Thanks

Thanks, Spinboy. Wikipedia is fast becoming my favorite reference source, especially for pop culture-related topics. So far, I haven't found any topics I feel like I know enough about to start my own article yet. When I do edit, I mostly just fix spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting. At the very least, I think I'll make a page about myself soon. See you around the internets! JDspeeder1 09:16, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

CP2020

Hi I noticed you added a section to the article

Cyberpunk 2020
about The Altcults, under the section about Sequels. I am the proud owner of a 20+ books from R. Talsorian Games, I have never heard about this sequal from them. I hope you can tell some more about this segual.
Angelbo 23:00, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • All I did was correct a spelling error. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about about the game or sequals. Sorry. JDspeeder1 17:47, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thats cool, keep up the good work, sory for mistaking you ffor another then. Angelbo 09:11, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Numa Numa

Greetings, JDspeeder1. Thank you for your edits to Numa Numa! I've been copyediting the article and adding references, and any help is very appreciated. Do you have any general suggestions for improving the article? It is the first article that I've put a lot of effort into, so I am eager to hear suggestions. Many thanks again, --Iamunknown 02:05, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Color versus colour

You edited the Amanita phalloides‎ article, changing the word "colour" to be spelled in American English "colour." However, the latter is used elsewhere in the article, and the species is a European native, so I replaced your spelling changes. In general, on Wikipedia, it makes it easier on the reader to use one English dialect throughout the article. So, if you see a Brittish spelling, and want to change it, check the rest of the article first. If it's a European native, and the rest of the article uses the same spelling, it should generally not be changed. KP Botany 03:15, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mona Leaves-A

Please don't change the cultural reference section to bullets. The paragraph form is the much preferred version, thank you. The DominatorTalkEdits 13:54, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 06:36, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies.  I do tend to go overboard with that sometimes.  Should I be the one to undo it or will you? JDspeeder1 (talk) 13:19, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'd very much appreciate it if you would, I just don't have the time. Thanks very much for your cooperation and good will, it's much appreciated. Doug Weller talk 13:37, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will, but I forget which article you're referring to. I make a lot of small edits. JDspeeder1 (talk) 15:43, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Found it.[1]. Doug Weller talk 14:13, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Which one? I'd do it if I knew which article I'm supposed to be editing. JDspeeder1 (talk) 23:29, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Linked in my post. Doug Weller talk 19:23, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm going to make the same remark. Stuff like "flight attendant" really doesn't need a link; and links shouldn't be inaccurate, either: a forest fire caused by a plane crashing is not really a "wildfire", especially not when it gets extinguished rather hurriedly thereafter... Also, consecutive links (for examples and reasons why, see
    WP:SOB) should be generally avoided. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 19:20, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply

Mulatto Vs. Mixed Race

Ordinarily I wouldn't quibble at all about this change. The only thing is that I wonder if Mr. Jones may have referred to his mother in this way. It is not mentioned in the citation given at the end of the sentence but I wonder if it might be in the rather lengthy audio interview given by Mr. Jones. It is a strange choice of word to be used in these modern times. Maybe it is possible to contact the editor who used the word originally to find out why they made the decision to use that word to describe the mother's race. bobdog54 (talk) 19:27, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure who that editor was. How do I find that out? JDspeeder1 (talk) 12:38, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
and this should really be a new section. JDspeeder1 (talk) 12:40, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So now it is. JDspeeder1 (talk) 12:43, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I retract my request for help tracking down the editor. I believe I've found them and am reaching out now. JDspeeder1 (talk) 13:02, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
