Reviewing at Articles for creation
Hi Nizil Shah. Thank you for reviewing submissions at AFC, it's an important task and you seem to be doing it well. However, a number of your recent declines have resulted in the pages being listed at
- the article is a copyright violation
- the article is an attack page
- the article contains contraversial statements about a living person that are not supported by reliable sources
If the page is not suitable for any other reason, the correct process is to decline it and notify the author (the AFC Helperscript does this for you) so that they can work on making improvements. Cheers, Yunshui 雲水 12:47, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
- You've done this again a couple of times since I posted the above request. Please read Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Reviewing instructions, which clearly show that the above situations are the only cases where blanking the submission is appropriate. American Ninjutsu
Here I go again. I keep trying to push forward this article on Desmond Crenshaw [1], a RETIRED martial arts instructor and former military special ops guy that USED TO teach in Kentucky, southern Indiana and Ohio back in the 1980s. I make those two phrases, "retired" and "used to" bold for a reason: the guy no longer teaches, and the school is no longer open. Not even any of his students seem to be keeping his system going, so no one benefits financially in any way by this story being posted. It says that clearly in several paragraphs of the article, most notably the first and the last.
:::Why then do I keep getting censor responses that say it reads like an advertizement? Obviously, you guys are NOT reading it. If you were, you would catch all the negative stuff posted in the article about this guy and his crew.
I look at dozens of articles here, like on Bruce Tegner and Frank Dux and Iga-ryu Ninja Museum, and they lack even a quarter of the references that I've provided... yet, they are posted and up for people to see.
According to the claims listed under Wikipedia when you pull it up under a search, it is a "collaboratively edited" information source. However, I see no collaboration here. Nor anyone allowing new information to be presented. All I see are denials. complaint pages and censors that refuse to allow anything to be posted.
Collaborate with me here. Let me write and post, and then you egg-heads can add every disclaimer you want. You can change the formatting all you want where you see such as being necessary... but at least let people get the information out.

Submission of article Kadrige
Hello Nizil,
You refused the publication of the article Kadrige on the 10th of october due to copyright infrigement. All the contents where created by the company either for this article, or are available on our Facebook page and our website. Could please tell what parts of the article were concerned by the copyright infrigement so that I can edit them. Thank you very much for your feedback.

Thanks for your reply Nizil. All these articles are of my own creation (I'm the community manager of the company). How can I use the Creative Common Licence for these contents? I didn't really understand how to do it after reading the articles. Thank you very much for your help.
FYI, I got this message on my Talk page: "This is your only warning; the next time you add copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Kadrige, you may be blocked from editing without further notice"

Copy editing complete
Hi Nizil, I've completed my copy edit of Amdavad ni Gufa. I just wanted to let you know of a few of the main changes I made. First, I toned back some of the "flowery" language in order to comply with Wikipedia guidelines on tone and neutrality. It's not very encyclopedic to say a place has a magical atmosphere, though it's perfectly acceptable to say it was designed with that intent. Second, I removed the block quote about the facility's construction, which I thought went into unnecessary detail. I removed a small paragraph describing the gallery's appearance which seemed to be a bit redundant to several other sections. I also changed a few section headings. That said, I think this is a very well made article, and I'll be happy to endorse it at DYK. And you won't hurt my feelings if you revert any of these changes, which simply reflect my opinion on how to best present the article. --BDD (talk) 22:39, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the message. I have visited this temple complex on a pilgrimage about two decades back with my wife and my rakhee sister (a Jain) when I was working in Baroda. I walked up. I was simply stunned by the grandeur of the temple complex. Any changes that you wish to make in the article, please a leave the details on the article talk page with reliable reference. I will incorporate it. I also covered Jain temples in Bangalore in my article on Architecture of Karnataka about 2 years back, also a DYK.--Nvvchar. 01:24, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Bhadra Fort
Good article. Well done. I've completed a basic copy edit. I see that in some sections you have included a whole string of references. Usually two (max three) are sufficient. I would recommend you pick out the best one or two in each case. Alternatively, if they refer to different parts of the text, add them to the section to which they apply rather than listing them all at the end of a sentence or paragraph.
In any case, the article is certainly good enough now for you to put it up on the main space. Remember to call it Bhadra Fort (with a capital F for fort). --Ipigott (talk) 10:22, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
