Thanks for the fix on the stability condition. I'm going to try to make sure the situation is more overt by casting the conditions in both forms. –Dan Hoey 20:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm a little less sure about changing the definition of stability. The two aren't equivalent without linearity. Are you sure the usual definition of stability assumes that A({c+sn}) = c+A({sn})? –Dan Hoey 22:14, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
That's what the discussion at
Talk:1 − 2 + 3 − 4 + · · · led me to believe. Without it, the argument discussed there cannot be done without regularity. But as I said, someone should look it up. I did try to change the sequence definition to match your series definition. --Ørjan 23:01, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Malbolge may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "()"s and 3 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks,

Well I think the more Wikis you can make a fool of yoursef on the better! Seriously, spotting the discrepancy in dates was a good catch & I'm very ashamed of the hash I made in correcting it.TheLongTone (talk) 23:54, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Memory space (computational resource) listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect

Memory space (computational resource). Since you had some involvement with the Memory space (computational resource) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:45, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply

Perfectly acceptable

Your edit summary said, "(Reverting vandalism on absent user's page, hope this is OK)" -- just so you know, this was perfectly acceptable. While editing a user page should be left up to the user, removing vandalism is one of the recognized exceptions to this practice. Happy editing! Etamni | ✉   10:27, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We are both differently correct!

We each looked at different things, EACH of which are wrong! Go figure!! Fiddle Faddle 00:44, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, so we are! --Ørjan (talk) 00:50, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Solving that one is complex. It cannot be solved by changing the order of the list, nor by a simple explanation, because the mouseover labels come up and confuse the reader. You are 100%% correct with the order of the pictures. I am 100% correct with the order of the labels. Neither of these orders agrees with the list the way it is stated Fiddle Faddle 00:59, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Only in the Northern Hemisphere, of course, have there not been winter Ramadans since 2010 (Not that polar night's been an issue at any permanent mosques south of the equator AFAIK). Daniel Case (talk) 08:00, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
