London Midland article change

Hi, the recent edit you made to the London Midland article with relation to the testing of the new Class 172's may be better off in the Class 172 article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_172 than in the London Midland article? My opinion only :) --Geezertronic (talk) 20:46, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

I removed it because it had already mentioned that it was a large company in the UK just before and thought it was a redundent comment.Jamesrules90 (talk) 15:50, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Stagecoach Eastbourne

Hi there, just wondering what your evidence is for the apparent Volvo B6's in the fleet? Where/when have you seen them?

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olliefpm (talkcontribs) 18:55, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

Edit war

Your recent editing history at

reverts
on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's

BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. --Charles (talk

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Abellio (London & Surrey). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Charles (talk) 21:18, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's

Please explain this - I have done two separate things, yet the computer generated message says I have done two of the same thing?? Please elaborate.--

If you add trivial details to articles which are most unlikely to have any reliable secondary source we have to assume it is original research or synthesis from multiple primary sources. You should have been around for long enough to have some comprehension of
what wikipedia is not. That kind of directory material from primary sources is subject to frequent change and is not conducive to building a stable encyclopedia. If you want to do that kind of work you may find UK Transport Wiki at Wikia a more suitable place for it.--Charles (talk

How do I create custom signatures?

Over at "My preferences", you tick the box "Treat the above as wiki markup" and key markup into the "Signature" text box. There is a gallery of signatures at User:Athaenara/Gallery which you might find helpful, but some of these do not meet the current rules at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing your signature. -- John of Reading (talk) 15:08, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 24

Hi. When you recently edited Marshall C37, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page London Transport (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
