Lake Buhi

Thank you for your comments concerning Lake Buhi. However, I don't believe that I can provide an infobox for the lake as of now since I am more familiar with taxoboxes for biological species. I will try to study the Lake infoboxes after fixing my acads (translation: Thesis is hell) Lenticel 02:11, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck to your thesis as well. I hope we both graduate in time. Lenticel 04:44, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,could you ask other editors in Wikipedia:WikiProject_Lakes for help? I think I cannot make this article better. I did study the infobox but it seems that people with better skills can fill it up better than I do. --Lenticel 04:09, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Narnia News
  • The WikiProject has been a little quiet lately. There are still quite a lot of Narnia stubs. It has been nearly three months since we last worked on
Minor characters in The Chronicles of Narnia
, which still looks very much like a draft page. That would be a nice article to get into the main namespace.
Good and Featured Articles
  • Narnian timeline
    .
Other news
  • WikiProject Narnia's first newsletter issue has been published. You're looking at it right now!
Member News
To-do
  1. Add characters and bios to
    minor character draft page
    .
  2. Expand Narnia stubs.
  3. Link the first mention of a year in all Narnia-related articles to
    Narnian timeline
    .
  4. Rewrite
    Narnian character example article
    format.
  5. Adopt an article
and improve it to the best of your ability.
  6. Wikify The Chronicles of Narnia article, especially the new lead and Narnian Universe sections
From the founder

I am proud to present our first issue of the WikiProject Narnia Newsletter. I decided that we needed to alert everybody who had expressed interest in the project that there is much work to be done! Please check in every once in a while at

the project talk page
, and tell other project members what you've been up to in terms of Narnia articles.

Article of the Month: Edmund Pevensie
  • Edmund Pevensie is a major character in The Chronicles of Narnia. He appears as a principal character in three of the seven books. Edmund was the second to enter Narnia, although he tried to betray his siblings to the White Witch. However, Edmund managed to help save Narnia by neutralizing the White Witch's most powerful weapon, her wand.
Collaboration of the Month: Shasta (Narnia)
  • Shasta is currently quite short and not much of his background has been mentioned. The article also lacks images – but make sure if you upload one, you include a
    FU rationale. Contribute!

UPLB Infobox

You did a great job on the infobox for the UP System, congrats! There's a problem with the spelling of

UPLB
infobox however - Institute was spelled as Instutute. It would be great if you could make a correction. Thanks!

Invitation

Hello, I noticed you've made edits to University of the Philippines (UP) and UP–related articles and thought you might want to support our recent proposal to create the WikiProject University of the Philippines. We've recently revamped the proposal and started a drive to push the approval of this project. We have a lot of articles that may be under this project and we would like assistance and support for its approval. Hope we'll have a very positive response. Go Fighting Maroons!

P.S. You can look at the preliminary drafts of the project in

Hello there! I just recently checked out UPMin's entry on Wiki and found out the logo was replaced using the standard guidelines stipulated in the UP Brand Book. I appreciate this effort of yours.

Can you upload a higher-quality and larger-sized version of the same logo, perhaps even an SVG version of the logo? We'd appreciate this if you will.

Thank you! At mabuhay ang mga Iskolar ng Bayan!

UPLB graduation

Do you have any photos? It'll be much use in the article. A photo of a sea of students in toga while in their seats/procession would be preferable. Or anything that would fit the caption "UPLB graduates wear a black cap and gown[76] as opposed to the graduates of other UP constituents who wear the sablay.[77][78]". Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175

Dear Meynardtengco,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the

Tambayan
, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,
