I tried to add a reference to a journal article (under "Reinforcement Learning"). The accepted article (2010) discusses a reinforcement learning algorithm applied in a fixed arm robot system. Although the reference added does not violate Wikipedia's Conflict of interest or the External Links guidelines, it was removed. Since I see under "References" of the term similar information to mine (a list of references to related journal papers) I'm asking for an explanation for the removal.
The article Stockato has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Notability not established
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

- Hi Kartoun, unfortunately number of Facebook fans does not count toward whether an article topic is notable. On Teahouse question forum which was started to help support new editors. Best, heather walls (talk) 16:31, 9 August 2012 (UTC)]
Heather, I added another reference to Stockato - it's an upcoming article at a 15,000-circulation magazine called IMPACT (published in the U.S.). I reviewed the Wikipedia notability guidelines. Within the context of notability and "worthy of notice", I find the guidelines as subjective. Thanks, Uri
- Sometimes it does seem that way. Check out this page on referencing, you need to add citations to the info in your article. :) heather walls (talk) 19:01, 9 August 2012 (UTC)]
Wow! It means that you are O.K. with keeping what I wrote. I'm so glad! I added citations and I'll be glad for any additional feedback. Thank you, Uri.
- That is not exactly true. I still think you need to come up with some reliable sources, Facebook and an upcoming article will not qualify for that. I am also not the only one looking over pages, and someone else can come along and tag this article for deletion until you resolve it. heather walls (talk) 21:11, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
There are two more articles which I mentioned as references - at a magazine called "Hedge Fund Alert" (the journalist is Howard Kapiloff), and another coverage by author and journalist Jack Miller - an on-line recorded 35 min interview. The following weeks are expecting to be exciting and hopefully Stockato will receive additional coverage. Cross fingers.
Speedy deletion nomination of KneePh

the guide to writing your first article.to help you create articles.You may want to consider using the Article Wizard
A tag has been placed on KneePh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. GILO A&E⇑ 20:30, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi Jujutacular,
The Stockato Wikipedia term exists for more than 3 years now. It contains references to the USPTO, to Tradestreaming, and to The Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Have you looked at the references? The KneePh Wikipedia term requires a bit more of a work from my side as it is relatively new.
Read again the terms - they contain no promotional materials. Only public facts are presented. If there is a promotional content then go ahead and remove it. Please don't delete the entire terms.
Best,
Uri

Thanks. References for healthcare related studies should always be coming from PubMed (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/). Not clear why you deleted the edits that I provided to Cirrhosis. The reference that I provided was published in PubMed.

Conflict of Interest Guidelines
Hello Kartoun, I see above that you have already been made aware to not use Wikipedia to promote yourself and had some delete discussions where this was an issue.
However I don't know if you have been made aware of Wikipedia's
This boils down to:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
I am pretty certain that this guideline also applies to research topics/projects to which you are one of the main contributors, as MELD-Plus and Text nailing. Please also note that Wikipedias notability guidelines require significant coverage of the subject by independent sources (not by you, your research colleagues or affiliated institutions). I cannot see that for the articles mentioned above. I kindly suggest that you find such coverage, as otherwise they may be proposed for deletion as well.
Finally, while it is generally acceptable to cite your own work (within reason), I'd advise against adding new content to articles to then support it with a citation of your own work, as you did at IBM. Again, if you think it is relevant, propose it on the talk pages of the respective article (as explained above).
I'll be taking a bit of a Wikibreak now, so it may be a bit until I answer any responses - if you need more clarification on this, I'd suggest visiting the Teahouse page were you can informally ask anything.

Dear Averell23 - thank you for the information! I was not aware that it is not allowed to edit my company's page. I won't do that again. Note that I added 5 external references for press coverage at the MELD-Plus page.

Uri: not sure what copyright material you are referring to. "Journal of Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice" is just another medical journal that is indexed by a governmental resource, PubMed. Most medical journals are listed in Wikipedia so I'm not sure what is the source of the resistance for not including this journal as well.
