- They both seem reliable enough to me to use on a limited basis. They are both seemingly backed by major news publishers which is a key point in determining reliable sources I do believe. One of them is a newspaper in itself, so all newspapers are supposed to be reliable. Really all of the descriptions you gave before I passed it I agreed they were reliable. The ones after I passed it I have yet to read.--WillC 20:40, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Hurt Locker Plot
Thanks for your lengthy message on my talk page. I had assumed that you were new to Wikipedia based on what seems to be a recent join date. So I had no idea about your previous contributions, as I believe your name was still highlighted in red. Even if I had known about your contributions, I felt that adding a lengthy plot like that while the movie is still in theaters is pretty much a bummer. I realize that Wikipedia allows spoilers, but it felt as if the Hurt Locker page was being attacked by a band of people intent on making negative contributions to try to thwart potential audience members from seeing the film. It is a low budget independent film, and that is something that is almost extinct. It depends on good word of mouth, and while I'm not making contributions to market the movie, people do look for accurate information here and I am intent on helping to provide that.
I'm also aware, because of your join date, that there is a high possibility that you are an "alternative account" perhaps one that belongs to one or two of the people who have already participated in the conversation. So you see my stance on this and where I was coming from. These people had reverted all of my recent contributions and one of them has been hounding me on this page for over a year, reverting nearly everything. You can see how many sources I've cited. That's a big reason why! Anyway, I went back and looked at

You're a sock too?
Wow - there almost enough socks to keep a basketball team happy, at least if you believe Inurhead. Sorry to see you get slapped with that too. It wasn't worth me dealing with more of his crap, and with you and Erik actively working on the article, it was a good time to step away. Good luck handling him!

The
Kyle Broflovski diabetic
Hey, although I wasnt signed in, I was the one that added that sentence to the Kyle Broflovski page, about him being a diabetic. I have just watched the 'Cherokee Hair Tampons' episode from season 4. It IS mentioned that 'Kyle has always been a diabetic'. Please watch the episode on southparkstudios.com if you don't think this is true. I'd appreciate it if you could add this fact into the article as I feel that it is important to put in about him. He's a fictional character obviously, so it isn't a huge deal I suppose. But I still feel it is relevant. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Firebomb 87 (talk • contribs) 08:52, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Medicinal Fried Chicken
Hey SoSaysChappy,
Thank you for your message regarding Medicinal Fried Chicken. I feel that your comments, and edits with respect to the capitalization, and italicization of the re-branded name for KFC at the end of the episode (i.e. Medicinal Fried Chicken) confuse the reason for the capitalization, and italicization. Capitalization is necessary as Medicinal Fried Chicken is the actual name to which the franchise is changed at the close of the episode (i.e. it is used as the name of the franchise, not as a generic term). Indeed, for greater accuracy, it should actually be rendered as MEDICINAL FRIED CHICKEN, as this is how the name is rendered on the exterior of the building in the episode, however, my fear was that total capitalization might confuse readers. The purpose of the italicization is simply to highlight the name change to the reader. Another means of doing this would be to avoid italicization, and use parentheses instead.
I hope that this clarifies the situation, and the nature of my edits.
Thanks. CrimeCentral (talk) 12:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

"200" and "201"
Hey SoSaysChappy! I'm planning on nominating 200 (South Park) and 201 (South Park) for GAN in the next couple days, (I was actually going to do so yesterday or today, but I wanted to give it a few more days now to see if this Times Square thing produces anything more.) and I was planning on listing you as a co-nom, since you've been helping out and contributing so much with this (and other) South Park articles. Let me know if you have any kind of strong objection.
- Also, just to warn you, I will be going on an extended trip starting this upcoming Saturday and will be gone for about a month. I will have limited Internet access and will be checking in on Wikipedia from time to time, but my contributions will be largely to check on any outstanding reviews. That means I might not be as quick as I would be, so I wanted to warn you in case we do co-nominate it. Would that be a problem? — Hunter Kahn 12:35, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Good work to you as well! I'll probably nominate it in a day or two. Even though we will both have other things going on, between the two of us I'm sure we will be able to address any and all objections that might arise. — Hunter Kahn 18:59, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
