IEC 60601-1

Hi Marmotte. Thanks for contributing IEC 60601-1 5I've seen your edit summary). However, I'm just letting you know that help.com does not meet our requirements for

WP:RS (reliable source), and that we strictly ,need something else to prevent a patroller from possibly flagging your article for deletion. Is there a pdf for example, of this safety requirement that you know of? --Kudpung (talk) 03:02, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply
]

THX for the feedback Kudpung. for the 601help link, I probably read the guideline for reliable source a bit too fast; I can delete the link, it is not very important. As of a pdf, no of course as the standard itself is copyrighted. I can provide a link towards a draft of the American deviations edition (UL):http://ulstandardsinfonet.ul.com/harm/drafts/medical/s60601-1_1.pdf otherwise there is a good paper here, but not in pdf: http://www.mddionline.com/article/regulatory-strategies-third-edition-iec-60601-1 . I'll see what I can provide more. THX again--MarmotteNZ (talk) 03:14, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for looking for more sources. Just use those URLs as inline references, and an inline link to the PDF that you know of. That way we are not reproducing anything on our pages and comitting any copyright violation. It's the standard way to provide sources, which of course all our article must have. if you a re not sure how to create inline refs, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Cheers. --Kudpung (talk) 04:13, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Bk314159 (Talk to me and find out what I've done) 03:16, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do not hide major edits as minor

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to List of Linux audio software, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. —J. M. (talk) 00:27, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
