Hey do u fancy a collaboration at some point. Mavis has been listified, but I think a character of her duration could have quite a decent own-standing article with real world stuff. Ivy Tilsley was listified too, and I also think she should have her own page. I wondered if you fancied working on these together at some stage? as I know u do lots of work on Corrie pages in the past.GunGagdinMoan13:45, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Great that you are on board and that you have books! Yeah, for now shall we just work on it in the list? I added some bits the other night but obviously there's loads more out there.GunGagdinMoan13:59, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That is odd, I was hoping there'd be loads! I noticed a few bits in regard to Mavis and Rita's friendship in google books, which I'll add. Maybe it's because she never had huge storylines. She was always just comic effect really if I remember correctly, and she was in it at a tiem when corrie didnt go in for the huge sensational plots, but even so, she was there 26 years so seems weird the authors didnt devote much space on her in their books. Good work though it's looking good already! Have been assignment writing but once Im done I plan to do some more to Mavis too. I think there's enough for separation already actually.GunGagdinMoan03:55, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Les Dennis used to do quite an infamous impression of Mavis on prime time TV when I was a tot. This is probably before your time. He had his own sketch show, or it was part of the Russ Abbot show or something. Cringey 80s TV. This can definitely go in a popular culture section. He used to do her catchphrase "Well, I dont really know!". I was thinking for development we can separate in to creation, then a comedy section, marriage to Derek, then a relationship with Rita plus an exit section. Gonna do some work on it today. Great work so far by the way.GunGagdinMoan13:34, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's the kind of thing that can be used in development, what do you think? Perhaps referencing something like the obvious personality differences between Mavis and Rita and how it was played out on screen, and then backing it up with source commentary? I tend to think commentary should be included in development if it can hammer home a point about characterisation. Hope you wont mind, but I did some moving around in the reception to development, as I thought some of it was better fitting there. I also wanted to make the recpetion seem less like a list of quotes etc, so tried to make it into sections of sorts with more prose, so that we can add things like accolades then how the character was received, awards etc. What do you think? I think any Les Dennis references should go in a popular culture section. I am sure I cam across a few while I was searching so I will look out for them again.GunGagdinMoan16:57, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah would love some info from the corrie books to be added about Hilda. I dont have any as EE is my usual thing, which im sure you know, but have alwasy LOVED Hilda! I always cry when I see the scene with the glasses after Stan's funeral. Yeah let's take Mavis to GA, but maybe after we know we've exhausted all sources and have done a copy edit, maybe we can ask Frickative to do a read through and copyedit as she's good at that? We definitely need to do a pop culture section too.GunGagdinMoan18:57, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, just so u know Ive replied to you on my talk page. gonna keep discussion there so as not to break up conversation in archives.GunGagdinMoan17:22, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just realised, the two quotes in the Mavis storylines may need referencing with cite episode. Any ideas when the quotes aired? GunGagdinMoan23:10, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JuneGloom has reccomended me to speak to you about anything Neighbours related, so I hope we can chat if I need anything and vice versa, so how are you likeing Neighbours so far this year?? B.Davis2003 (talk) 15:22, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replied. Also, I've merged Pam, just about to do Doug. It was a shame to lose Pam's picture, maybe we could find an image of the whole family and put that in the list? - JuneGloomTalk20:31, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know that your soap opera interests don't necessary include Eastenders - which is odd considering that you're obviously a subject-matter expert on Hollyoaks and Coronation Street (IMHO, Emmerdale is crap) - but have you considered working on the Zoe Slater and/or Michelle Ryan articles - Ms. Ryan is ridiculously hot. -- Jake Fuersturm (talk) 13:56, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Neighbours rejected by Nine network
Hello!
Just wondered if you had any sources to back up that Neighbours was rejected by Nine Network? Someone's disputing this on the Neighbours talk page and saying that the Herald Sun isn't a good enough source, I think because no other source is reporting this? She's also changed the wording in the article to reportedly rejected and reverted me when I changed it back. --5 albert square (talk) 11:53, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
82.38.40.102
82.38.40.102 is Tomjovanovic's IP. He's just come off a block for doing exactly what he's doing atm. I'm not sure whether he should be reported to AIV now or be given warnings about content removal first. What do you think? - JuneGloomTalk21:46, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi June, looking at that I see that Tomjovanovic is indef blocked. It might be worth reporting that to
Hey, the IP has already been taken to SPI, which is why they were blocked. I was just wondering whether I could take them to AIV now or will they need to be warned about content removal first? - JuneGloomTalk22:05, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear, the edits are just the same. Very disruptive. Maybe you should report him as the edits are exactly the same as before - Very unhelpful and limited to changing infobox data.Rain the 1BAM22:13, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've warned him because the last 'official' warning was a month ago. I've warned him for blanking stuff on Rosemary King. If you want I'll keep an eye on the IP and block them if they do it again.--5 albert square (talk) 22:16, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just thought I'd get your opinion on whether or not you think it's worthwhile updating the image for Callum Jones again? I notice it's a year since it was last changed, I was watching Neighbours today and notice that he does seem to have changed slightly but not sure if it's enough to merit a new image? So thought I'd ask your opinion. If you think it is enough I was going to offer to replace it over the next few days as I'm also going to be working on the image for Callum Stone :)--5 albert square (talk) 22:29, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think it should be updated as he looks older now - plus the old images can be deleted too. You could also argue that the new image would be reduced in quality.Rain the 1BAM22:48, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Morgan seems to have had a bit of a growth spurt on us bless him. It's either that or the worry of trying to remember his mum has aged Callum :). OK, I'll do that over the next few days :)--5 albert square (talk) 23:15, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've always rather liked Callum's image. I don't think a slight change in height is reason enough for a new one, he still looks the same to me. Now Toadie on the hand needs a new image, as Ryan has lost a lot of weight. - JuneGloomTalk23:20, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm proad of Toadie's weight loss, he looks so much better. I liked the line Oliver said "Wheres the rest of Toadie gone?"...
Anthony Quinlan
Hey! Do you have any idea what's going on here? Someone seems pretty invested in removing the image from this article, but I wouldn't know the subject from Adam. Is it really "not a true likeness"? (Can a photograph of someone fail to be a "true likeness" of themselves?!) I'm a little baffled. Frickative19:06, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea why they want it removed - It is him so why they say he doesn't look like that baffles me. The editor is just disruptive and not very helpful.Rain the 1BAM19:16, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Rain! Doing all this reading up on Ken has reminded me of what a big deal the Free Deirdre campaign was back in the late '90s. I think there might be a nice little storyline article in there, so I'm going to shore up some sources and see what happens. I know most of the Corrie books were published too early to touch on it, but I thought it would be worth asking whether it's mentioned in any you have access to? Cheers! 33 Saxon Avenue
I don't suppose you know any of the other H&A house numbers and road names? The Summer Bay article just calls the houses by the name of whoever is living there and it would look a lot a better if the sections had the correct names. - JuneGloomTalk16:42, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It should be, Charlie has only lived with Leah and Angelo. Angelo & Co live next door to the Austins, in real life 33 Whale Beach Road is where The Austin house is located, 31 Whale Beach Road is where Angelos really is. So it should be safe to assume Angelo's is 31 Saxon Avenue, right?Rain the 1BAM17:21, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case you didn't see, Mario's sock added two new character's to the Hollyoaks 2011 list. I cleaned them up, but I don't know if they should be in the Others list to begin with or not. - JuneGloomTalk20:57, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JuneGloom07 request we have no further communication, so I would like to ask you the following question, on a revert edit by that user. I added some new news on Neighbours ratings for 2011, my source was from TV Tonight, a specific site that gets all the national ratings and news from around Australia. JuneGloom07 has since reverted my edit, and claims their source is more reliable, yet the source I provided was from a site dedicated to gathering Australian TV ratings. I would just like you to look into it, and see why my source was not as good as JuneGlooms07. B.Davis2003 (talk) 13:09, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did not revert your edit at all and I did not mention my ref was more reliable. I cleaned up the sentence and provided a ref that specifically mentioned how many viewers watched Neighbours (rather than a list readers have to scroll through). I'd quite like to see less TV Tonight refs being used in the article as it is essentially a blog. I'm female btw, so you don't have to call me "their", a "her" would do nicely. ;) - JuneGloomTalk21:57, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah TV Tonight is a blog at the end of the day, it is fine as a last resort if there is no alternative, interviews they do are also good.. but when a better source is around, it should be encouraged editors chose the one the community would likely find more legit.. but that isn't saying the team who run it aren't good, because I think there is a well respected fella in Aus who posts there.. right?Rain the 1BAM00:23, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok! Thanks for that guys :) I'll most likley still upload info, using TV Tonight at the refs, but If you guys find others, I understand now :)B.Davis2003 (talk) 04:54, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll still use TV Tonight too, especially if they get an exclusive or break a certain story first (like Scott McGregor leaving Neighbours) or there is no other source. Just a reply to your (B.Davis) other point, I try to keep my edit summaries short (you don't get that much room anyway) and I guess sometimes they don't fully explain what I've done and why (which is why talk pages exist I suppose). So everything I said above, was what I wanted to put in the edit summary really. I'll try and word it better next time. - JuneGloomTalk23:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am inviting you to take a look at this GAR. It need more outside opinion and the internal editors and myself have ended up in some kind of dispute. Basically I renominated because on a few occasions I have felt the use of fansite sources in a GA is not okay. However they maintain the stance they are okay in this GA. So an another outside look in addition to Nikkimaria would be good. I asked you because I noticed you had done some work there previously, and you have helped on FAC, and they are suggesting it should be nominated for FA on the articles talk.Rain the 1BAM22:15, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The dispute is very wordy isn't it? It looks like everyone has the best intention, but people are getting a bit frustrated. There's nothing really nasty going on, but it looks quite wearisome. I'll take a longer, closer look at the sources when I get more time. The Writing style section did catch my eye as I scrolled down, as it starts with "Many readers praised....", which is a bit
weasely, and then makes some quite specific claims which are sourced to one site. As the site is an interview that should be OK, but I'll look into what the guidelines are, and then get back to you. SilkTork *YES!23:14, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply
Sorry I've not had time to get to grips with the GAR. I have looked a couple of times, but it needs a period of clear focus. Hopefully I'll get around to it shortly. SilkTork *YES!22:55, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've looked at the article several times now, and left comments. I feel there needs to be more work done to get the article to meet GA criteria. You need to archive all of the Hollyoaks news/cast pages now as Holy Soap is closing. I don't know if they're moving everything to the new site, so it's better to be safe than sorry. If you look at closely, Toadies text wasn't exactly copied word for word, and I removed the odd thing that was exclusive to Sonya.. besides my intention of doing that mostly the same is to drain the info on the sham marriage and to combine it with new info for the Steph section. That will have to wait now though... Is it okay if I archive google cache's of certain Holy Soap pages? Can we do that? (Bare in mind as the site no longer exists, most links will disappear from search results, so the caches wont be there..) Maybe they are going to focus soley on their own soaps now. Sorry I have given you that impression, I do not want to annoy you nor do I want my articles to be called "hit and miss" or "jokes". However, I have to disagree about Leanne's article, its one of the better HO articles, a lot of info, detailed. Sure the storylines need new stuff added to them, but it's better than articles such as Riley's and Carl's, which I did NOT create.--AcidBrights (talk) 07:34, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I do still love that second quote, lol. The first one could be interesting to readers, I guess, it's just not particularly so to me given that most of the cast shadow a real medic first. Is there anything else possibly hook-y that I'm forgetting about? Frickative15:43, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You do not have to answer to anyone on Wikipedia because you are not part of our community. We do not need a vandal messing with articles. We also do not need insults.RaintheOneBAM15:27, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
God I tell you what some people. You remind me of Janine Butcher! She won't go away and yet no-one likes her (Well I do, she's awesome!) ..
I'm not sure if you've actually asked me not to create new articles in the past, although you have expressed your displeasure at much of my contributions. I know that you're trying to fill pages with lots of quotes and sources and I respect that. But I fail to see how I'm in any way hindering you. When I first stumbled across the Home and Away pages, they were in a terrible state, filled with almost word for word descriptions of recent events and no real sense of a character's history. (Indeed, some are still like that: I looked at Angelo's page when he left and grimaced to see no mention of his first six months on the show or his relationship with Belle and lengthy paragraphs describing single episodes.) I took it upon myself to give a better idea of exactly what a character did and also to focus on the completely overlooked early/middle period characters. And it's taken me a long time to get through them all, partly because I've been distracted working on a fan site, but I'm still determined to finish it. I'm sorry if that spoils your enjoyment but I fail to see how you couldn't simply add the information you'd gathered to the article I created. Instead you got rid of it, so I don't suppose you've got a problem anymore. Skteosk (talk) 15:36, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry if I made it more difficult for you to get a DYK nomination, I don't really know all the ins and outs of how Wikipedia works. But, although you say my storyline recaps are helpful, I really don't see any other way for me to help other than what I'm doing, it seems to be a case of either I post them or I do nothing. I probably shouldn't have mentioned this because I've been trying to remain vaguely anonymous (the fact I use the name skteosk on IMDb and YT as well doesn't help) but I've actually written a few profiles for Back to the Bay. Skteosk (talk) 17:10, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I get what you're saying but that doesn't really give me any options other than "do what we do or don't do anything", so doesn't really answer my point. Skteosk (talk) 08:29, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
When you create a new article for a fictional character, just make sure it has some real world content. A couple of reliable sources will most likely stop the article from being redirected or deleted straight away. You can then build upon it later. This is why the yearly cast lists are good. You can build up the info and sources within the list, before splitting the section off. - JuneGloomTalk14:24, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
WP:AIV if they have vandalised after a final warning. Rain, I meant to mention the signature thing earlier. It currently links to another user's talk page, so you might need to have a play around with it. - JuneGloomTalk15:49, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply

Holy Soap - Part 2
You archived the last section, before I got a chance to mention this. But the Neighbours news section on the new site is up to thirteen pages and counting, so we have news items from late 2010 now. I've been correcting some links as I go along, but there isn't a real hurry. The last time I looked, H&A only had six pages of news items, but you might want to check to see if any of Nicole's refs are now available. There's also a couple of Liam interviews that would be good for his page. Oh, Susan K's image has now been changed and updated by the user who edit warred with you. It's not bad, but I'm sure you could have done better. :) - JuneGloomTalk14:12, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Good news! I changed the Nicole links last week - thankfully they restored the plot dread one. News of The World website went down, but I don't think they really reported on Neighbours. Btw, what are you using for Work and Publisher fields when citing the new Channel 5 site?RaintheOneBAM14:35, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't remember seeing any news about Neighbours in the NOTW and we haven't got any links in the articles. I'm putting Channel 5 in the work field and Northern & Shell in the publisher for now. - JuneGloomTalk15:47, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lol they must have though the code they used would make the image show up. More so their mentality is laughable, how tiny was that image, would have looked stupid streched out. BTW I think the quality of Sooz's image is too fine, and the image name is wrong. I guess I'll just have to find a new one. A better one. ^_^RaintheOneBAM17:52, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No. It's not really fair to post a person's profile here. Just wait, I'll ask again in a day or two. Hello, Raintheone. Yes, I remember you. And yes, I will probably be editing some soap opera articles this time around too. Could you please give my some feedback for my changes to the Alf Roberts article? And maybe also some suggestions for further improvement? Dodgechris (talk • contributions) 22:58, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks about the article. I was just wondering would you say that the Lee, Leanne and Amy storyline was just Leanne becoming obsessed and a rivalry or would you say it was a love triangle. Because I thought it was just the rivalry, but seeing the recent ds interview with Alex Carter there was references that it is a love triangle. But to be honest, I don't think it is a love triangle, thats not the way I look at it. What do you think though?--AcidBrights (talk) 13:04, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just looked at it. Much better I have to say, very pleased - I think there may have been something on the love square in Inside Soap. As you may have noticed, from the storyline update, in this weeks episodes it was discovered Ethan had been seeing Rae Wilson aswell.
New articles
Okay, so I thought I would start a new section as it could get quite long. I have been looking on the Hollyoaks character list and do you think we should discuss whether some new articles should be created or not? The characters i've been thinking we should discuss are Doug, Jamil, Ethan, Ruby, Esther and Pete.--AcidBrights (talk) 13:31, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Jamil should not as he hasn't had his own storyline apart from the blink and you miss Lanika thing. Which didn't get that much coverage. Esther has nothing really. Ethan, Ruby and Pete are the ones with the most potential for an article.RaintheOneBAM15:05, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It might be a good idea to add some more info to the lists for now. Pete is going to get involved with Amy so there may be more info on him then. Maybe do a test on Ethan to see how much info we can get for him atm.RaintheOneBAM16:00, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, i've just got one more question. Do you think Diane O'Connor's storylines should contain about sinead and bart and her banning them from seeing each other. I think it should be as the character has been involved throughout.--AcidBrights (talk) 17:26, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case you're not watching it, I believe there are four outstanding issues that need to be dealt with before this article can be listed as a GA. I've listed them
Hey Rain, I'm sorry for pretty much disappearing on you last month (it's been a painfully busy summer). I do keep chipping away at the Sahira draft, and the list of unused sources is slowly starting to look far less mammoth. In case you didn't guess from the section header, I've come to be cheeky and ask if you could possibly scan/photograph an Inside Soap interview if you have it :).
Lulu Hutchison, and I've mentioned my concern about the notability guidelines, but I know there was a full page interview with the actress in the 19 July issue of Inside Soap. So if you have that, it would be really brilliant if you could drop it on the talk page whenever you have the time. Of course, no worries if not! And I don't know whether you noticed, but I dropped a few sources off at Dan Hamilton—couple of which are probably useless, but one is a really useful, insightful interview with Astill on Dan's sexuality and creation, which was a nice find. W&L
Keep hold of any character refs you find and we can think about creating some articles for the girls. I've already started a Jenny one offline and I have a great TV Week article for the Bec/Doug/Sophie triangle (which also mentions the other girls' relationships too). I think we might need to find some reception for the main article, as it's looking a bit bare at the moment. - JuneGloomTalk23:33, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Great, will do. I hope there is info about on Sophie's stalker plot. Would reception like the telegraph calling Vallejo the standout actress be of any use to the article?RaintheOneBAM23:42, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think there was anything about Sophie's stalker, it mainly focused on Bec and Doug getting together. Think I'll have to buy this weeks TV Week though - look at the cover. I think you can add the info about Vallejo. I'll have a look for that copy of OK!, I did notice it when I was gathering sources for Jenny. Btw, have you seen/read the official W&L presskit - [10]? - JuneGloomTalk13:18, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow that is a hero! How do we archive that? I've downloaded it for safe keeping. How would you set the ref out for that? No wait! I have more questions. David Knox's review [11] and Author/Journo Karen Brooks's review [12] - would you use them?RaintheOneBAM13:31, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also because I'm such a dizzy kinda guy - I don't get this article I want to use. [13] - I think he is ripping into Jenny, but is he praising her in parts or just being mean? The first paragraph about the show having relatable characters is what I want to use. But it made me think, is he being sarcastic about that or not?RaintheOneBAM13:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I used the presskit as a reference in Dylan Timmins' article. I think you can use the two reviews, but be careful with Brooks' one. She's made a couple of mistakes in it, like confusing Frances and Bec. As for the SMH article, the writer is being quite sarcastic throughout and he's basically saying Jenny is a cliche fat girl and the writers have stuck to the rules, so to speak, in her portrayal (unlike the writers of The Vicar of Dibley). - JuneGloomTalk14:22, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be able too. I don't have enough spare time atm, maybe if any are there in the future I'll take a look - keep up the good work though, looks great. :).RaintheOneBAM02:09, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Interviews
Hiya. I know this is a really big ask and if you dont want to do it thats totally fine, but I was wondering if you could email me some scans of interviews involving the Silas storyline? Mainly ones for the Texas (January 2011) Jenny (April 2011) plots if thats ok. Any interviews that Jeff has down or anybody else involved in it would be great.--AcidBrights (talk) 12:06, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you disappear to? I've completed a Miles/Leah section, shall I add it to the sandbox? I also found an interview with Josh Quong Tart that has some great characterisation info in it, which I've already added. - JuneGloomTalk22:54, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think I'll add some tomorrow or tonight depending how long I stay up. Gonna watch W&L in a bit though. I was going to have the last three eps for one go, but when I showed my sister that TV week cover saying "Shock exit" - she said otherwise. lolRaintheOneBAM23:38, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure if you've seen, but this week's Inside Soap has an interview with Chelsea Halfpenny. She talks about her audition for Amy. - JuneGloomTalk20:13, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Silas
I'm doing improvements to his article in my sandbox and I am a bit confused about what to do when it comes to names in development section. In India Longford's murder section, all of the sources either mention Silas as 'Cameron' or 'attacker' so what should I put when i'm writing about what happens in development section?--AcidBrights (talk) 07:55, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice sorry. So I would think as it is from Silas' point of view you would just stay with Silas in each instance. Though like in India's article, Cameron would be used up until the point of her murder.RaintheOneBAM13:48, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know I love it too, and i've seen that video i'm so intrigued and excited, its going to be thrilling. I tell you Jeff (Silas) and Karen (Lynsey) are amazing, i've been on the edge of my seat! :)--AcidBrights (talk) 20:57, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How are you, just wondering what are you thoughts on making a series overview table for Neighbours, eg: Seasons, episode count, season return, finale dates, and what network/ time slot they have been.... Just want to run by you first, see what you think. B.Davis2003 (talk) 07:55, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. I'm not sure that will really help the general reader though. As it is an encyclopedia, that sort of thing is usually home on a fansite, letting fans know when the series is returning and ending.. etc.. Also I think it would be list cruft, there is already enough material on Neighbours. So I don't think it is a good idea. :)RaintheOneBAM14:07, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Forgot to check back here and say thank you guys. I just had to revert a user on the Trevor St. John article. I believe this is a sockpuppet of Dane97. It appears that no matter how many times we block him, he will keep returning as a new user.
Whether it's him or another person, I must say that I do not understand how people can act as though St. John never portrayed Todd Manning simply because his character was revealed as an impostor.
They've just had a free run on articles for long time, so I guess they think poorly written articles are the norm. Almost everyone but a select few know the importance of citing their sources too. It shows on Todd's talk that they think anything can have an article.. As for the IP, we'll keep a close eye on them. If Dane did continue to sock, there is a number of avenues that can be taken to ensure it stops. It depends on the status of his actual IP though. I've added St. John to my ever growing watchlist. :PRaintheOneBAM22:32, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's frustrating. This is what I was telling you about American editors who edit soap opera articles here. Not sure if you guys have the same problem to this extent with British soap opera articles. Thank you again.
We still do - just not to the same extent as it used to be. Victor's article has been created again by an IP hopper. Though nothing can be done to prevent them at this time. I've added more characters to the other table, but I'm taking it slow. lolRaintheOneBAM01:34, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, I requested full-protection without knowing that it's already on semi-protection. I overlooked that it was semi-protected, since I could edit it and didn't notice a lock at the right-hand corner. I thought it'd been full-protected and figured that wore off. You could have told me it was already protected so that I wouldn't have looked silly, LOL.
Ha - Sorry, I misread your comment. I assumed you wanted full protection incase registered users kept reverting. Atleast the activity's died down a little. Though Tea is off full protection so we may need to keep a watchful eye there. :)RaintheOneBAM23:15, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did want full-protection, but I didn't know the article was already semi-protected. That's why I was declined -- already semi-protected. The administrator said to give that a try first. As I'm sure you already know, since you're watching the article, Todd Manning is off full-protection as well. So, yeah, we definitely need to be ready for more of the same disruption at both articles.
I understand what you're saying about boxes being cluttered, however, I don't believe that what I changed or removed was cluttering the box, I've read guidelines for that template used, and it specifies that labels shouldn't be used unless actually needed, which is why I removed the label "daughter" from her daughter's name, I also removed the additional two step-children, because Tea isn't married to Todd, she's married to Victor, which means Starr & Jack aren't her step-children. When it comes to marriages, all I did was make the font smaller, I don't think that was cluttering the box. From the looks of it, the box looks more cluttered now then it did when I made those minore changes.--Nk3play2my buzz05:09, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To Answer Your Question...
Yes, I will be working on the article and won't abandon it like I did with the 1985 character list. And every time I've put up perfectly credible sources in the past it's come into question and been ultimately removed. And as 5 Albert Square and June suggested I may just move this back to the userspace after a realisation. I thought I could bnag it out quicker than I could.

In regards to the above, do you fancy collaborating on a couple of characters at some point? I really want to tackle Holly Barton and Lisa Dingle (and eventaully Charity and Chas), who are you interested in? - JuneGloomTalk17:17, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to post there in a second. From your suggestions Holly will be an easy one to complete because she's fairly new and the amount of info from the Barton's creation and her druggie plot. One I've been looking at before this was Laurel. Do you watch Emmerdale btw?RaintheOneBAM17:24, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I do watch the show, though it's not my favourite. I am worried that we maybe the only editors who are willing to do anything about the problem. I don't think we can improve all the articles by ourselves and keep up with the articles already on our watchlists/to-do lists. - JuneGloomTalk17:45, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I watched it up until 2007 and it went downhill. I watched it when Aaron came out for about two months, but most of the characters were still boring. I watch it on and off now on ITV 2, because Hollyoaks is on at 7 on E4. :p So I'll probably be more interested in improving older characters. I bet we are the only two aswell! I'll ask AC and Danny if they fancy helping. I used to concentrate on HO/Neighbours .. then Home and Away crept in, I started helping Corrie again, bits and bobs for EE... Helping One life to live... now Emmerdale. Aside from this i have to watch H&A, Neighbours, EE, Corrie and Hollyoaks everyday! I'll have no life. LOLRaintheOneBAM17:57, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've watched the show for years, though I admit I have gotten bored of it. I keep looking at the cast list and changing my mind about who to help first. Page move
Hello
Regarding the page move for Natasha Williams, I'm not sure that would be possible. There is already a page there of that name, even if the other person is not that notable we can't just delete her from the encyclopedia. What we can do is move her to another page name, set up a disambiguation page at Natasha Williams and have the Neighbours character stay where she is? If you want me to do that please let me know, however, I'm currently not very active during the week owing to working 11 hour shifts most days so it may be next weekend before I can do anything--5 albert square (talk) 21:17, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Naah it's fine. There should be a disam for these though - given that for some odd reason the clearly notable American actress has no article - that should be created. I was obviously aware about what we can do.. Just happens that I think that is unfair.RaintheOneBAM22:56, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you removed loads of unsourced villains from the list. I was wondering if you could do me a favour and list all the ones you removed on User:AnemoneProjectors/Villains, as I didn't want to lose any names in case I could find sources in the future. I was checking for sources before removing names as well - once I had gone through the whole list I was going to go for FL status! So if you have time, I'd appreciate that. I'd do it myself but I don't think I do have the time right now :( –anemoneprojectors– 10:36, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll do it yeah. If I find any sources I'll remove them from the list. Beware some of the american ones are probably the good guys. There are supercouple articles for characters that have only looked at each other sweet. I wouldn't put it past half of those additions being added because the characters have slapped another one.RaintheOneBAM02:07, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lol. When I first saw the list, Gail Robinson was on it for marrying Paul Robinson twice. Lyn was also on there because she ruined Rebecca and Paul's wedding and Hilary was there because she ruined Paul's wedding to Gail! [16] - JuneGloomTalk12:36, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There's a big difference between doing bad things and being a villain! Michael and Yusef in EE are definite villains because they're sly and manipulative but I don't think Max Branning is one... he's listed as one because he was nominated for some award but I think he's only there for the affair with Stacey! So yeah, some people are definitely there for the wrong reasons! Definitely needed to get rid of all the unsourced ones. Thanks. –anemoneprojectors– 14:02, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
See if you come across any socks of User:Theunknownnun could you please request checkuser when filing the SPI? Just every single time we come across a sock with this user we also seem to find sleepers!
One of the sleepers Checkuser found on the last request uploaded the image to Jacqueline Jossa's page. I asked HJ Mitchell to take a look at the image and he's in agreement with me - he thinks it looks like a copyvio. I googled it before and I did find it on websites like Facebook, am starting to think that the editor simply copied and pasted the image from there and wrongly uploaded it on Commons giving it a false certificate to say it's free when it's not. I've asked him to look and see if the editor that uploaded the image to Commons is related to the one that actually added it to the article.
Yeah, sure - I'll remember to do that. You know what, I've always wondered about that image actually. It really looks like a personal photo and not a member of the publics.RaintheOneBAM00:04, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah me too, I just assumed she had given permission for it. To me it looks like an image that would belong maybe to whichever agency she's with. It looks too posed, like she's purposely taken the time to pose for it. That to me smacks of an image that would belong to an agency or the media. Thought it was best to get a second opinion on the image from someone that doesn't know Jac Jossa or EastEnders lol and best to play safe rather than have the risk of JJ sue us for copyright!!--5 albert square (talk) 00:34, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey
I was wondering if you could have anoter check off Silas's article in my sandbox, just to see what you think so far, I know i'm taking a long time on it, but I want it to be really good and want to make sure nothing is wrong or unsuitable. Thanks--AcidBrights (talk) 18:48, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all of your comments thats a big help, and thank you for the scan aswell. Thanks about the Leyla article, I may need some scans soon, but not yet, if thats okay with you. :)--AcidBrights (talk) 13:31, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to bother you but the Darren/Nancy interview was actually an article about Tyler Moon :P Think you uploaded the wrong one, do you have the other?D4nnyw14 (talk) 18:46, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
:O
OMG, I was shocked at Rae's murder, well played by Alice and Jeff! I was just wondering now with the whole Brendan/Rae thing now involved with Silas how should I manage the sections should I have a section which says 'Feud with Brendan Brady' and mention the Rae and Lynsey stuff because its going to be confusing.--AcidBrights (talk) 17:09, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So basically do a Rae Wilson's murder section and write about all the later stuff and theresa just add it about rae more, than do i put Lynsey's storyline from this week under the section and brendan yes?--AcidBrights (talk) 17:36, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have any links for sayin Theresa doesn't get murdered and Rae did (apart from DS interview) cos I want to get them together before I start writing anything.--AcidBrights (talk) 09:17, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm back!
Hey! Just read your message from April (has it really been that long?!) Sorry I've not been so active, I've been so busy and usually just edit without signing in these days. I'm determined to help though, some of the Corrie articles are horrendously out of date! Alex250P (talk) 12:40, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Michaela
Was this the interview you meant? How would i go about quoting it etc? Tbh not much in the way of sources for her appearance so should we remove on image?D4nnyw14 (talk) 19:58, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I usually include that sort of stuff in the casting, when the info is minimal. Though, If you are including his accident, announcing his temp departure, anything on Dane filling his place, then his evenutal return to work. Then I'd say that would give it a good stand alone section.RaintheOneBAM16:51, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha, thanks. I also changed my mind a few times. I might see if I can expand the casting info a bit more and then move the temp departure info down. I'm currently working on a family section for Natasha's article, I want to get that added before her aunt appears. Have you seen Darren Stark's article? The whole casting section is based on two refs from fansites. It has to go. Looks like we'll have to stick the article on our to-do lists. ;) - JuneGloomTalk22:50, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder.. who on earth added those fansites.. lol I always fancied doing his article. I like the Stark family. The weird thing is I always think I've revamped Cheryl's article, until I click it and go "Oh yeah, must have forgot about that." I bet there is something in the fairfax archive for those. I'll look probably tomorrow now though. :) Btw, trying to get a free Roz image because they havent got a Holly one. :)RaintheOneBAM01:46, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, well i've been watching Days of our Lives since early August, and I love it, so i've been watching past episodes, and got up to date on past/present and future storylines. Some time soon I will start editing the character articles as some of them are really poor and i am starting to gather info about each character so I have a lot to use when I do start.--AcidBrights (talk) 15:41, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, well i'm hoping that there will be no problems. Yeah, Chloe has been forced into prostitution recently and John's returning soon. Stefano is always brilliant.--AcidBrights (talk) 15:50, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
For all you're amazing work on the Hollyoaks articles and how helpful you've been to me since i've started. You're also really helpful with adding sources and images to articles and are just generally really helpful so thanks :) D4nnyw14 (talk) 16:22, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Darren
Sorry to have to bother you, again, but would it need to be sourced for Darren wearing fake tan even though it had explicitly been stated in episodes before hand cos all i can find is sources for the tanning sesh with Doug and would family go in relationships or new section? I'm still planning to add wig stuff to Michaela just been sidetracked D4nnyw14 (talk) 20:34, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ooo, thanks for the Barnstar. :) If there isn't any more sources on Darren wearing fake tan then it probably isn't notable enough for a mention. Stuff to do with appearance usually fits into the characterisation section.RaintheOneBAM21:21, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah i know. I thought it should go in but if it can't be sourced i'll leave it. I meant would a new section for family go under relationships or go under a complete new development section?D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:34, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry having a blonde moment. You can start a family section if there is enough info. I only merge it into relationships when there is too little to talk about.RaintheOneBAM22:46, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hollyoaks: Animated appeared yesterday and the creator of the youtube vids has basically made it. It's not notable and some don't even get 100 views. I've nominated for deletion is there anything else we can do before then? Like to get it deleted faster or should we just redirect it? It's no way affiliated to c4 or hollyoaks and is complete fanfic and looks stupid D4nnyw14 (talk) 17:59, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It will get deleted if no one contests it. I'm sure an admin will notice it is written like an advertisement and non notable. Don't think there is a faster way than speedy deletion. Though I know some admins can "nuke" pages. Lets wait and see. Thanks for the Rae advice too, I'll also look to see if there are any other characterisation refs... if not I'll nominate it.RaintheOneBAM18:16, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Realised could use speedy deletion so ignore this. I've looked for Rae refs for characterisation and there seem to be non at all. Non from tabloids or anywhere reallyD4nnyw14 (talk) 18:18, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
User is ridiculous. How insane do you need to be to think an article about a youtube video series that doesn't even get 100 views sometimes is noteworthy enough to need a list of cast page and then separate pages for it! It's his own work and is trying to self promote but it's pissing me off. Users like this that don't even reply on talk pages are nothing but annoying vandals.D4nnyw14 (talk) 18:45, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
When I'm done with the Xfactor, I'll see if we can get all of this shifted. I agree - it pisses me off too. They all need nuking and the editor dealt with.RaintheOneBAM18:59, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for making me smile on the 'Animated' talk page. I agree so much. It shouldn't be so easy for people to add bullshit but if new pages had to be passed it'd take forever.D4nnyw14 (talk) 19:01, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, i've just finished Rae's section on Silas's article. I am doing an other storylines one (including where he was palnning to strangle Nancy) and I was wondering if you have think link to a Hollyoaks teaser video where Silas was talking about Mercedes and then walking up behind her) as I want to put that in about the candle stick and Jen Metcalfe's comment about it in an interview with ds.--AcidBrights (talk) 18:19, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Rain! If you get chance tonight, could you please take a look at the GAN for Ollie? There are just a couple of small wording issues to take care of, but my connection is being temperamental as hell (think standing on one leg by the window to get a signal haha) but I really need to finish up a copyedit elsewhere I promised would be done by Sunday. If not, no worries, I'll get on it when I'm out of the wilderness and not being disconnected every 5 minutes. Cheers! Frickative23:55, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
He's just come straight off a block and started making exactly the same edits that he was blocked for. I think AIV is a better place to report him. I'll go reply to your message on my talk page. - JuneGloomTalk22:55, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why he admitted it IDK - he cannot think he can stay now, I mean it is not like he changed his ways either. Still as opposed to the guidelines as he ever was.RaintheOneBAM20:10, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just noticed that Sunset Beach AFD. If you check Sarah G. Buxton's page, I think you can use the fourth ref for Annie's article. I'm not doing anything at the moment, so I might take on Virginia if I can find some sources. - JuneGloomTalk19:26, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, i'm planning to redo the whole article in my sandbox, as the one in the main space just keeps getting random edits which are unreferenced etc. Yea, i'm planning to do every section for every character, it may take me a while but I have till basically the end of the year if need be, because I don't think any of the newer characters will have their own articles, unless they have really big storylines.--AcidBrights (talk) 20:31, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She replied to me too - and wanted to know if we are working together. I'll just not reply lol - did you mention to her that she will be cropped out? I'll put them on the crop list and when they are added to articles, you can link her too them. (She did say she wanted to see where they are going didn't she?)RaintheOneBAM16:51, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh Danny, you've named the images "with fan" - :p Fan won't be present for much longer. Anyway, they're in the request spot now. Eeeeeek, loving the gallery.RaintheOneBAM18:16, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We can request name changes later. I did for Jack cos i named it something really long by accident. Why haven't Karen Hassan and Carley Stenson been done?D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:46, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It says not to ask for too many at once. So one editor has done some, but left Carley for someone else. Didn't ask for Karen sorry. I might wait a few days and We'll get every image there named correctly, I think there are more with long names. Though if you want to you can request.RaintheOneBAM21:54, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what's gone wonky here, Rain, but I've taken the template off. I've just had the same thing with File:AbraDurant.JPG, which is obviously not orphaned either. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's something to do with the pages moving back and forth, but I don't know why that would throw up false 'orphaned' errors =/. Frickative10:56, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How strange is that. When I first clicked my talk page, I went crazy because I thought the same was happening like with Ollie's pic! Then read your message. I just moved all those pages back, didn't even see the point in waiting. :)RaintheOneBAM12:47, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Rae Wilson
Hi. I noticed a few issues in the lead which I applied corrections to. There was also a case of "it's" being used where "its" should have been. Just wanted to bring this to your attention, as you may want to keep an eye out for these things (I notice it's nominated for GA). -- James26 (talk) 05:04, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou James, I shall make a bigger effort to combat those errors in future. I do often misplace punctuation and make some grammatical errors, probs my worst flaw on here. I manage to notice most these days though.RaintheOneBAM15:01, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Silas
I'm doing Silas's storylines now and what can I say about that thing with Mercedes when he was walking up behind her with the candle stick, he was going to murder/hurt her right?--AcidBrights (talk) 20:20, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Was wondering should Terry the dog be put into recurring. He has his own cast profile and i'm sure Jaci Stephens commented on him the other day so we could give him a table entry. Speaking of dogs we now have a Hollie-Jay pic (Jk i love Hollie-Jay and Michaela).D4nnyw14 (talk) 20:40, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That is good news, why does it look different on the upload page though? Like the usual info is not there. As for Terry, non of include pets unless they become notable like Bouncer in Neighbours and Wellard in EE. Dogs like Eccles, Terence and co have profiles sometimes, but just get discarded here. So I wouldn't worry about it.RaintheOneBAM20:57, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Although i don't know if you'll know but i thought i'd ask you first. Do you know why the template thingy you add to a page in the wikiproject comes up as NA-class for redirects (e.g. [23]) but on EE's redirects they are added to the catergory automatically and come up as redirect e.g. ([24]).D4nnyw14 (talk) 18:40, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know, I was just coming to tell you!!! They actually used the crop aswell. You know what the means though, someone there actually checks the wikipages!!!RaintheOneBAM18:16, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Another if you'd be so kind. Surprised how many big names were missing the WPHO banner on their character pages like Justin Burton and Gordon Cunningham etc. Think i've got them all now but no 100% but should be done soon.D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:05, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. The lists are really bad but the past cast is awful. Im trying to improve it and remove some minor characters any chance you could go through the 2008-2010 section and remove any you think should be removed? I've done most (not done 2011 yet) but i find it hard to decide who deserves to be there or not. ThanksD4nnyw14 (talk) 22:10, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Two questions are either Russ or Silas notable for their own sections on Mercedes page and do you remember when this part of the HIV sl took place? Thanks D4nnyw14 (talk) 15:24, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mercy's birthdate is 3 November 1983, i think the IP got confused as recently in an interview (think im using it as a source and the quote from it) Metcalfe said Mercedes has had 3 weddings which is some going for a 25 year old but Metcalfe is probably wrong, i doubt she remembers everything about Mercedes. Should we add the correct birthdate in? We could change the quote and either remove the for a 25 year old bit or change the age? D4nnyw14 (talk) 14:59, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nana Moon GA
I was looking at Nana Moon, could it reach GA, after that extremely 'in depth' review of Rainie, and the pass of Dotty and Yusef, I guess it cold be plausible. I would have to do all the publishing details first- comments?
My Comments? Cool. I think you shouldn't nominate Nana Moon at all - it is a poor article, worse than Manda Best's. I'll give you one thing though, your GA's have been lucky - some of us around here have to jump through several thousand hoops before we have our work promoted to GA.RaintheOneBAM21:43, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was a little surprised at Rainie's review and if I didn't have better things to do, I'd probably take it to
WP:GAR. Manda's review was somewhat better, though the reviewer made some incorrect suggestions. This is an expample of a good review - [25]. The reviewer was great and the article totally benefitted from that review. It's probably one of my strongest GAs out there. - JuneGloomTalk22:55, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply
]
I agree with all your comments, that's why I brought it up. Dotty, yes it is a GA, but it is listed as low, which is correct, but so is Chrissie Watts, which i.m.o has had a lot more work put into it than Dotty's, Rainie's and Yusef's , i think we all need a clear understanding of what level GA's should be listed at. Yes if articles like Dotty are passed, good news for the project.
Another thing, though some may be against it, should we ask for a reassassement of
I think you have made a mistake in asking for another review.. I've got to be honest Mario, it is a nice effort you put in - but not enough for GA. It is a little thin, hardly any fleshed out development.. Have you built Manda's article to it's full potential? I didn't agree with the quickfail or points made - but that is just because there are some more .. lets say obvious issues. I want you to do better, so in future really work at something. I feel you have a tendancy to nominate everything you expand.RaintheOneBAM16:16, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have taken Manda off GA if you havent noticed. :)
Hi rain. i don't see why you undid some of my corrections to the Seth Costello page? On the page, you had, word for word - "He takes a pill and while having sex with the prostitute he begins to think he is having sex with Mercedes and kills her but in reality is he has killed the prostitiute". This is not true, Seth did not kill the prostitute. I fixed it but it got undone. Also, Esther did not kiss Seth. He made a move on her but she pulled back. I also added that Seth invited Ruby as his guest to the wedding - it's information about the character I don't see why it can't be added.
It wasn't my idea to add the Jason and hormones details, someone else did, so I just fixed it up.
I wasn't going to comment to you in this section until you made this bad-faith nomination, which I replied to. But it is not up to Raintheone to save you from embarrassment. The embarrassment is already there, since you nominated these articles for deletion. I'll continue to be that "pesky IP editor" showing others just how wrong you are until you learn. 174.137.184.36 (talk) 14:38, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I shall look over them. I have never watched this soap opera, but I'll be able rto figure the main thread of story. I shall add sources if I have time.RaintheOneBAM14:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, im actually pretty close to being done, just got a few more storylines and the intro and reception. Sorry its took so long but i've been busy and stuff and i want to make it the best i can.--AcidBrights (talk) 15:28, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Storylines
Silas's storylines are going to e longer than what they are now, and to be honest I don't think it can be helped. Have you got any ideas?--AcidBrights (talk) 19:57, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've cut down the storylines a bit more, can you have a look for me? I don't think I can cut anymore down so far. altough, instead of chester herland newspaper could i say just a local newspaper?--AcidBrights (talk) 13:59, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, i've made some more changes and to be honest i'm struggling i was wondering, and you don't have to, but would you like to copy and paste the storylines from my sandbox into your space and edit out what you think would need to go, cos i'm really tearing my hair out about it. --AcidBrights (talk) 16:02, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, things are going to get a little confusing, because for Silas's new storylines obviously the thing about mercedes kidnap will get her own section. But the things about silas picking four victims and Lynsey having to work it out, because the theresa/rae section is below lysneys feud section, so its going to be confusing cos people won't know what signifcance theresa has to the story etc if the thing about the four potential victims went under lynsey section.. help please! lol :)--AcidBrights (talk) 11:59, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was just wondering you know in the storylines, do you think, for example this: Silas meets fellow journalist, Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox), and they visit the crime scene of India's murder. Silas prepares to strangle Nancy to death, but is interrupted by her boyfriend, Darren Osborne. just really needs to be this:
silas meets fellows journalist, Nancy Hayton, and prepares to strangle her to death but is interrupted by her boyfriend, Darren Osborne.--AcidBrights (talk) 18:39, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Corrie Update?
I know I'm not as active as I use to be, but I'm now on a mission to update the Corrie character articles, especially articles such as Carla Connor who is at the centre of the show's flagship storyline at the minute. And also, what is the deal with the romances tab on the characters infoboxes? I add some and they get taken off, yet some characters have them and others don't? Alex250P (talk) 13:30, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What about this image? If it is a promo image, should the source be exact or brief? The sources for images Holby City characters are brief without exact sources, or am I mistaken? --
I already archived Dotty Cotton's HolySoap profile - [27] - one day this link might work for "Charlie to say goodbye" [28] - as for the other two, theyre lost forever. Best advice - use WebCite - when you add a ref put the URL in the top box, your email in the second and you will have it forever - takes a few seconds too.RaintheOneBAM16:44, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A barnstar for you!

Just for helping me!!!!! A little thing, which meant a lot :)
Oh - I'll have a look for some online laters - But I'll do some scans in a day or two if ya don't mind. Haven't got any wiki energy atm.RaintheOneBAM17:30, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll deffo have a look and see if i have anything worth scanning tomorrow - seeings as you want them for a normal topic. And well because it is you. :)RaintheOneBAM18:39, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Did you manage to do anything with those storylines and btw, is silas leaving or is it just the storylines thats coming to a climax at halloween? --AcidBrights (talk) 12:51, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, and do you know whether silas is leaving at halloween or is the storyline itself just coming to a climax and will other stuff carry on around it?--AcidBrights (talk) 12:59, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know this storyline is soooo amazing I just love it, and Karen and Jeff are amazing! I need to put the ref that claimed he was going to kill heidi somewhere...--AcidBrights (talk) 13:04, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, i've started the storylines and there actually nearly done for so far, can you check them to make sure there not too detailed or under detailed please?--AcidBrights (talk) 20:01, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! sorry for being a little annoying regarding Saskia's picture a couple of days ago. However; i have found a REAL picture of Saskia & her husband Jamie; It's here at this link http://www.zimbio.com/photos/Saskia+Burmeister/Jamie+Croft and if you compare it to the picture which you thought was Saskia and Jamie here [29] was correct; you are wrong. I'm In no place to keep on deleting the picture (you are correct) however If you compare these 2 pictures; They are not the same. The image i have shown you of the real couple has so resemblance whats so ever to the picture you have claimed to be Saskia's; and for someone that has met both Saskia and her husband in person i think i know what i'm talking about. So could you please look into this and REMOVE the picture from both Tegan's article and Saskia's? :) thankyou!
You are right, you are in no position to delete the image because you are making false claims. Here is another picture of her from the night, you can clearly see her pointy outward ears in this one - [30] - compare it to this other pics in the google search with her hair scraped back and you'll see they match perfectly. This being one - [31] - the other host is blacklisted so cannot post it.
You have gone out of your way fetching up photos where she has her hair down, dyed a different colour, wearing casual clothes and is caked in make-up. You think that can fool us? No. So stop telling us to take the image down, a photogrpaher donated it to the commons, thankgod she knows what Saskia looks like, it is her job, you know - like a avid fan should know what she looks like aswell - but that is not always the case.. it would seem.RaintheOneBAM02:17, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Um that still isn't her. And yes i've been trying to find a picture of her and her husband to prove to you that isn't her picture...and now you are being rude. I'm not trying to fool you. If you saw the picture i worked really hard to get from the internet you are sort of stupid. And that man there with the beard isn't even her husband. Also; her "Point Outward Ears" have nothing to do with it. Did you see the magazine issue of her wedding when it came out? You have got her husband's picture wrong. Those are completely different people. Gosh i asked you to look into it not just reply to me with the same stuff.... thanks anyway. I asked the opinions of many others and they agreed that the picture isn't Saskia...but that doesn't matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.220.110.59 (talk) 02:56, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the photographer might have got something mixed up; Considering she had to take pictures of THOUSANDS. And I am a big fan; I've seen her in Hating Alison Ashley, Sea Patroll, Wicked Science, Pirate Islands & many more shows. Just because their is her name along with that Picture which isn't her doesn't mean it is. And please stop sarcasm i'm just trying to be nice. 121.220.110.59 (talk) 03:01, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Honey, your the one calling me "sort of stupid", so now I've grown tired of your antics - I'd prefer it if you didn't bother me on my talk page about Saskia again - you are the only one who cannot accept the image is Saskia, and to reiterate, it clearly is - so please accept this and move foward, okies? :)RaintheOneBAM03:57, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi just wanted to say sorry i was not on yesterday to carry on with silas's article, it was my birthday so i was a bit busy and i got a new laptop! :)--AcidBrights (talk) 10:02, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, okay i've been thinking today and do you think we should split silas's casting and characterisation up and add stuff about the hollyokas website silas watch, although im not sure how i would word it? Btw, who do you think he murders on halloween?--AcidBrights (talk) 19:19, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is one person in that image that isn't a member of the group and there is one person of the group that's missing in the image. Heres what they look like. I'm sorry, I thought you knew them.
I seem to be constantly making stupid mistaks, the other day i changed Heidi's last appearance too the 32nd of October :P Not sure whether i should bother renominating Darren, do we need to source soap sl's again now? D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:29, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If it were me... I'd work on the prose first - do more paraphrasing - then renominate. You know I think sourcing storylines is a big pile of wank - that discussion was just a bunch of people throwing orders around, because they have no intention of helping - aslong as they don't have to do it they are more than happy have an opinion and let everyone know it. You could source them and that dude would review it though. Just depends on how bad you want your first GA.RaintheOneBAM21:39, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well just do the first option - they have never been needed before and it isn't an official rule. It is just other editors reading what they want to see out of policies that have been there forever. You could delete the storyline section too - not the desired outcome but hey.RaintheOneBAM21:51, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, do you know how Darren left HO back in 1999 and how he returned in 2003? Was it because of Mark/Luke? The way it was in the sl section seems vague. Great work on the 2011 list aswell its looking much better. D4nnyw14 (talk) 15:05, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Rain, can I ask you, you know in Silas's storyline section is it right to put "strangle to death" for a character who he murdered, or should I just put murder them?--AcidBrights (talk) 16:47, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
I just mean't for keeping the storyline section to the minimum number of words possible.--AcidBrights (talk) 16:53, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that you were the admin responsible for the deletion of the Dante Falconeri and Lulu Spencer page deletion. I also see that youre a big soap opera fan so Im suprised you dont understand why the page is relevant.
While the sources were messy, I honestly believe that if worked on, the page could be useful. There are plenty of soup couple pages for couples that arent nearly as popular as Dante and Lulu and are not even currently together. I believe the only issue is that they are well sourced while the Dante & Lulu page was not. I personally am invested in this page (having updated it a handful of times) and would be willing to put in the research to find sources.
I understand that they have separate & personal pages, but those pages also have details of other plot lines mixed in with theirs. It would be useful to have back the page that was solely devoted to their storyline. Contrary to what some might believe they are still an extremely relevant couple. They have garnered a huge amount of fans and I think this page would be useful. I was really hoping you would consider undeleting it.
I did a source check and the subject as a duo did not pass
WP:GNG - therefore it shouldn't me included. If there were sources, I'd of improved it myself - because it was a mess and just a hehash of storylines. I know you feel, I wish certain subjects would have more weight behind them and the sources to prove it... but sometimes this isn't the case. I believe in the values of this encyclopedia - I hate the fansirte feel it has at times ... so if it isn't notable why should we be scraping the barrel trying to include something of no interest. As single units through their own storyline, they are notable, so that is the silver lining. PS. I'm not an admin. ;)RaintheOneBAM15:43, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply
I knew her since I was a teen and I can perfectly recognize her face. I don't need to compare it with the other pics on the web. It is not her! And there isn't a need to know her in real life! It's so obvious! Anyone knowing her can notice it. I'm not the only one who thinks so. I noticed it before I read that discussion. The other person in the photo isn't her husband as well: another user noticed it too. It's a completely wrong picture.--Supremo (talk) 23:22, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know her since I was a teen, but on TV. I don't know her in real life, of course. What do you want to mean about my style??--Supremo (talk) 23:56, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I was wondering if you could scan and send me the Inside Soap interviews about Fright Night with Karen Hassan, BHS, Jorgie Porter and ASD please? If thats okay, that would be a great help, thanks. :)--AcidBrights (talk) 15:19, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, wondering if you could do me a massive favour and have a look for a ref for Darren's involvement in Luke's rape and then exit? D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:39, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and AB, I haven't forgotten about your inside soap request, though they might be with you in the early hours. I've found myself busier than I expected to be.RaintheOneBAM22:04, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She was sitting over the other side of the room eyeing Barney up as I recall, so she must have appeared in two episodes. Because her second episode was when she woke up with him.RaintheOneBAM22:30, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The order of events was wrong, I'll write a new line for your SL's with the ref.
"Darren becomes friends with Luke, together they stand up to bully Mark. However, Mark's bullying of Luke becomes more severe. Darren decides to make friends with Mark in the hope he will go easy on Luke. His attempts do not succeed and Mark rapes Luke."
Evans, Matthew (2002). Phil Redmond's Hollyoaks: the official companion. Channel 4. p. 48, 49.
Well I missed that out, you can cite "After Luke's ordeal, his relationship with Mandy begins to fail and Darren takes advantage of the situation." No mention of him leaving though.RaintheOneBAM17:21, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Arghh everytime i finish adding a source i find a new one to add. Thanks for all the help with the article, will be finally renominating in a few days.D4nnyw14 (talk) 17:36, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Rain, got no clue about his first and last appeareneces, details on DS archives are sketchy at best and HO isn't really my forte although I will tidy the odd article for it. I'm just more of a Neighbours, H&A, EE, Corrie E'Dale guy. Good luck though. Conquistador2k616:27, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I need a massive favour please, I was wondering if you could find me all articles from soap magazines to do with the fantastic Sunita Alahan from Corrie as I really want to do more with her article once i've finished Silas's aritcle (which is nearly done btw, I promise!) and i'm hoping to improve it loads as I think my wiki skills have improved loads since I last edited it. --AcidBrights (talk) 21:34, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I was wondering, on Silas's article in mercedes section do i need to put, she is found or just leave it because it will be in the storylines?--AcidBrights (talk) 09:51, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, i'm sorry to be such a pain but can you do me a massive favour, can we scrap the idea of you finding articles on Sunita and find them on Ruby Button instead because I really, really want to make her article. I'm sorry to be such a pain, but want newer oaks characters to have amazing articles. Would that be ok?--AcidBrights (talk) 14:09, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for scanning those articles, you are a star! :) Btw, i'm also revamping Heidi's article as I think it is important for me to put right the work I did when I wasn't a very good editor.--AcidBrights (talk) 19:20, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have edited down my summaries on the gay soap characters page, per what you mentioned. I was wondering if there was any way to at least list the gay characters and give a brief description, since they did have some importance (Kevin Sheffield was the first gay teen on US soaps and this was the first time reparative therapy was shown on a soap; Michael Delaney and Brad Phillips were the first gay couple seen on a US soap). I also wanted to ask if Reese should be included, since her wedding to Bianca did receive prominent press attention.
I was also wondering about creating a new soap in the category - a South African soap Isidingo had several gay characters, and generated some attention for having the first same-sex wedding on South African TV. Would it be OK to add a show?
Thanks for getting back so quickly. I also meant to ask if there was any reason why Verbotene Liebe is listed when Alles Was Zaehlt isn't. I know that Verbotene Liebe has more international fame. If I added Alles Was Zaehlt would it be deleted? --JamesB3 (talk) 02:21, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I am going to try later to rewrite the All My Children entry, just mention the characters, a quick summary, and the link to a news item on the Bianca/Reese wedding.
Disambiguation link notification
Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
I have, thankfully, almost finished April's article. The reception section is a bit on the small side, but there's not a lot I can do about that. If you're doing Bianca's article that means Elijah is the only regular without a list entry or article. I'm not that keen on creating his article as I find him dull. However, if I can gather enough sources, I'll give it a shot. - JuneGloomTalk00:48, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've decided that I hate writing leads. I've been starring at April's article for hours willing myself to write the lead and get the thing finished. You've made a great start with Elijah's article, btw! - JuneGloomTalk22:09, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I love writing them, I like summarising all the interesting facts and information that may want to make people read more. I think I'll have trouble doing that for Elijah though. ;) When you manage to complete the lead, I'll find a nice screenshot of her, how about that? :)RaintheOneBAM22:36, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can't believe you love writing leads. You're weird. :P It's only taken all day, but I've made a good start on April's lead. I'll finish it tomorrow and get the article moved to the mainspace, so you can add that nice screenshot to it. :) If Bianca's the last one left, do you fancy another collab? Or do you want to create her article yourself? I don't mind if you choose the latter, I can finish Brax's article or carry on with Geoff's. - JuneGloomTalk01:07, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I never know how to answer this type of question. Well, If you have an interest or wanted to do Bianca's article, then sure I'd accept. If you are offering to lighten my work load, then I don't mind doing it solo while you plough on with the other two. I've left you with ther tricky question. :pRaintheOneBAM01:12, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I forgot to look at this. I'm happy for you to take Bianca. If you need any help though, you know where I am. I'll try and finish Brax's article in the meantime. How notable would you say VJ is? Is he Callum Jones notable? I was just wondering if we could get away with creating an article for him too. - JuneGloomTalk01:32, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We need to talk about Libby. Neighbours have removed her from the opening credits (but didn't add Rhys, which was odd), so should we list her as a past character now? I wish there was a clear answer to this. The actress is ill and on a break, but the show is acting like she has made a proper departure and not coming back, at least not soon. - JuneGloomTalk16:49, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've replied on my talk page and opened a discussion on Libby's talk page, just so others don't have to trawl through our archives looking for the moment we agreed to class her as a past character. - JuneGloomTalk17:24, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea what to do now! I haven't made the changes to her article yet, as I got distracted by another project. Someone removed her from the cast list earlier. - JuneGloomTalk23:57, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think that Gaby Willis should go back to the Willis list? Her article mostly consists of storylines and I'm pretty sure the only Willis children who are notable are Cody and Brad. - JuneGloomTalk17:09, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should give it a while longer, until new year. We could start a bigger discussion about the other several characters that are in the same boat. A few of the early teenagers seem lost causes.RaintheOneBAM18:03, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A while longer to do what? Magic some development info out of thin air? ;) I know there are several other characters that need sorting too, I guess I should crack on with creating some cast lists, so we have something to merge them to. Love Malcolm's new image, btw. He's looking quite handsome. - JuneGloomTalk19:33, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just made the H&A births table sortable offline (to see how it would look), but the surrogate mothers are causing a problem. I'm not sure how to make them sortable too and they're stretching the column. How important are they to the list? - JuneGloomTalk00:28, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I will get round to making the H&A deaths table sortable, but its the hardest and most boring of the lot. Also, an Inside Soap from April 1996 has just arrived for me. It's got quite a few Neighbours stories (Lou, Marlene, Serendipity), but I thought you'd be most interested in the H&A Steven Matheson section. I will scan it for you. The only problem is the magazine doesn't have a front cover, so there's no issue number. - JuneGloomTalk17:40, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've been working on an article for Annalise Hartman's sister and hopefully I'll get it moved to the mainspace tomorrow, but what I wanted to know was should the article remain Joanna Evans or be renamed Joanna Hartman? - JuneGloomTalk02:07, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! I'm sorry to ask you this again, but if you could, would you be able to please find any articles to do with Heidi Costello from the soap magazines as i'm trying to revamp the articles which I created when I wasn't a very good editor.--AcidBrights (talk) 15:03, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lhb - with all due respect, three editors support it's inclusion whereas you are the only one to object. You state we should wait until the discussion has ran its course - The request is a little hypocritical as you waded in there an removed the information twice. As the Guardian's coverage has a positive and negative about the programme's casting - it has provided a balance again. I thank you for being good enough to ask me to remove it, but I think it is best if we talk about whether everyone else who contributes would like its inclusion. Atleast then there won't be any arguement between us and other can decide for us. You've removed what I added, I've added something totally different - it'll end sour if we keep on like this - we should perhaps rest a little and talk it over, reass what is best for the article. What do you think of that?RaintheOneBAM22:45, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion is on undue weight, yet you add another negative UK review ADDING to the undue weight? How does that kind of move promote collegial and cooperative editing between editors?
Infact I thought be may end up being a little to me/to you - So I've requested comment from WP:TV. Maybe more members might be interested helping reach a consensus on the matter.RaintheOneBAM22:54, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Image
Hi there, I was wondering if you could upload a free image of
I've been trying to shave that down. 2006-07 had a critical story arc for (Kim and the Baby). I'm just trying to figure out what can go and what stays. Seems she did more as a recurring than a regular and I Guess I put everything but the Kitchen sink into that one (Insomnia will do that to a guy, lol). Conquistador2k6 25 November 2011 23:47 (UTC)
No Rush. I've seen your workload. You're already giving yourself a hernia with trying to restore Ric and your frequent Pan AM and Hollyoaks updates. At least we have the SLs of it and at least one reception reference. And beside I liked the Hunters bar Henry who was the least interesting. Conquistador2k6 26 November 2011 00:03 (UTC)
I mean't the scans from soap mags for Heidi's articles. Oh yeah it's good to hear people use your work, and I hated the male interviewer, you could see he was just being obnoxious...--AcidBrights (talk) 13:34, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
URGENTLY need a water-bucket for the Jake Firestorm
In examining the page of this Jake fellow: you seem to have been in communication with that user. You know the user. Come and see my talk page and tell me whether you think I am that user or not. User:Erikeltic seems to think I am Jake. He's making me miserable. I appeal to you because I need a balanced view that is not automatically in Erikeltic's favours. A barnstar for you!
The Barnstar of Good Humor
The 'time machine' comment made me giggle- anyone who can make me laugh deserves a barnstar and you definetly deserve one!!
Sorry to ask you various things, but will you have a look in here User:AcidBrights/Sandbox1 because i've been improving Sunita's article in my sandbox and I was wondering if you could check the storylines to see whether i've missed any storylines out, or anything that should be added (i was thinking about putting her support of Sophie and Sian maybe?)--AcidBrights (talk) 22:25, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Jacqui McQueen
Hi Rain. Why did you change Jacqui's date of birth back to 1984? She was born the year after Niall, who was born in 1980.
Also, 1984 would make Mercedes older than her and would mean Myra was 18 when she had her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DesertHotIceCold (talk • contribs) 11:31, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Coronation Street timeline
Im back after a long break
I seem to be the only person working the Coronation Street timeline of late.
Problem is I generally write about Sian and Sophie, as I use Your Tube
for info on these two, there 1000's of Sian and Sophie videos there, they have a huge fan following.
Theres very little on other Corrie characters !!!!
Its kinda becomimg Sian/Sophie timeline..........I have stopped doing updates mean while!!!!
Im not a huge corrie follower not that keen on Corrie when these two are not
in a story line. Now that Parkinson has quit the soap last month. Her last scenes, a bust up
at their wedding shows Jan 12 then no more :( I'm still bugged theres no pix on both Bio's
for these two. I have emailed their agent, asking her to verify the Wikipedia entries, and please send me
non copyright pix of both actresses. Dont ask dont get !!! gren500Gren500 (talk) 08:11, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The reason I used that photo is because there haven't been new photos of Taylor to be found. The picture is fine, and will remain. It represents the character fine.
We use smaller text on those things on all pages, it's how we've all been doing it. Plus, some of the information you undid was required as it is on all other pages.
Hi there! As you have seen...i tried to change the format of US Soap pages starting with
User:Musicfreak7676 completely undid my revisions (i sorted out the sub-headings to years, like 1990-2002 & 2004-) and its actually really annoying. I also attempted to add information about Casting, Character's background etc. Also i thankyou for the links you sent me, i found a few great sources that could have helped me. And i also believe that the small (tiny) writing in the info-box is not acceptable to people with reading disabilities to see (your side-kick JuneGloom07 enforced this rule on my in the past (2009) when i was wondering. Thanks anyway..Hopefully one day (In the far or near future) these pages will get better. Also, they removed sections which would have eventually excelled (and improved greatly, they were still a work in process) like the "Casting information" and other parts - Isn't that considered as vandalism? Im glad there are people out there like you (On Wikipedia) who actually want Soap Pages to make sense. Also i want your opinion; with this (past revision) of the page i did - http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Taylor_Hayes_(fictional_character)&oldid=465443117 - do you think that by looking at this page (with additional sources and better text) could have reached a good standard?. Sorry for wasting yours and my time...this pages won't reach the perfect standard. :) 101.160.166.149 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:53, 13 December 2011 (UTC).[reply
Hi...The link above leads to CBS Recaps (of daily episodes). But I'm not sure why they didn't work as sources.. Could they be used for dates and things like that? Because there are recaps from back to 2002.
Hey...Well i just uploaded this file to see how it looked and to see if i could actually upload something and i didn't really go well i don't think i filled out any thing right...is there anyway I delete this [39] and could you upload this [40] again for me? Sorry I'm such a mess I'm a little confused.
Just saying bye to you. I can't stand helping Wiki articles anymore with a certain someone thinking they're helping, when all they're doing is coming in and wrecking an experience and making articles the way THEY wish them.
I didn't realize I needed to discuss it, it just seemed a bit weird to me that stepfather/stepmother/stepsons and stepdaughters are added but not stepbrothers or sisters. I didn't read your messages in time either. so am sorry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Libby'smummy (talk • contribs) 23:48, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Todd Manning
hi. will you do something about Llanview Citizen reverting to a contested image at the Todd Manning article? i explained why i object to it on the talk page. the image isn't even licensed correctly. 83.172.0.119 (talk) 00:42, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. Have you spoken to me before? Anyhow, I'll look at it too see whether I agree or disagree. Obviously I'll comment in which ever way I think best.RaintheOneBAM00:45, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
no, i saw you on the talk page. you and flyer appear to be the authority on the article. or main watchers. whatever. i edit soap opera articles sparingly, and keep watch of my favorite ones, like Todd. even if you prefer the image where Todd's face is too small to clearly present his face, the image that Llanview Citizen uploaded isn't correctly licensed. it's licensed to Wikimedia commons. i said that on the talk page. 83.172.0.119 (talk) 00:51, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh I see. Well Wikimedia commons is the place we aspire to house content, the place where free content is placed. I don't think this is a free image at all - so I'm going to flag it.RaintheOneBAM00:56, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Seb Miller and Shelley Sutherland
Do you have any magazine stuff for those two? I've got their storylines for both tucked away in a document but It's impossible to find any interviews with or otherwise with Mitch Firth and the only stuff for Shelley that I can find so far is her return, which was essentially to facilitate Kirsty's departure. No biggie if you haven't. I Just wondered if you had. Conquistador2k6 00:51 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Sadly, I don't really keep Issues of IS for more than a week or two. More fool me :). Jade, I could probably set up the story section in the near future (Helluva lot easier than Kim Hyde or Rhys Sutherland and I've tried both, Honestly!). There's some characters you either fall into working on or just can't quite wrap your head around. Conquistador2k6 01:23 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Now you mention it, Chucking out IS issues is a slight regret for me. I had a preteen/early teens jones (putting it mildly, lol) for Isla Fisher at the height of her H&A fame (1996-97) and she was frequently interviewed in it. Coulda really kept some issues, I think she won sexiest babe at the '97 awards (Deservedly so!). But back to the articles, I'll deal with Shelley and Jade tomorrow. Conquistador2k6 01:43 23 December 2011 (UTC)
your opinion

I have the SLs done (Didn't go overboard). Do you have the photo and ref to hand? Conquistador2k6 24 December 2011 01:33 (UTC)
That's cool. No Hurry. I've already put the SLS in. Thanks a bunch. Conquistador2k6 24 December 2011 01:38 (UTC)

Hey, I was wondering do you have any reception for Maddie's article, I've got some off the DS interview with ES, but can't find anymore at the minute.--AcidBrights (talk) 16:23, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's still my favourite soap and I never though I would have said this but I'm really starting to love the teens, when they are mostly apart or in two's or three's they work really well and are not annoying.--AcidBrights (talk) 16:44, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Neil is still the one that's growing on me, but I like the rest of them. I'm loving the freshers, they just feel so real. How do you feel about ES's vision for the show?--AcidBrights (talk) 17:29, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well I just realised I put love about the teens, I actually mean't like lol! Anyways, yeah I prefer the older characters too and I can't wait to see all the females becoming friends, and what about the Osborne's getting the dog back?! I'm so glad Ethan's gone, the initial idea around him was good, but after going through three producers, I think he didn't exactly turn out the way that the powers that be wanted him to.--AcidBrights (talk) 18:06, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In a little village called Chester...
Hey, just to let you know i've created Maddie's article, and i'm really pleased with it and hope you are too. :) Btw, thought we could have a discussion about all things Hollyoaks here, if thats okay?--AcidBrights (talk) 22:42, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks and thank you for the advice i'm going to try and find some more refs :) Btw, is there a bit of a debate about referencing storylines?--AcidBrights (talk) 18:13, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I thought that, but on ds last night someone said that Riley and Seth had been took out of the titles in the E4 episode and Mitzeee's shot was extended.--AcidBrights (talk) 18:55, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We need to look at the positives, Jacqui, Gilly, Leanne, Liberty, Maddie, Silas, Diane, Rae etc, there all well written, quality articles that we have worked hard at. I've been thinking about the oldies articles too, I would love to do one, but there are not loads of refs.--AcidBrights (talk) 19:25, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I do want to work on Frankie's article, but the date of her first appearance is wrong because: she briefly appeared in summer 2002 and then was reintroduced, and there are no sources for her first appearance actual date etc etc.--AcidBrights (talk) 20:35, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Happy New Year! Well, apparently it says somewhere that storyline section should go first so thats why I staretd doing it, sorry for not discussing it. Heidi needs more development adding. What are you plannign to tackle next?--AcidBrights (talk) 00:46, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey did you get my last message? What are you going to work on next and what do you think about the storylines going before casting? :)--AcidBrights (talk) 18:18, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've put in bold so you can see it amongst the list. I'm on with Ruby's article again now as she has been in it a year tomorrow. It's such a shame that Esther's got no references, actually it's soul destroying as I love the character.. Do you think Will and Dodger's article would be next to create?--AcidBrights (talk) 16:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Happy New Year Rain! Hopefully we can grab some more articles by the scruff the neck in 2012 and give 'em a jolly old clip 'round the ear! (Note; I've had a bit :) ) Conquistador2k6 1 January 2012 00:55
Saw head? Unless I sleep with a bag of tools, that ain't happening! :) Beside if you can't get mashed up at New Year; when can you? Conquistador2k6 1 January 2012 01:23
Head's fine. Stomach 50/50. And as for those Mags, to quote Alf Stewart "I don't have a flamin' brass razoo to me name at the minute!". LOL
So, What's on your agenda for the coming year article wise? I was thinking of floating around a Brad Willis collab at some point...
Hey Richiie...We haven't talk in a while. Sorry about that i will try my very hardest to get the pics but hope you wouldn't be sad if i don't - Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR :) You tought me a lot last month about editing so thank you for that and your support!! -Arre/
Hey, do you think this source is at all useful for reception. I was looking at the sex is never simple section and was thinking about using it for Darren reception and Mercedes. Do you think it is at all notable and could you think of any way to phrase it? Thought something along the lines of "The guardian felt that if the serial were true to life then viewers would be likely to sleep with several people giving a "married woman" as an example and citing Darren as a character who was also likely to do this" might work but seems abit sketchy. D4nnyw14 (talk) 22:48, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OMG, OMG! Have you heard about Cheryl's new big storyline I'm so excited for it, I think it will be really interesting and having characters decide to go to university later in life hasn't been done much on the soaps apart from when Susan Kennedy did it.--AcidBrights (talk) 18:04, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wanted your opinion on cutting the storyline section from Darren? After bending over backwards to source it the reviewer has suggested cutting it :P It doesn't really bother me though. D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:33, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, you seem like you might be able to help me out with this. I want to upload a load of PDF files and word documents to some sort of storage space on line that will allow me to access wherever I want. I could email them all but the files are pretty big and my email gets full quick, plus where I work all outsode emails are blocked. I could also use a memory stick etc, but work computers dont let me use them either. Do you know of a good site that would allow me to store files that are only accessible to me? Can you have a look at my draft of Ruby's article so far please? User:AcidBrights/Sandbox3 :) Do you think the storyline section is okay? Ruby's storylines are quite complex so there is a lot of explaining to do around them. Or do you think I should shorten the storylines?--AcidBrights (talk) 11:53, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think I should remove the bit about Bart and Ruby joyriding and knocking over Jason in Ruby's storylines as that was more for Bart and Jason's storylines yeah?--AcidBrights (talk) 20:42, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to message about Ruby's storylines again. But, am I right in thinking that Esther took the blame alone for framing Ricky so Ruby and Sinead would not get into trouble yeah?--AcidBrights (talk) 08:16, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is it 1995 or 1996? Sorry i'm rubbish at maths. Btw, how great have all the women been together in this weeks episodes. I've been longing for them to become friends and i'm so happy with it. The Brendan/Ash thing was good, but a bit weird at times don't you think?--AcidBrights (talk) 23:17, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I was a little worried about ES at first but she has done an amazing job so far and i'm liking the teens even more. Thanks for workin date out--AcidBrights (talk) 23:56, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, i've just been reading that Phoebe (George's squatting friend), played by Mandip Gill is actually a regular a character and by the looks of it she's a really good actress who's done a wide range of work. I'm really looking forward to George's storyline, hopefully more refs will be avaiable soon so I can create his article, probably a long way off yet though.--AcidBrights (talk) 00:58, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Todd Manning article needs an updated pic, the previous RH pic was taken from 10 years ago, and it's taken from a screenshot from the November 8, 2011 episode of One Life to Live. I'm compromising with Flyer and Llanview Citizen. Llanview want's an updated pic but flyer doesn't want one cuz it was in the current opening. The pic needs to be updated seriously. I'm not trying to be mean, the show goes off in one week, it would be good to have an updated pic of Todd Manning instead of one taken from 10 years ago. I hope you understand why I'm doing this. Soapfan2013 (talk) 07:08, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's not why I wanted the previous one to stay, but both of you know my feelings on the matter...per my comments on the article talk page.
Anyway, Rainetheone, the snotty editor on the article talk page is really causing me to lose my cool. I'm not sure if I should mark the discussion as closed or what. I just know that I am beyond tired of these type of editors, as well as so many other things on Wikipedia, that I am even closer to dropping Wikipedia than before. I firmly believe that I will be done with this site this year or the next, letting all the fanboys/fangirls and shady and/or incompetent editors have their way with the articles I have either significantly fixed up or protected. Once these One Life to Live characters are on General Hospital, we may also have to fight to keep cruft out of the Todd article on a daily basis, since fans of that show are especially fancrufty in their Wikipedia editing, and since some General Hospital fan may try to add a Storyline section (filled with only General Hospital plot of course). I do not want a plot section in Todd's article...unless it is written in a real-world perpesctive (like some of the plot detail in the article already is) and is reliably sourced. I originally intended to add that type of plot section. But it's not like it's needed to understand this character and to get the general gist of his history. Not when the rest of the article goes into sufficient analysis for that.
Having seen what has happened in the past, It is a wonder this article is not on indefinite semi protection already. If the article is inundated with General Hospital fans violating the fancruft policy - then long-term protection is justified because it is a GA at the end of the day, it is too much for you to attempt to keep stable without any help. I don't think you should be forced to leave because fansite editors either. You just have to keep looking for the ones that may be willing to learn the trade and improve them. I've noticed that three editors have ended up working as a team now to improve Y&R articles. I think the team needs to be built like we did for the UK/AU articles. I know what you mean about intending to do something, there is never enough time to do everything - even when half the time I spend most of my day on here.Rainthe 102:30, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, especially for your continual support. But, as mentioned, fancruft editors aren't the only reason I've been thinking of leaving (the in-depth reason why I am thinking of doing so is still currently displayed on my user page).
For the last two weeks, I haven't been on Wikipedia as often as I'm usually on it. I'm experiencing limited Internet access, but that should be changing soon and I should be able to help you more with reverting fancruft.
If you use Firefox and enable Wikipedia:Twinkle you can click the "restore this version" link. Or and you usually have to do this with Internet Explorer - you just click edit on the last safe version and save the page. You could not revert outright because of conflicting edits from another IP Adress - so that is why it usually says you have to do it manually.Rainthe 120:37, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HI!!!! sorry i hope not to bother you. Well i know you probably don't know this character but its not about that..but people KEEP on adding subheadings saying its impossible to sum up 15 years of storyline into a section..its just terrible. Every time i try to trim a story line, they consistently undo it! What should i do?! Please Help..This is the article:
Man, This guy (Mr "Should have been arrested/spend time in prison" edits) don't quit, does he? Probably marches around in a stetson and wears a little tin badge! :) Conquistador2k6 12 January 2012 00:03 (UTC)
Even the Great Conquistador is entitled to a wee break from the site. I'm mainly dealing with the piddly crap barely anyone touches Category:Category needed (Somebody's gotta do it and if there's articles in there I care about like Music, Boxing, Wrestling, Football, etc, I usually dive in head first, I'm one of the patron saints of discarded articles :) ) . And Yep, I did contemplate retirement around October/November at one point due yto small disillusionment but as long as a UK/Australian soap opera article needs a birthdate, storylines, reception... I'll be there. Besides this place is like crack. I just have to muster up the strength do work on Rhys, Amanda, and Kim (The latter mainly because let's be honest, the guy was a block of wood). For now, I'm just doing bits and pieces. Treading carefully after the Grant Mitchell debacle got June's hulk up.
Maybe we should sic the River Boys on our Sherrif friend... *Mockingly high voice* "Ooh, Irritating Psuedo-Law Enforcement Friend!" (No prizes for guessing which show that's from) Conquistador2k6 12 January 2012 00:32 (UTC)
Hey raintheone ..i was wondering. I read articles about it but its not clicking in my mind. Im so confused lol. Thankyou i truly hope u can help :))) Page –– [41]

This is a quick message to inform you I have recreated the article Jay Duffy. I am aware that you previously nominated this page for deletion when it was created by another user. Talkback
I can use the other infobox and pepper the articles with actors' names if you want. Writing in present tense always seems ungrammatical to me: Present tense is something you use when describing the plot of a work of fiction, I always feel when describing the fictional history of a character you should use past tense, especially when it's used throughout the rest of the article to refer to fictional events. I do look for sources but I never seem to find anything useful, maybe I'm just lazy and not looking hard enough. Sorry if you feel you're having to waste your time tidying up after me, that wasn't my intention. Skteosk (talk) 09:10, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately writing the storylines in present tense is part of the MoS -
If "present tense is something you use when describing the plot of a work of fiction" - then that should apply to the fictional character - because they are a work of fiction.Rainthe 116:53, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Victor Lord Jr.
Why can't Victor Lord Jr. have his own section on miscellanious characters on One Life to Live. What sources do you need for a character, if you watched the show you would know that's true. Besides he's not dead he's alive DUH. Soapfan2013 (talk) 04:01, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was in that section originally - it was moved out without sources - No stable lists have big sections of unsourced information. Surely you can find some sources. I'm not sure how you can ask why sources are needed. This is Wikipedia and if you had not noticed you are required to provide sources. Just because you watch the show, doesn't mean they automatically qualify for a section. I just restored an old version of the table - If he didn't die, why was it there in the first place unchallanged for two weeks solid. Finally, please do not "DUH" me like I am empty headed. There is no need for it.Rainthe 104:32, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I did not want proof - like I said - I restored the old version before the new information was added. By new information I mean an infobox that is not needed, an image that is not needed and a fansite style run through about the character.Rainthe 105:50, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I was wondering if I could ask you a MASSIVE favour? I was wondering if you could find an Inside Soap interview with Paul Marquess from 2010 in which he said that Eva Strong's (Sheree Murphy) temporary departure (during Murphy's break) would not be screened due to the extra scenes being added around then. To narrow it down it was about late 2010, so October/November/December 2010 maybe? It would really help, and if you could find any other articles on Eva aswell, as I am trying to put right all the articles I made when I wasn't a very good editor.--AcidBrights (talk) 16:34, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
hey i need your advice. Do you think this is a reliable source [42] its from Soaps.com (she knows soaps) which i would never use; but it is an actual interview with Sharon Case (for the [[Sharon Newman article) and she is being interviewed by the site. What do you think? Is it usable?
Hi. When you recently edited Adam Cameron, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Harry Reynolds (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
Not an Aussie matter, but have you seen what is happening at
WP:EE? Characters being split from lists left, right and centre with hardy any discussion. <sarcasm>I'm going to create articles for Ashley Chubb, Norman Simmonds and Craig Moon. They have some development info and they were in a few episodes. Plus, I'm going to source the storylines section. That way the article is guaranteed to be great and the character will pass all notability standards.</sarcasm> - JuneGloomTalk22:30, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply
What is it with me today.. I'll use that one. Could you take a look at Casey's storyline section - is everything in order and anything that needs adding? I went off memory alone.Rainthe 121:21, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, I've corrected a few things to help the sentences flow a little better. Will you be adding anything about him being released or are you waiting until its aired in the UK? - JuneGloomTalk22:41, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I should have thought about the episode guides, thanks. Without Backtothebay profiling new characters it is harder. You can add it if you like - I don't mind knowing. I watched seven episodes in one go the other night, so I'll know soon enough. :)Rainthe 122:51, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I missed you yesterday. Hope everything is okay. What do you think of the new image of Simon Wicks? I don't think it should go in the infobox, since it doesn't represent his whole time on the show and it's far too dark. - JuneGloomTalk21:26, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I received a copy of Inside Soap from 1992 today. It's full of info for Neighbours and H&A and there just so happens to be some info about Lucinda Croft for you - [48]. The issue number should be three instead of two though. - JuneGloomTalk17:43, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Now that is just great! Just got them all and that will keep me busy. I love that there is a great amount of info for Adam's return too.Rainthe 123:52, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say that it will flow better in the development section. There is other information that would tie in with the part of the storyline.Rainthe 123:00, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do either of you have anything on Lachlan Fraser at all? So far all I can cough up are meagre reception pieces on his departure and funeral episodes (AFI/AACTA Nominations). I saw and thought you may like a better image. I did start doing a bit for Debbie as I had saved some things for her - but not sure how commited I'll be. I had a go at Billy Hopwood too because I really liked the character. Btw - I only need to watch four more episodes of Home and Away, then I'll be on the same episode as you - I'll do that tonight. I've wrote the minor characters down for the last twenty odd eps I watched so should be able to add some to the 2011 list soon.Rainthe 123:46, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Don't hate me, but I think I may have been too hasty in merging Pam Willis' article back to the list. In the last mag I've looked in I found some casting info and a couple of the other mags have storyline info. I think I may also have enough info to save Gaby and improve my draft of Brad. - JuneGloomTalk16:37, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, can I ask a favour, I know its another one, but i've decided to start improving Cheryl Brady's article and I was wondering if you could find the article where PM said Cheryl was being used in the wrong way and he wanted her to become a central character? I hope thats ok :)--AcidBrights (talk) 13:21, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, its okay you dont have to look for the article as i've noticed I might start getting bogged down again in loads of different articles, so I'd rather think about what I am going to do next. Sorry for any inconvenience. :)--AcidBrights (talk) 15:34, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am well with in my rights to voice my opinion where I see fit. This is Wikipedia, like those images, you do not own these conversations. Hi, is there anything in Mercy's storylines that you think is unimportant? I was thinking about trying to get it to GA although it needs work but the thing that screams out at me is the size of the sl section, its huge. Oh sorry, I ACTUALLY didn't know that you were working on the article. And your probably right, my version of the article will obviously be a rehash of what you wrote because mine are crap and your writing is far superior to mine. So, I won't carry on with the article...--AcidBrights (talk) 20:57, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think your work is "crap" or think that my writing is "superior" to yours. Why would you think that. I compiled that information for a section in the 2011 list, I then notified Danny about it - you said you would like to take the article but not "tread on my toes" - you did say that - so I assumed you realised I was already working on it. It is not because I think you will do any less of a job than I could - more the fact I do not really get why two people should be doing the same thing - when the two people could work together or on separate things - therefor getting more work done in less time.Rainthe 121:13, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about that AB. Yeah, it is good and is coming along quite nicely. I read it earlier and thought about seeing that poll in an Inside Soap I read the other day. So I thought you would like the information. :)Rainthe 121:36, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Think of it this way. She's been on Corrie since August, 2010. For 8 months, she was Turner. Now, for 9 months, she's been a Platt and involved in more plotlines as Platt than Turner (True, the her selling Max plot was big, but still.) I think i've made my point. Do you think I would be able to create one, i've been thinking maybe Rhys? Actually, I would really like to make an article for Ajay, obviously I couldn't publish it live straightaway, but I would like to start building that up, do you think June would be okay with me doing something?
Well obviously you can work on whatever you would like - but I do think checking with June is a good idea because she often works off line on new articles see. So like I've said earlier, there could be something else that takes your fancy. Plus she is usually very up to date with all the latest information in the Neighbours list characters. However, not sure they need splitting yet because they are quite contained in the lists. I think that Rhys hasn't really conjured up that many sources.Rainthe 114:29, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. I follow HJ Mitchell's talk page and saw your post. I looked at these and agree that a merger makes sense. Of the two, Ben Richards (actor) has more citations, so I think it should probably be the article that remains after the merger. I've posted a merger tag on both articles and started a proposal on the talk page of "Ben Richards (actor)", which both tags link to. Excuse me? Just because I was the last person to edit the page, does not mean that I readded her date of birth. I have not "reposted" it. All that I have done on the article today, is attempt to revert an anon edit which as "is a Poo actress" back to "is an Australian actress". I have no problem with people wanting to "contribute to wikipedia" - but is that what you are doing. See you openly claim you know this actress and so far your contribs are all to this actress. If you would like to promote her, start a fansite - knowing this actress gives you no special rights on here. The problem I see, is if you know her date of birth is wrong, then you must know her real one - so why not just correct the information instead of removing it. Others have restored the informtion because you barged in and removed without any offer of an explanation.Rainthe 104:14, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the past, I have nominated any soap opera topic for deletion because... I do so. Over time, I have begun to learn my lessons of deletion recently by mentorship and suggestions. You and members of Soap Opera Project perceive my nominations as a crusade against soap opera; to be honest, I judge too poorly based on current state, and I can't make excuses on what I did. I continue, and I caused conflict.
Right now, the "Sam and Diane" article is nominated for deletion, in spite of how well-written and well-source it is by me mainly, and I would like you to pledge your Soap Opera Project members to join in
WP:N
, before you comment in AFD.
I can't post this message in Soap Opera because this topic is of a sitcom-drama series, not a soap opera. Nevertheless, that would have been well-worth pledging there. --George Ho (talk) 05:37, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I always type in the characters name followed by every publication I've ever heard of until something comes up, because half of them are missed out in the general search. "A columnist for
Pink News said that Mercedes was just distraught and unable to accept the shock her HIV scare. It resulted in Mercedes hitting "her self-destruct button."[53]Rainthe 120:42, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply
I guess only you know the answer to that. We all have different opinions - I just build little bits like that and find what others said about the same storyline and combine it.Rainthe 121:01, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, i'll decide whether to use it later, should i start a section for the prostitution sl or what to see how it progresses? Maybe i could merge Silas and prostitution into one section for now titled something like 'later storylines'. D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:13, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, what you said about outsiders being used in development had me thinking about Darren, i'm going to move all the reception bits from development but do you think the fake death comparisons to John Darwin should be kept there or moved to reception as the development does directly refer to the comparisons or should all of it be moved to reception. Should Steph's storylines be updated to include Doug or not as i'm not sure if its important to her really? D4nnyw14 (talk) 17:32, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'd keep the fake death stuff - it seems a fair comparison - Some of Doug's can be used in a return development section for Steph.Rainthe 117:43, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, it could be labelled Hannah and Suzanne Ashworth. I think if i do that then it'd have to go above Cindy even though both sls started after his relationship with Cindy sources about Cindy are still becoming available with it being revisited again and again. D4nnyw14 (talk) 18:48, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
When did Hannah and Darren divorce, was it 2010? Emma Smithwick has no idea what she is doing, she adds teens to everything when hardly anyone seems to like them. D4nnyw14 (talk) 20:33, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I seriously cannot remember him even saying they got a divorce. and Do you mean because they interupted the scene of Darren and Nancy's vows using Jono and Ruby instead??Rainthe 120:49, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it was mentioned so i don't know what we'd put, it must have been before 2012 and i'd probably say 2010 as that's when she left but we shouldn't really guess. Yes and the fact she wants the teens in every episode. She's letting her opinion cloud her judgement on who she be in how many episodes and when. She thinks Jono and Ruby are a big super couple but they are awful. She is completely murdering the show. D4nnyw14 (talk) 20:57, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know yeah and while they are sweet - they are not the big couple they are making them out to be - even at the end of the show when the announcer (who is obviously told to say) "you can catch up with the latest Juby info over at e4.com/hollyoaks" he doesn't buy it either. For me - George and Callum work, I am looking foward to their scenes next week - i assume the kane family are moving into the the old ashworth/osborne house.Rainthe 103:42, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It'll be good to have another proper family, Emma Smithwick should make use of the families she has and bring a few more in. I like George even though i hated him to begin with, Callum and Tilly are likeable too, don't really like the rest. D4nnyw14 (talk) 13:00, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Rob Owen should be redirected? Do you know if Metcalfe has done any interviews in any soap magazine recently about the prostitution storyline? D4nnyw14 (talk) 20:40, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
She did this one - [55] if it helps. You could always make a start on the Hollyoaks article, but I'm too into the Aussie zone atm. Rob mays well be redirected, can't say I've ever seen anything.Rainthe 121:17, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the interview, i'll have to make a section for the prostitution, could probably make the silas section silas and prostitution. I'll redirect Rob, don't think i'll start the draft yet maybe soon though. D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:47, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is Doctor Browning present? The source i was using was this which is now about sugar intake and the pic was from when Lynsey found Mercy working as an escort for that man in the hotel the other day? D4nnyw14 (talk) 18:43, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I dunno - he could appear again when Lynsey is at work. In future it is probably gonna be a good idea to use [56] to archive sources to be on the safe side.Rainthe 118:56, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Any help on what needs to be done with Mercy before i nominate it for GA? The lead needs expanding, maybe cut some non important stuff out if i can, anything else? D4nnyw14 (talk) 22:48, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Have you seen Twitter "Please follow @TeamDianeorama (Diane-o-rama) We want Hollyoaks Diane to be used more because she is amazing! Tell followers" :) And comment on the threads on DS :)--AcidBrights (talk) 20:38, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thats great. Could you comment on the threads on DS in the general discussion thread and [1] would you mind asking your followers to follow the account aswell please :) trying to drum up support for the wonderful diane! Btw, how are you and hows editing going?--AcidBrights (talk) 20:47, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Karl yes and Leanne seems a bit daunting to me at the minute but I am doing it, just lost a bit of oomph towards doing the article. ES tweeted me you know, I couldn't believe it! :) What do you think of HO at the mo?--AcidBrights (talk) 21:25, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know, I follow her and noticed. She is friendly with the viewers. I think the show is really good, but I would like the teenage group to go away for a while now - they are boring with this whole driving storyline. Leanne is certainly quite a big project to take on.Rainthe 121:37, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I really like Emma too. The show's really good at the minute but we need the teenagers to have a rest and have the "older" characters onscreen, infact I really want them onscreen! Emma and Nicole Barber-Lane were tweeting one another tonight about a storyline for Myra and how Nicole was excited about the scripts. Thats very promising isn't it? :)--AcidBrights (talk) 21:44, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That does sound good, she is always good at the comedy, would love a serious plot again like the old days. If you are stuck for something to work on that is rather quick - would you consider creating list section for either Neil or Scott? They do not have an entry yet and it is a shame on them really.Rainthe 121:54, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well there are other sources - ABC Soaps, Soaps She Knows for interviews, all the news archives over at google, Highbeam, Free Library - It is worth looking around. I have I wish someone would create Neil or Scott =] (I have done one for Ally, Phoebe, Annalise, Scott, Barney, George, Jodie, Dennis, Declan, William, Jenny lol)Rainthe 101:31, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Any news yet?
Hey, just checking in. Any news yet about whether the colour scheme for Ibox 1 has been changed, or will be getting changed?
I put in a request at the help desk, while it was answered - it seems I should have placed the request on the template talk page - So I have now done that. Hopefully it is sorted soon. :)Rainthe 102:33, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry
Sorry for not replying to your requests. I've been ill and not really concentrating :( I was wondering if we could clear something up: I'm revamping the 2010 character list (HO) in my sandbox and want to know, just for after i've completely revamped it, whose articles will be moved back to the list. I thought: Gabby and Amber Sharpe, Finn O'Connor, Seth Costello, Carl maybe?, Jem and Eva also a maybe?--AcidBrights (talk) 22:49, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm starting to add infoboxes to the list and stuff now, but i've decided once its finished and made live, i'm not going to merge Gabby back, i'm going to completely revamp her article. I've just remembered I started doing it last year offline and there was loads of references and I want to make it brilliant as she did feature in stories heavily reported on etc and if Poppy Meadow can hav an article after appearing in 28 episodes as a supporting character, i'm sure Gabby can have her own article, she was a regular, had storylines and info about paul marquess rejuvenation and appearing in more episodes than Poppy etc. Is that okay?--AcidBrights (talk) 14:55, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
He's dead now, which is a massive shame. I'm slightly mad at myself for not creating an article for him before he went. I guess I can relax a bit and improve it. Ah, I see the edit summary was removed. I'll tweet you in a minute. - JuneGloomTalk20:22, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just starting to scan those early 90s Inside Soaps now, so there might be something for your 1990s H&A characters if they stayed around for three years or more. - JuneGloomTalk00:09, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I was wondering would you be okay to scan me any articles form the soap magazines on The Sharpes, basically anything and everything about them including Paul Marquess' interviews talking about them? I know its alot but I'm keen to get back to improving them and the articles should be between March 2010-December 2010?--AcidBrights (talk) 10:31, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't got that many issues of IS from 2010, as I was still throwing most away!! The ones I have, well they are of no use for Gabby. I did find the one with Paul Marquess in the other day though. Please could you help with Freya's storyline section though?Rainthe 121:42, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey thanks thats interview would be great. Of course I will help with Freya although she has not done much, they've just been bedding her in, Doctors build their charaCTERS quite slowly shes been mostly involved in 'Story of the day' plots.--AcidBrights (talk) 11:23, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
H&A 1990 characters
Want/Need a hand? If not, I'll leave it to your capable hands. Last thing I wanna do is tread on any toes. Conquistador2k6 23:31 17 February 2012 (UTC)
I was thinking I could get the ball rolling on Haydn, Maybe stick Michael in there too. A few other minor guesties from then, and maybe patch in Grant. I decided to err on the side of caution and ask you up front instead of invading your userspace. Conquistador2k6 23:41 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Just finished Haydn with the limited material I had. I'll probably move on to some of the more minor characters. I might see if I can get Karen done tomorrow. Conquistador2k6 01:10 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, Rain. Went to bed. Was knackered. I'll start Kim today. Conquistador2k6 09:19 18 February 2012 (UTC)
FYI, She's done. She was only in a handful of eps but obviously made in enough of an impression. 10:02 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Simpson first appeared in late '88 played by George Leppard when Bobby and Frank visited him in jail to invite him to their wedding and he disclosed the fact he wasn't Bobby's biolgical father (leading the the massive Don/Bobby/Morag reveal in early '89). Maybe when we do the '88 page we can add him there.
I've been reading the Summaries on Backtothebay.net, They're pretty accurate with the eps.
Conquistador2k6 00:14 19 February 2012 (UTC)
The IMDB info was a cockeyed error. It'll be rectified soon enough (Thanks to yours truly). If you notice on that site the preceeding and succeding eps to Kim's appearence aired in November that year. Conquistador2k6 00:23 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Further reading suggests that Kim DID appear in November that Year as Sep 8th that year was a Saturday and H&A has never aired on a weekend in Oz. Conquistador2k6 00:23 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Coughed up everything I could for Mullet. Additional Karen/Belinda content is scarcer than an Arsenal trophy win, though. Is Anything else in Books/Annuals/etc by Kesta? Conquistador2k6 17:26 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Grant is pretty much taken care of. JG seems satisfied enough with his article and I'll deal with Blake and stick stories in the List until his main article is ready to go live. Conquistador2k6 18:04 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Ben's our next big hurdle. Is there enough to get him kick-started anytime soon? Conquistador2k6 00:24 21 February 2012 (UTC)
I'll put in the infobox tonight and add the SLs tomorrow. Conquistador2k6 00:29 21 February 2012 (UTC)
Realistically, How long do you think before this page is ready to be born? Conquistador2k6 19:05 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for sending me a message :) I like Hollyoaks, Eastenders Skins and Lady Gaga too :)
And I'm a veggie too! How to I put an info box on my user page?
Reply if you can, thanks

Pippa Ross
I apologise if my edits to this character profile over the last few days have annoyed you in any way. This is not my aim, and neither am I attempting to be disruptive. I am simply trying to build up the character profile to make it clearer and more interesting to a reader.
One edit was to combine the similiar "Casting" and "Recast" sections (no text or content was deleted - all the information was simply moved so that any casting information is under one heading and therefore more straighforward).
The second edit was to add screenshots, which are simply added to illustrate clearly the difference between both actresses playing the part. A similar technique can be seen on other Wikipedia pages - for example
Well apology accepted - but I'd like to remind you that removing casting information which was sourced is certainly not the standard practise around here. I'm not sure what the move Back to the Future Part II has to do with this either -
WP:OTHERSTUFF - If the community is happy with that article using four non free images, then so be it. However, this is not encouraged in general - so I will not be endorsing the usage of any additional images being used on this article. I wouldn't say your edits are annoying me, it just saddens me that editors will blatantly IP hop to get their own road. For in the article, Pippa Ross You, and three different anon users all performed the same edit. Pippa's article has all but been of no interest to anyone, then you and these other IP's all come along on the same day - Which means you basically got away with 3xR. I'm not daft either, you come here to tell me that you removed no text or content - I am more than happy to pull up the diffs proving that you removed content three times in a row.Rainthe 123:47, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply
Thank you for explaining JuneGloom. Raintheone, I am actually saddened that you feel the need to attack me over what were honest mistakes in the process of trying to add to and tidy up an article. The illusion of my "IP Hopping" will likely be because of my forgetting to log in when switching between a home and work computer, but I feel your messages towards me imply that I am purposely trying to "get away" with disruptive behaviour and/or driving a personal vendetta to mess up articles. There is no need to take my mistakes personally, and your messages to me very quickly became unprofessional and scathing in tone. If you look back at our communication over the last few days, you will see that I took onboard all your points - e.g. replacing a "collage" of 4 images with two distinct screenshots. Similarly, since JuneGloom explained the difference between the use of two screenshots in the BTTF2 example and the Pippa article I now understand clearly why two extra screenshots were not necessary in this instance and will not attempt to reinstate them. The merging of "Casting" and "Recasting" sections, however, still needed to be done in my opinion (hence my final edit last night) and I'm glad to see this section has been expanded over the last 24 hours with some brilliant new information - Pippa Fletcher/Ross is such an iconic character and was such a central part of Home and Away, I feel it's only fitting that her profile page should be as informative as possible. Thanks, Gari82 (talk) 16:24, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well actually, you have been a registered user since 2007 - So I partly, assumed that you would know the basics. I did not think that you took onboard the advice about the images - because you readded them again. I just thought you may have been warring because you edited under more than one IP. However, I did not think about something, that sometimes IP adresses can change for any one user. So I am sorry if I seemed unhelpful above. I should have better explained that not only was a montage of four images unsuitable, but the use of four image all together are not needed. I hope you understand why I thought you were disrupting though - as you removed the information about Carol Willesee's casting and clogged up the non free images. I guess that you are quite new to this then - If you need help, I'm more than happy to lend a hand. You seem genuine in your response so I'm more than happy to turn over the page. Have a nice afternoon. :)Rainthe 117:05, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
H&A Peter Baker
Sorry to bother you but you edit H&A articles right? Could you tell me how notable Peter Baker is, played by
Oh, Okay, I can see what I can do, June, I dont mean to nitpick, but im rather confused about the H&A template, the character list parts on the template confuse me.
I have never looked for Peter, but I'd imagine so - He had big storylines. The list is just a list of all characters, but obviously you can view the past ones in it. Not our doing though.Rainthe 119:10, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Nope, there's no mistake. The past character list got redirected to List of Home and Away characters, which does contain both past and present regular characters (it should really be the title of the current character list). Things became a bit jumbled due to a few AfDs that took place. There used to be a lot of unnecessary H&A lists for all sorts of things, when only three were/are needed. A discussion to sort them out should probably take place, but improving and saving the character articles is more important at the moment. - JuneGloomTalk19:19, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didnt explain myself then, what I mean is when you go on the template,
I don't know about Peter as I didn't watch H&A then, but Rain said he had some big storylines. It's just a matter of finding the sources to back them up. - JuneGloomTalk20:26, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I only compared JMRH6 and Nocrowx with each other. The pending examination of a connection with them to Bankhallbretherton and Bankhall by a patrolling admin or clerk will have to be done on a behavioural basis, because CheckUser data is not stored indefinitely. WilliamH (talk) 17:24, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see you've been working the Vampire shift on Frank good job so far. Although, I'm pretty sure Tom and Pippa didn't adopt him (the only one they bothered to do that with was Sal). Also what do you have in mind for our next collab? We pretty much double teamed the 1990 list and I think it's pretty much done and dusted, more or less everyone of significance has been added. Conquistador2k6 11:32 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Count Rain's awake from his slumber then, is he? lol. That's the thing; stuff NEVER turns up when you need it. Considering Coard was a major fixture in the series for the 1st half of that decade it's criminal nothing surfaced earlier. BTW, That photo of him looks like he could easily be a Bond villain lol (People do age I guess). Belinda/Karen stuff is still pretty much Scotch mist. Combed the fairfax/age thing, and to quote the Spaceballs combing the Desert scene: "We ain't found shit!".
Frank was basically an office assistant ala Roo and Martin (who got demoted to driver). I suppose perfection's understandable as our little list is not quite the definite product. Somebody had to factor in the "lesser life forms", Rewatched a few eps from then to get some info. Conquistador2k6 14:41 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Richard Jasek
Hello!
Right, I've created a page for Richard Jasek in userspace, couldn't find anything for him here on Wikipedia so far - couldn't quite believe it!
Do you have sources for Blue Heelers and Home and Away - or is that backed up by the book source? If not that I'll add some. :)Rainthe 100:16, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is okay, I did wonder though. I just had to redo that Reception info for Kate Mitchell btw, Digital Spy's Millar must have been in a rush because she actually implied that EastEnders is known world wide, rather than her character. So I'd always say - if possible - go with the original interview.Rainthe 121:45, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
