Insider trading
Sorry, didn't mean to accuse you of spamming, but that page has been getting a lot of it from companies marketing stuff. Instead, I put a link to the Form 4s and Form 5s on the SEC's webpage, which has all the formal disclosures of trading by insiders. Also, as you know, the insider trading page is really focused on illegal insider trading: noting insider trade disclosures doesn't really illuminate the issue. Speedy deletion nomination of International businesspeople
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —Largo Plazo (talk) 17:09, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
US Cyber
Hey, thanks for your input on the US Cyber Command article. I've reviewed your blog, very informative. I want to thank you for that. It gathers together a lot of information I didn't have before. I had no idea Alexander was up for promotion. I have been able to add a significant amount of information to the article. Sephiroth storm (talk) 01:05, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM)/9th Army Signal Command
Hey,
- Which part? I adopted some of the article from the 972nd Signal Battalion article. I wrote some of it. I adopted a couple of NETCOM documents for the rest which is public domain. The command insignia came off the now defunct netcom web site. Rbcwa (talk) 14:30, 12 January 2010 (UTC)]
- Just looking at the history, a lot of it looks like it was taken directly from a website, not saying it was, just it looks that way. Sephiroth storm (talk) 16:46, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
- Most of it came from the old NETCOM web site, adopted by me to some degree. Government works are public domain. I also cite the web site as a reference. I'll take a look at the WP:Copyvio article and look for the non-compliant parts. I probably won't have time till the weekend though. Rbcwa (talk) 05:19, 13 January 2010 (UTC)]
- Hmm, you are correct about the public domain part... I still think it sounds a little too copy and paste, personally, I would include less of the history, but I don't think much other information is publicly available on the command. Sephiroth storm (talk) 05:38, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- The history part could stand some aggressive summarization. Perhaps I can trim it down and rewrite it at the same time. Rbcwa (talk) 06:05, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I cut back and rewrote the history some. I think more could be trimmed, a task for later. Rbcwa (talk) 02:24, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
- Looks better. Sephiroth storm (talk) 03:51, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

File source problem with File:2010-05-14-USCYBERCOM Logo.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:2010-05-14-USCYBERCOM Logo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Replaceable fair use File:EVNautilus.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:EVNautilus.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our

File permission problem with File:EV Nautilus.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:EV Nautilus.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on
Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Rbcwa, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Mississippi Military Department has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 17:42, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
