I've deleted it. For the record, writing in your own words is always better.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 08:12, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

Hi! Is there a way to retrieve a deleted article? I saved it my email but it was accidentally deleted. I wanted to work on it so I don't have to spend hours on it. Sorry but thanks if you can help!

Informsac (talk) 02:18, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are ways to undelete a page, but Wikipedia takes copyright infringement very seriously. As this was the reason your page was deleted, it is highly unlikely it will be undeleted. I suggest that you use the
help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 02:21, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply

This is the second time now, please take in consideration even the minimal parts of copyvio; if it's still even too closely paraphrased, it's best to not include it. Any further attempts may lead to having the article locked. SwisterTwister talk 05:48, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again! So I now see the problem. I have included links from Wikipedia articles...my apologies for that! And now I'm now working to de-orphan the article. I've tried to rewrite it to reduce the copyright issues and so far so good but I can't change some of the titles since that's his titles (past and present). Please advise! Thanks.

After chatting with an editor in the Wikipedia Chat Page, I have de-orphaned the article by adding a redirect. I read in a Wikipedia article that a redirect can help de-orphan an article if other Wiki articles don't mention the title. I look forward to any action. Thanks!

File permission problem with File:Irving Paul Formal.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Irving Paul Formal.jpg, which you've attributed to Milken Institute. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:23, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No conflict of interest and am receiving no compensation...I wish :-)

A definite conflict of interest exists. In remarks on this page that you later deleted - see here - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Informsac&direction=prev&oldid=732585766 - you admitted to being employed by the subject of the article. Exemplo347 (talk) 17:41, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I only deleted as it didn't add to the conversation. If you notice (since I now that edited comments are saved) I delete and add if I feel the comment is missing something or needs something. This is a learning process (rewriting pieces)so thanks for the opportunity. I look forward to your comments/ future action.

Please disclose your COI

Full disclosure - I write for publications as a volunteer since the purpose is to build my portfolio. I haven't written for Irving but he saw one of my pieces.

You edits show that you are related to Paul H. Irving in some way. I strongly suggest that you disclose your connection. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 05:05, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
