I am concerned that you are a

Wikipedia:Sock#Characteristics_of_sock_puppets
states:

"Not surprisingly, sock puppet accounts usually show much greater familiarity with Wikipedia and its editing process than most newcomers...or participate in procedures like Articles for deletion"

Your third edit was to add this complex template to an article: {{db|advertising, essay, OR}} In those 36 edits, you have flawlessly added and argued 2 Afds.

I have to say that, looking at the 36 edits, I would be unable to guess what the "single purpose" might possibly be!

Improving Wikipedia, by the looks of things. Would that other editors showed some inclination to do that some time. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 14:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added 4 Afds, not 2. 3 of them went quite well. I'm still not sure what I did wrong when I nominated

list of cities in Texas but I'm beginning to suspect the reaction and refusal to explain is all because of my low number of edits. Nerfari (talk) 20:58, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply

No I don't think so. If I had nominated it for deletion, the result would have been the same. Although I agree it is redundant to categories, it still satisfies the criteria for inclusion here, so there's no way it will be deleted.

A speedy keep with no explanation? Maybe. Nerfari (talk) 21:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks ClueBot next time I see a racist attack page I'll know not to replace the entire content with something else. Nerfari (talk) 21:12, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi - I have undone Cluebot and restored the {{db-atk}} tag. Cluebot is an anti-vandal system that automatically reverts large deletions. I am a bit surprised that it jumped on such a relatively small one as this. I shouldn't worry about it, because when you have a bit more of an editing record you will automatically get onto a White List of people it trusts. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:16, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Addition - you did absolutely the right thing to blank out an attack page. I tend to add the word "blanked" to show the attacker what's happened if he looks, but that's according to taste. One tip which saves a few keystrokes: {{db-atk}} works just as well. The next thing to do (which you probably would have done but for Cluebot) is to copy the warning notice from the template displayed on the page to the author's talk page. It's depressing how many attack pages there are, and it's a good and useful thing to zap them fast. Happy hunting! JohnCD (talk) 21:24, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to the page Monkey jacket constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. I bet this is another one of those things that only happen because I have a low edit count. Someone tell me how many I need before you stop treating me like a 6-year old. Nerfari (talk) 21:37, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't think it has anything to do with your edit count, but who knows? You might ask why he did it. You can delete anything on your talk page (but you might want to, at least in the future, archive, see

I knew it, it WAS a bot or something. Wikipedia:Huggle. Nerfari (talk) 22:04, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • No, Huggle isn't actually a bot, it's an automated tool which makes it easy to do things fast, but also rather easy to press the wrong button, which I guess is what happened here. I think your edit was thoroughly constructive, and I have asked Jackol why he reverted it and warned you. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:23, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've added you to the whitelist so your edits shouldn't be appearing to Hugglers like myself anymore. treelo radda 23:08, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Nerfari. You have new messages at Jackol's talk page.

User:C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition

Instead of hassling me, why don't you go take a look at what happened to User:C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition. OK they created a promotional article and I tagged it for deletion but they also said they were willing to adjust the article. I thought perhaps I could help because there do seem to be some reliable sources about it, but when I get back I find that they've been indefinitely blocked for "spam", which seems pretty fricken' brutal if you ask me. I've just added the rollback ability to your account. Hope you find it useful, but please read

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect VICTORIAN WORKING CLASS LEISURE. Since you had some involvement with the VICTORIAN WORKING CLASS LEISURE redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 06:30, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
