Merge has gone bad

Hello, some time ago you merged "Automated proof checking" into "Proof assistant" (here), but that article no longer contains or cites any substantive discussion of proof checking. Redirects from "proof checking" and "proof verification" are now dead ends. This is a problem that needs to be fixed!

Question on definition of Term on E-Graphs page

Regarding revision "as of 01:54, 8 February 2023" to the E-Graphs page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-graph

You added, among other things:

"Let be a set of variables and let be the smallest set that includes the 0-arity function symbols (also called constants), includes the variables, and is closed under application of the function symbols. In other words, is the smallest set such that "

I do not understand why in "" you reversed the order of V, \Sigma from the "\Sigma, V" order used elsewhere.

Was that a mistake or on purpose? Greg sullivan (talk) 15:14, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a mistake to me! siddharthist (talk) 15:15, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
