Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited List of isomers of decane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ethyl (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Your contributed article,
List of isomers of octane

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read

the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page,

speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at octane - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page

Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit

List of ternary equivalents for decimal fractions

Thanks for adding the table of balanced ternary representations for various fractions. What was your source for this list? I think I found a couple mistakes when double-checking the larger fractions. Please respond in Talk:Balanced ternary#List of ternary equivalents for decimal fractions --Quantum7 21:43, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How did you do the division?--Kc kennylau (talk) 02:43, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was originally just double-checking via multiplication (eg 1/16 * 16 = 1). When I couldn't get it to equal one I calculated the answer by hand using long division. The only difference I found from decimal long division is that you have to carry a digit in the result if the remainder is more than twice the divisor. --Quantum7 16:44, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I used Wolframalpha to convert. E.g.[1]0.0011202122110201. Then, I convert 02 to +-.
1)0.0011202122110201
2)0.00++202+22++020+
3)0.00+2-+-20-+++-0+
4)0.002--+0-0-+++-0+
5)0.0+---+0-0-+++-0+

The article Balanced ternary/proof has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a proof or proofs, just trivial calculations. Per
WP:NOTHOWTO
entirely unencyclopaedic.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. And thank you - I'm an Admin here and a member of the Arbitration Commitee. I keep thinking about this and realise that I'm still distracted by the wording of your edit. Basically the section is about mentions of
WP:NPOV
(we don't tell readers what is interesting or try to make an argument by saying "look what's written after that" without sources).
But all of this is about interpretations of the text without any reference to Canaanite religion. What probably is fine is to say that Elyōn is mentioned in the DSC as well as the Hebrew Bible. At the moment I can't see why we should have any quotes in that section at all, just say where the name is mentioned. Doug Weller talk 12:36, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
