Welcome!!!

Sorry about the dustup earlier regarding some of your student's assignments; this is not the first time I have seen such troubles, indeed many teachers use Wikipedia editing as part of their instruction. It can be a wonderful tool in teaching research and writing when done properly. I should thank you for the note you left regarding this at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents (called ANI locally). Please do not take the comments left by some of the detractors there to heart; many editors are quite protective of Wikipedia. One thing you may want to do in the future is to coordinate your class assignments through Wikipedia:School and university projects, there are LOTS of great resources availible to teachers and professors, and the group Wikipedia:Online Ambassadors/Mentors are availible to help people such as yourself incorporate Wikipedia into classroom instruction and evaluation. If you have any questions, you can also ask me at my usertalk page, User talk:Jayron32. Good luck! --Jayron32 13:50, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
