Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Timtrent was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Hi Minaro123! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Brokpa several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Brokpa, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 17:01, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome!
Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Minaro123! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Kautilya3 (talk) 13:33, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please see HELP:Talk pages for guidance on writing talk posts, in particular indentation and signing. You want to be able to write clear and compact posts so that the other editors can understand what you are trying to say. The purpose of writing posts is to convince others about your position, not necessarily to argue a case. Providing reliable sources to back up your claims is always a good idea. All the best! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:37, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Slow down
Hi Minaro123, Regarding the comments you made in your response here, I am sorry for having claimed that you said "Minaro" means "Aryan". But it was there in the pages you edited, and you left it there. So, it means at least that you agreed with it.
In any case, it seems that you started out by creating new pages, which nobody observed and so you didn't receive any guidance. I just gave you welcome message a day or two ago, which has a lot of links to policy pages. I think you need to stop editing for a while and study them. In particuar

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Darchik. Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aryan valley that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. @Kautilya3:
It is also impolite to state a statement which is false and saying a one side of a story is always dangerous. please don't have a personal attack in Brokpa like saying " they have a dravadian dna " .
The dna result also says they have a predominance dna which might be come from outside of Indian subcontinent, you haven't cited that .
It hurts the sentiment of Brokpa if anyone is not saying a full truth about them .
I always talk politely , and I respect the rule of wikepedia.
But your incomplete and false statement about Brokpa have made me angry and depressed .
And I had to say it because I couldn't take the disrespectful and deleting the a popular place Aryan valley where Brokpa lives is unfair[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aryan valley until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Signing your posts will go a long way towards getting you listened to. Resist the urge to argue with Kautilya3, who is wrong and behaving badly. But you do not want to edit war also, or people won't bother to help you.
I can only put a couple more days into this right now for reasons outside Wikipedia. Concentrate on finding sources. They do not necessarily need to be in English. Consider Urdu or Hindi or Tibetan or Chinese. I have looked at your user page and now realize that you don't speak those languages either, but maybe you can enlist some help? If not there is Google Translate. I could do that also but I should start with languages I speak well (English, French) somewhat (Spanish) and badly (Portuguese, German)
The last few sources you have posted were quite good and helped you a lot, I think. Concentrate on finding some more. Elinruby (talk) 04:21, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
@Elinruby:
Thank you for saying , it is not just my help , but saving region which has been using by newspaper like Indian express, research articles like :Indra Gandhi National art center , official government websites like leh.nic.un and kargil.nic.in and many more . Saving a Aryan valley region is for the betterment of the wikepedia that we are adding more articles which is well known and using by many sources.
Dear Elinruby ,there are many local English news articles have aryan valley region and about its region , however those local newspaper and other national newspapers are not listed under reliable source as per wikepedia .there is no mention of those newspaper in wikepedia ,either they could be reliable as per wikepedia or maybe not ,
Well i think we have presented more than enough evidence of Aryan valley region to prove for its existence and deserve it to be on wikepedia .so aryan valley deserve to be a articles on wikepedia.
Still I am searching about Aryan valley articles from reliable source and i will let you know if I found any in any language.
Thank you Minaro123 (talk) 04:55, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Of course ;) I wouldn't help you if I didn't think it was good for Wikipedia. Let me know if I can help with questions about the reliable sources policy as that is something I do know quite a bit about. Bear in mind that Wikipedia, in general, does want to include new material if it can be shown to have some importance. The perennial sources list I was talking about does include the Express, so you are good there.
However, a source does not need to be on that list to be considered reliable --- those are just news sources that have been asked about many times and on which Wikipedia editors have agreed. I saw an article on thewire.in, for example and wasn't sure because it said something about user contributions, but on closer examination the user contributions seem to be monetary, so I am going to look again. The main reason for the policy is to keep nonsense out of the encyclopedia, so if just anyone can contribute it is not a reliable source. The reason I said that that one book may not be a reliable source is that it may be a vanity press. Probably you can research this better than I can if you are actually in India. The question is whether anyone can show up with a manuscript and pay to have it published. In general books are considered reliable because a publisher has a reputation at stake and does an editorial review to ensure accuracy of the product. With periodicals you would like to see a stated editorial policy and an indication such as a staff box that there are paid editorial employees. This is why blogs do not count, unless the author is an expert. The policy is quite nuanced and there is also a noticeboard for asking about specific sources in context. I will ask some questions over there for you while I am still on this, as you already are working on a steep learning curve and I do not want to overload you. For reference though, the noticeboard is at
WP:RSN
. Ask me you questions about sources on the article talk page rather than here; it is good for the people evaluating the page to see that you are listening to what people are telling you and working to improve the article.
I have been improving the English in a lot of the articles about the area; some editors are easily discouraged by minor errors of punctuation and capitalization that make a text difficult for monolingual English speakers to read, and my theory is that this may improve your chances of attracting additional helpful editors. I will see if I can request help at some applicable projects. I will also go through the history of these articles as there may be some usable sources there; if you were told that Al-Jazeera is no good. for example, that was quite possibly wrong, as it too is on that list of perennial sources. I am getting a better idea of the geography and history and may start adding to the article tonight. Feel free to tell me if I make any mistakes, but I will be careful.
Bottom line, stop arguing on the AfD page. They understand that you want to keep it. Concentrate on sources. 05:30, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
overlinking
This is something you may have noticed in my edit summaries. Just to explain it to you: As a matter of style generally we wikilink only the first mention of a name. Only. So I have been unlinking subsequent mentions, just to cut down on the amount of housekeeping that needs to be done, mainly for the same reason as I have been tidying up the spaces and punctuation. Not a big deal, and I realize there is a steep learning curve. Just something to keep in mind as you are writing. Elinruby (talk) 11:46, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your comment ,Could you explain me about how to wiki link first mention of a name. I didn't get it clear . Is it that we can "[[ ]]" around a topic name so that it get wiki link or you are talking about wiki link a user while replying them .
I would be very thankful if you clarify that.
Thank youMinaro123 (talk) 12:27, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Above I am talking about putting [[ ]]. Maybe I should have said "words" not "names". I was thinking of for example "Ladakh" or "Kashmir" when I said that, but the comment also applies to, for example, "stupa", if it is used more than once. As an aside, usually we would not wikilink countries such as India or Pakistan, and this too can be considered overlinking. I myself make an exception for smaller, less-known countries that someone might not be familiar with, such as "Vanatu". Like most Wikipedia policies, this is more of an art than a science.
Since I am in teaching mode, when it comes to usernames on talk pages. {{ping|username}} notifies the other user. {{user|username}} or {{u|username}} is called a "mention" and might not result in a notification if the user has opted out in their settings. Some people do and are annoyed by being repeatedly pinged. This is a small courtesy but nice to remember. Hope this helps. 04:48, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
I am out for at least a couple of days
I have some off-line matters that are becoming urgent. You might see me doing something that is easier for me in spurts, here and there, as I sometimes clean up wikipedia articles as a sort of meditation. I have a translation about French law that is currently on hold, for example. But this article has reached a point where it needs rewriting and more content. I think that it is pretty well established that the government uses the term, so I do not think the article will be deleted. Some editors seem to really dislike the name however, and it does have unfortunate associations, so you may have other challenges to it. I will come back to help you and will check on it in the meantime, but it is important to understand that the article does need extensive work still, and that you should be seen as working on improving it, even if slowly. So don't stop altogether.
Some suggestions for improvement: I was going to add "Minaro" to the Etymology section but the reference link for that in the Brokpa article does not seem to be working. This might be a problem with my laptop, which is underpowered and in use for other things as well. I do see what you mean about another Brogpa group in another part of India. There are technicalities involved in renaming the article that I am going to have to research myself. Perhaps we can mention in this article that it means "hill people" and has been applied to other hill people. In any event -- I am not certain that what I wrote about the Dards is correct -- please check. If we are going to have that section, we should probably also cover "Aryan" in it also. There also seem to be opinions out there that the name was chosen (it looks like it was by the former government of Jammu and Kashmir?) to get away from the associations of "Kashmir" with the Pakistani term "Indian-occupied Kashmir" and all of the violence that has plagued the general area since partition.
The term Aryan needs to be discussed as a trope of British colonialism and also in terms of the criticisms related to its misuse my Hindu nationalists. These are deep waters that require a lot of concentration on my part, as I am starting from complete unfamiliarity with everything involved, but I outlined a suggested structure on the talk page. Please do not hesitate to tell me that I am wrong about something, but remember that this section especially should be well-sourced.
The government mentions of "Aryan valley" establish notability for purposes of AfD, but they are considered primary. The newspapers are secondary sources, which is good, and at least some of the ones I have reviewed -- and noted on the talk page -- do seem to meet RS criteria. Since we are talking about an area, infrastructure improvements and cultural programs are relevant. I saw a story, I think in Kloos, about an oral tradition of barley coming from Tibet. This is relevant especially since the Ladakh Studies Kloos piece seems to be RS.
Some of the External Links look self-published. If you don't understand this issue yet it can wait until I come back.
I have been referring to you as "he", as I am under the impression that Singay is a man's name. Please let me know whether I am using the correct pronoun. While we are here, I prefer to be called "they" but I do not accord a lot of importance to the matter, and people usually default to "he", which bothers me not at all.
