The Wikipedia Library gets Wikipedia editors free access to reliable sources that are behind paywalls. Because you are signed on as a medical editor, I thought you'd want to know about our most recent donation from Cochrane Collaboration.
- Cochrane Collaborationis an independent medical nonprofit organization that conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
- Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account.
- If you are still active as a medical editor, come and sign up :)

Good to see your name
It's good to see your name again on my watchlist. I responded to many in the RFAR, - simply look for "Tim riley" to find what should interest you! - To my knowledge, nothing like you described happened in 2013, at least nobody showed me any incidence, - I kept asking, but am happy that things got more friendly, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:59, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
infobox
I am intrigued by your contribution to the infobox case. A theme rattling though my head is "some of the dispute arises because the two 'sides' aren't really in opposition, even though they think they are, and some aspects can be resolved though better information". One of the examples appears to be the desire of those supporting infoboxes to use them to deliver metadata. I've heard more than once that one can provide metadata without having to create an infobox. I'm aware of Persondata. Is this what is meant, or is there something more? I'd like to get more up to speed on the subject.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 23:46, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
- (watching) One could supply metadata within the text, but so far that is a concept to dream of or to work on. Until then, the infoboxes are the next best approach,.Persondata don't help. - However, metadata is just one aspect, there's more, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:32, 17 July 2013 (UTC)]
Infobox controversies
You are right that infobox controversies are not limited to classical music. They may be particularly noteworthy there because there is a strong anti-infobox culture who push back against the infobox pushers. A particularly ugly controversy involved

Editor of the Week : nominations needed!
The Editor of the Week initiative has been recognizing editors since 2013 for their hard work and dedication. Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly Editor of the Week award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The response from the honorees has been enthusiastic and thankful.
The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Is there an editor who does lots of little tasks well, such as cleaning up citations?
Please help us thank editors who display sustained patterns of excellence, working tirelessly in the background out of the spotlight, by submitting your nomination for Editor of the Week today!
