I am replacing the notability tag on this page. If you look at the notability guidelines you'll see that appearing on a self-publish label like CD Baby is not one of the criteria. You need to find some

I'll replace it ASAP with something that I have explicit permission for although I have implicit permission from the owner of the copyright for the current one. Johngagon (talk) 03:45, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on

criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable
.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles:

NB As is the page is likely to get deleted. If you have more info later in the week, you an re-create the article at that time. Travelbird (talk) 14:02, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can I just reiterate what Travelbird has said above. It sounds like an excellent organisation, and if it is gaining notoriety then all the better for an article to exist about it. However it is always better to have the full details before you create the article because unless you show the notability of the subject area it will be deleted. I look forward to reading more about it when you have more details. -- roleplayer 14:06, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
