Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Abortion in Canada, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Textless articles

Hi! While taxoboxes are extremely useful in articles, they don't take the place of content. Please refrain from creating articles consisting solely of a taxobox. Thanks. --

Proposed deletion of Get Down (B4-4 song)

The article Get Down (B4-4 song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

To meet the
general notability guidelines
.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{

dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page
.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{

dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Chzz  ►  22:15, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:SmallCorey.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:SmallCorey.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

Thanks for uploading File:Treble Charger American Psycho.jpg.

Fair use rationale for File:Spes Unica.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to

fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale
.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Just write below my comment here what the sources are. You need to show that you can provide a source for these images before we can trust you to upload any further images. If you cannot do that, then you can end up causing a lot of problems and licensing trouble for the Wikimedia Foundation itself (Wikipedia's parent organization). Sources on images again

I very close to blocking you again for not providing sources for many of the images you uploaded since I unblocked you. I have to tell you that we normally do not allow non-free images (i.e. images under copyright from other entities and websites) of living people on Wikipedia per criterion #1 of our

non-free content policy, which, in a nutshell, states that you cannot use a non-free image if there is no possibility that a free content
image (i.e. one that is not under copyright, such as an image taken by an amateur) can be obtained. Obviously, since they're alive, anyone would be able to take a picture and license them properly under the correct license. Pretty much all of them are going to be deleted for that reason.

The reason I will not reblock you is because I do not think you were aware of that policy, and so it would be unfair of me to do so. However, you may want to try looking for free images of those sports athletes on

Creative Commons Sharealike 3.0 License. Hope this helps, MuZemike 06:48, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sid_Smith_lacrosse.jpg.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

Reblocked

You were blocked on 9 October for "repeated violations of the image upload policy". Since then you have uploaded multiple images taken from various copyrighted sources marking them as "Creative Commons 3.0" This is a clear violation of the image upload policy - therefore the indef block has been restored.
