Please reconsider

Hi. I ask you to reconsider your stance on worker satisfaction lead mention at the

WP:WEIGHT are flexible enough to allow this mention. Please reconsider the fact that your opinion on what constitutes "important aspects of the article" may not be the best guide to acceptable content. Let's work together and make a better page. Fleetham (talk

I asked you three times already not to split the discussion. The only page this discussion will take place in is Talk:Fastenal. --Muhandes (talk) 16:30, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

User talk:46.116.200.228

Hi, just thought since you made the last warning at User talk:46.116.200.228 one that threatened a block, I'd point out this edit and let you decide whether it's worthy of your promise of a block (I've not undergone any training for blocking, so I consider myself not qualified to issue blocks). The edit here is the introduction of a fallacy into an article. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 16:42, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know. It seems like another editor (the one I warned was a
assume good faith on this one, but I left another warning. --Muhandes (talk

No problem! That's probably a wise choice-- I was somewhat tempted to assume it was good faith as well, but wasn't sure if there is such an assumption after such recently confirmed vandalism. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 02:35, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Request for help

Hello Muhandes, I would like to ask for your help.Recently I have uploaded a picture with all required information and copyright info to an article.I have explained copyright details which is in Farsi in English and warned against deleting this. But one of administrator deleted the image immediately without any clarification be forehead. If they don't know Persian they should ask for help from Persian community or administrator I guess.

"Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged"

I complained and they accused me of lying and vandalism and also they keep saying I bland my page when I receive warning.I have done this only once (in the case of warning) when I was trying to find a way to response to your request on images I have uploaded wrongly. Please if possible come to my talk page and read through discussions.I think this is my right to defend myself when I am accused of lying and vandalism without any proof.

Thank you ehsan1388 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ehsan1388 (talkcontribs) 05:27, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

I've read the discussion and it seems to me like the image was removed because the English page on which it appeared did not include the permission. If you provide the page from which the image was taken, with the permission in Farsi, the image should be restored. I also recommend uploading such images directly to Wikipedia Commons. I left a word on your talk page asking everyone to continue going with good faith. Best regards. --Muhandes (talk) 07:47, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Thank you sir, really appreciate you words. Now I will submit the page only to you not to those rude people!Thank you again! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ehsan1388 (talkcontribs) 08:29, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Hello Muhandes,Sorry for headache.I Had no success in contacting wikipedia!I also contacted one of the editor and asked for help but he replied DO NOT Canvas!! therefore I submit the link to the page (of original photo in Persian) only to you.I hope i am not asking too much.this is the link to the original image and the copyright notice at the bottom of the page in Persian.http://www.mehrnews.com/fa/newsdetail.aspx?NewsID=1242739
I also uploaded new picture to wikipedia Farsi.http://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/پرونده:Space_Lab_ISA.jpg and http://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/پرونده:Safir_slv_omid_carrier.jpg
I wait for your response to either use those picture and or restoration of the previous one.

Thank You --Ehsan1388 (talk) 17:18, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

I don't speak Farsi, what does the copyright notice at the bottom actually say? --Muhandes (talk) 17:36, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi,it looks like i have put my friends in real trouble including you and OhioStandard. He thinks that I have been impolite not telling him i have contacted you and one of editors.
Anyway: It says "Moralization and trusteeship" in bold on the top and " You are allowed to use these pictures as far as you mention the source "Mehrnews agency" at the bottom.
This is my last message to you.I really do not intend to bother anybody.Whatever you do I respect.Thank you for all your help.Thank you.--Ehsan1388 (talk) 18:23, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

My assessments

Sure. I was going to discuss this with you. The main reason for my C class assessment was that the

lead
didn't include a concise summary of the article. I think they define the topic, establish context, explain why the subject is interesting or notable but do not summarize the most important points.

Do you think your leads are adequate? Sometimes when you have worked on an article a lot it can be difficult to create a concise summary. I will try Double Island Point Light which now has a short lead. - Shiftchange (talk) 00:34, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

I agree with your assessment. From some odd reason I only do the lead when I go
GA, I should start doing it for all articles I write. I wrote one for Cleveland Point Light. Thanks for the feedback. --Muhandes (talk

catagories section already has it. why put same on see also ?

Categories: Audio amplifier manufacturers | Audio equipment manufacturers | Companies established in 1989 | Guitar amplifier manufacturers | Guitar effects manufacturing companies | Loudspeaker manufacturers | Manufacturing companies of Germany | Microphone manufacturers | Music equipment manufacturers — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gggbgggb (talkcontribs) 15:06, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Because categories have nothing to do with see also. If a list exists it should be added, as it often includes more information. --Muhandes (talk) 15:25, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

How dare you defame me by accusing me of vadalizing wikipedia.

You have no basis for making such accusations and i will not stand for it. The fact is you have no idea what you are doing and it is apparent. I was the initial author of the tanglewood country club page and i went to great lenghts to make sure the page was accurate, detailed and provided history regarding the club and current events about the club. In the saem way a wiki page on baseball or congress would includ past and present members and employees for example, i have done the same here. Your unilateral determination that such information is not relevant reveals your ignorance. It is my position that it is YOU who is vandalizing wikipedia by engaging in pointless and obstructive tactics designed to give yourself total control over information. I beleive it is important that wikipedia take a good look at your efforts and ban you from participating in wikipedia edits into perpetuity. The bottom line is that you do not know what you are doing nor what is relevant on a given page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.93.234.110 (talk) 21:47, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Please remember to log on in the future. Please remember to sign your messages. Beyond what I already said at the talk page I have nothing to say. --Muhandes (talk) 22:16, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Port Said lighthouse

Hello Regarding your notes about the page of the lighthouse of Port Said, I'd like to tell you that this was my work and that I did not ignore the citation and I think this proves my goodwill. Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fawzyano (talkcontribs) 15:05, 17 February 2011

I googled the first sentence. It came out almost identical to that website. To me this indicates a copyright violation. Looking at the article, it's just sentences form that source slightly reworded. The structure is identical. --Muhandes (talk) 13:16, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
