Note that Montreal is not a unilingual English-speaking city (and Quebec is not a unilingual English-speaking province), and that is why the French translations must be kept. This is also done for the officially bilingual city of Ottawa. While articles in French about Montreal and Quebec are not a must, unless they are specific names with no English translation or usage, the French translations must be shown in the articles.

Note that this is the English Wikipedia. As always, the local/official name (in this case, French) is already provided in the Infobox. This is the standard template that is used uniformly throughout Wikipedia. There is no need to repeat the same redundant information in the body of the text.
