that those phrases are not my subjective opinion, but the opinions of professional art critics. Just to indicate the values of this artist: today his solo exhibition was opened in the National Art Museum of Ukraine that is the #1 national art stage.
- You correctly cited things in the article, but it's not in the standard Wikipedia style of inline citations, please see our inline citation style guide. === As defined in the guideline, I used the classical "References" section that is placed near the bottom of the article. Do I miss something?
- You're right, that was a mistake on my part - I checked the wrong box when selecting tags. Fixed.=== Still you left this part "This article needs additional citations for verification". What do you mean? Can you be a bit more clear?.
Once again, please remove this inappropriate tag. --Yuri Git (talk) 16:42, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Yuri Git
- Yuri Git:
- I'm not saying that the artist isn't important, but if you have sources that actually use those phrases, then you should cite them. Also, since those are still kind of subjective opinions, we prefer to say that the source called him by those phrases - so something like "(newspaper) called Yagoda a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground" instead of "Yagoda is a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground" - does that difference make sense?
- I've gone ahead and reformatted the citations and removed the citation style tag - you did correctly cite things, the problem was that they weren't in the Wikipedia format of using <ref> tags, which turns the references into links to the reference section. Since I don't speak any of the languages used in the sources you cited, I'd really appreciate it if you could double-check how I cited them in case I made any errors.
- Again, this is partly because I can't read the sources, but I marked it as "needs citations for verification" because we don't have any citations for the Biography section (his birth and death, schooling, "mental disorder," things like that) and it's particularly important that biographical details be properly cited. If one of the existing sources does give that information, let me know and I can mark those with the appropriate references.
- talk) 03:45, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
Many thanks, creffett, I appreciate your help and efforts to improve the article. To address your further comments.

Also, since those are still kind of subjective opinions, we prefer to say that the source called him by those phrases - so something like "(newspaper) called Yagoda a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground" instead of "Yagoda is a true cult figure of the Ukrainian art underground" - does that difference make sense?=== Yes, I got your point. Just added a clear reference (according to your citation format!) to the "true cult figure". Not sure there are other critical "subjective opinions" that require sources, in order not to overload the article with references.
=== You did a really great job with all the foreign languages, highly appreciated. No errors - and I've learned the required format.

If one of the existing sources does give that information, let me know and I can mark those with the appropriate references. === I can add, but this is a kind of common knowledge (including his mental disorder, for example, in this article that you can Google-translate to English) that mentioned in many sources. In addition, I was in touch with the artist family, and double checked and further verified all the details. Again, I do not want to add reference to every common statement...
I hope that the article has been really improved now, and you can remove the tag. Many thanks again. --Yuri Git (talk) 09:34, 22 February 2020 (UTC)Yuri Git

Help
Dear Creffet,
You undid a modification on General Duval WP that I have done, as a cross-link on WP is - to my now understanding- forbidden if it links to another WP (in that case : french language WP). Is my understanding correct ? What should I do in this case ? Redoing the edit without the link to the French WP (General Duval was a prominent general of WWI and has created the first Air Division on history, and should, according to my point of view, be mentionned) ? Thank you by advance for your advise
Best regards
