Regarding Naruto articles

"Support - Although I'm more used to the FN-GN usage of Naruto character names, this is Wikipedia policy. I'll defer to the official policies. Theres probably going to be a bunch of bitching from new users/anons, but I guess we can point them towards WP:MOS-JA. --GhostStalker 20:34, 2 August 2006 (UTC)"

But Naruto does NOT take place in modern day Japan. It takes place in a fictional world inspired by modern-day Japan. Since the characters are not in the MOS-JA name switching time period, let alone the same World, this argument goes out the window. (By the way the VIZ English manga uses Japanese order) WhisperToMe 21:27, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:American Empire

This is based largely on info from the 2nd GiG article (hence the resemblence to the material already here), but some of it came off of various websites I have seen for the Gits. As for the map, I do believe that the lines drawn on it represent the countries of the world. Gits material has mentioned the European Union, so it stands to reason they operate under that entity internationally. Also keep in the mind that world wars do change boundry lines. As I make it the US and AE are seperate entities, but I will see if I can find some conclusive evidence of this to cite; failing this, I will see about having the article retooled or axed. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:17, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added a new section to discuss the in series evidence for and against an independent AE and US. With thanksgiving break nearly upon us I may have time to really dig into this over the weekend, other wise this may and up on the back burner until after finals week. Reaction

Eh, you're having a better reaction to us having roughly the same name then most people do. I had a kid stalk me in an online game cause of it. Ya ever need anything, lemme know. I'd be funny as hell for the 2 of us to get involved in the same conversation and having people getting the names screwed up. Cheap, but dirty :D

Tainted poll?

Hi. Sorry to bother you. You participated in a television episode article naming poll which now lives

Ichigo edits

Please, feel free to correct any grammatical mistake you might see. You're right about english not being my first language, and that's the reason why I usually never rewrite entire paragraphs. But I know about Bleach, and that article was a mess. So correct my grammar, but please don't revert it as a whole, because that page will be a lot worse in terms of correct informations. Re: Barnes & Noble early manga releases

It seems... wrong, to me, that they'd be able to do that. I mean, isn't that what release dates are for? I know, it's a discussion for another time and place. Anyway, I've added comments to both volume counts in the Media section. Thanks for the suggestion! Nique talk 18:03, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Taken almost 2yrs to reply to you... man I'm behind. Coincidence, maybe... but the name kinda fits my style of living, and for that I'll allow your imagination to run wild. RIT is an excellent school, and I'm right across the Hudson from you (In fact, my father holds a masters in engineering from there and supports our entire family). Good luck to you in your studies, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I stick by my fellow gamers. Ghostalker (talk) 04:55, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tsubaki's crush

Please stop the edit war. Questions should be asked in a separate discussion, not in the comments on rollbacks. Tsubaki's crush on Aoi is literally the running gag in the franchise, even VA openly comment on it. This is repeatedly discussed in the game when Hiro teases Tsubaki about her wanting to make cookies for Aoi once she mentioned that she likes homemade or in the anime when Tsubaki offered Aoi a cocktail and Hiro mentions its romantic meaning. Moreover, the first or one of the first Valentine's events is dedicated to her trying to make chocolate for Aoi. It's more than open. Solaire the knight (talk) 17:11, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Started a section on the Talk page. Would rather continue the discussion there. Noting your examples, I'm rather not sure whether said crush is so notable a character detail to be mentioned, as it seems more fancruft-y to me. GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 17:21, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The fact is that this crush is actually one of the main features of her personality as a character, since she is "just don't think that ..." tsundere. Just like Aoi's handsome "ikemen" who doesn't realize why girls are interested in her. Solaire the knight (talk) 17:26, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I again admit that I haven't been very deep into RONDO's storyline (even if one of Tsubaki's initial 4*s is one of my highest bond units), so I can see where you're coming from. However, the way you worded it makes it seem like you're shoehorning a speculative character detail into the article. Cleaned up your comment a little bit in the Unichord section for the same reason, and that's a lot more easily cited. GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 17:31, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If the question is in the wording, then I will have no problem if you, as a native English speaker, correct it. Though I do think her sexuality is still vague, given Aoi's androgyny and personality, it's hard to tell if her ikemen image played a role here. Haruna is more explicit in this regard, as she clearly implies that she likes Aoi due to the reminiscent of bishonens in the shoujo manga (card where she strokes her head and Haruna quotes tropes from the manga with this thing). Solaire the knight (talk) 17:36, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would change around the grammar, but I don't want to be accused of 3RR, so I'll let someone else tackle the wording, unless no one else has an opinion by the time the 3RR timer runs out. GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 17:40, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not everything well-cited needs to be in an article

Not everything well-cited needs to be in an article. The article Shake Shack is supposed to be an overview of the whole topic. 50 or 100 years from now, this little not-incident is so silly, and will certainly not be there. It shouldn't even be in the history section, it has no place there, and does not inform readers about the company or brand in any way. Totally over-blown non-incident. Even other miniscule happenings don't make their way into the more-specific article History of the New York City Police Department, so why should they be here? ɱ (talk) 15:54, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, I readily admit I'm biased because of where I live. If you get a consensus to remove the material, I won't contest it. GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 20:29, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to open a talk page discussion about it, go ahead. Otherwise I'm just gonna remove it again. It clearly doesn't fit. ɱ (talk) 02:52, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's on you to get consensus as per
WP:BRD. But I respect that you haven't removed it until I replied. If a talk page hasn't been started by tomorrow, I'll go ahead and make one. GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 13:05, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply

Aqours and Mori Calliope

Hi, two things. If Aqours wasn't at Anime NYC or only parts were, you want to report that to animecons.com. They're the de facto anime convention information site for guest lists and 99% of the time that's what anime convention articles will go by. We also list guests in English alphabetical order, if Mori Calliope's name is in the wrong order and needs to be switched, I'd reach out again to animecons.com to get it fixed. I try to keep the same standards across all the anime convention articles, and that's why it gets changed. Esw01407 (talk) 01:20, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have reported it to Animecons.com; they haven’t changed it. I was at that AnimeNYC, I worked that concert as Crew, I know it was only Guilty Kiss there. Yes, that’s OR, but the 2019 guest list on the AnimeNYC.com website (https://animenyc.com/archives/guests-2019/) also only lists GK as a guest, not all of Aqours. I can source that to the Anime NYC website instead of animecons.com if you’d like.
As for Mori, her own page on Wikipedia Mori Calliope has a note up top where it mentions her surname name as Mori. I know this is inconsistent with the rest of Wikipedia where we do Western name order for article names most of the time, but I guess vtubers are an exception for whatever reason?
Also, seeing your most recent revert to the ANYC page, Acky Bright as a guest in 2023 can also be cited to the ANYC 2023 guests page as he’s listed there (https://animenyc.com/archives/guests-2023/). I was working Autographing that day and remember handing out wristbands to attend his signing as well. (Again, OR; but that’s why I brought a source as well).GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 01:52, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, the primary source website isn't much better then original research. That note has no citation on the Mori page, but having to check OR (YouTube intereview), she pronounces it Calliope Mori. I'll find a way to note it. I'll try to find sources that aren't primary source for Acky Bright, so far I have them for 2022. Esw01407 (talk) 04:20, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, according to
WP:PRIMARY we’re allowed to use primary sources for statements of fact, which guests at an anime con would be, yeah? GhostStalker (Got a present for ya! / Mission Log) 04:57, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply
