Chiro (SRMTHFG!)

A tag has been placed on

section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://goanimate-v1.fandom.com/wiki/Chiro. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing
.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by

visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. About your recent edits

First of all, if you keep uploading copyrighted media to Commons you'll probably get banned from there. But that's not a Wikipedia issue.

Now, you've been trying to add a character image from

. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable for two reasons:

  1. Images in articles in general, but non-free images especially as per policy (
    WP:NFCC
), must enhance significant discussion of the subject in the article. But right now, the only mention of the show at all is a single sentence, which is not nearly enough. What is even worse is that this sentence is entirely unsourced, which means it could easily be removed by any editor. To have an image for that show in the article with a legitimate purpose, you must find reliable sourcing that discusses not just the show itself, but also specifically its alleged anime-influenced style. Then you must write at least a full paragraph with the relevant citations.
  2. The images you've been uploading are of a single character. SRMTHFG characters are almost certainly not independently notable because the show received extremely limited coverage in reliable sources (it was quite unpopular unfortunately), so it is basically impossible to find sufficiently in-depth coverage for specific characters. But this primarily concerns standalone articles; for a general article like this one, even if the character were notable as with some popular series, the article should have images of multiple characters only. NFCC limits the number of non-free images any article can have, and per
    WP:NPOV
showing only a single character as a style example is quite problematic.

In short, to add an SRMTHFG image to the anime-influenced animation article: (1) you must upload it to Wikipedia (not Commons), (2) it must feature multiple characters (preferably all of the main ones), and more importantly (3) you must first add at least one full, reliably-sourced paragraph specifically discussing the show's style to the article. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that last part is extremely difficult, if not impossible, due to the reliable sourcing requirement and the show's relative unpopularity...
