Welcome!

Hello, OwenReeceBaines, and

welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as SocialFire, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines
, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called

helpme
}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. March 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from

welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Nat Gertler (talk) 00:45, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply

The article SocialFire has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:PROMO
article for a website posted by the owner/CEO of site, with zero sources given for notability; "Socialfire" gets zero gnews hits.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nat Gertler (talk) 07:48, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of SocialFire for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article SocialFire is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SocialFire until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Nat Gertler (talk) 14:16, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SocialFire, you may be blocked from editing. MikeWazowski (talk) 22:15, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

AFD template

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages as you did with this edit to SocialFire.  Velella  Velella Talk   22:40, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The AFD is false. All past deletions have been declined, And the same editor is doing all the Deletion requests. It stupid that i have to put up with this. OwenReeceBaines (talk) 22:42, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is the way the deletion process works at Wikipedia; almost everything that gets deleted at AfD are things that were previously proposed for
WP:AFDFORMAT. The sort of things you've been doing - deleting AfD notices, refactoring another editor's notices - are more likely to get your account blocked and leave you powerless in the AfD discussion. --Nat Gertler (talk) 22:50, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
By the way, you may want to stop the false complaint that all of the deletion requests have come from the same editor. I am not User:MikeWazowski, nor is he me. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:26, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. —Tom Morris (talk) 23:07, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So, I blocked on the basis of the
WP:ANI if you can't resolve it with the editor in question. Removing AfD templates is not the way to answer issues with other editors though. If you want me to unblock, I'm happy to so long as you agree to not remove AfD templates, even if you believe the AfD was entered in bad faith. —Tom Morris (talk) 23:19, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
I'm fairly certain that User:JohnArmold is a sockpuppet of this account. I've extended this block to an indefinite one until this issue, along with the others mentioned above, are properly addressed by the user. --Kinu t/c 20:32, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
