If you want to discuss how an article should be changed, do it on the article's talk page. Stop using edit summaries to discuss general issues related to articles. Restrict your edit summaries to your edits. Read
I didn't mean to cause offence by reverting your edit, and it certainly isn't a rule. I just don't think it makes sense to add an end date until she's actually left the show. "2011–present" is correct until then. If you'd like to change it back I won't argue.
