Red red links make me feel so fine...
Greetings
Robert C. Belloni
Hi Tesscass. There's no need to hoard your Robert C. Belloni article—it's a fine stub as is. There is plenty of context and gives notability, so anyone would know what the subject is, and therefore could expand it. —EncMstr (talk) 18:25, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to hoard it. I just wasn't quite done. But I'll put in on the "real" page now. --Tesscass (talk) 18:29, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi Tess! (May I call you Tess?) Thanks for fixing that typo I put in the article you started. Check out my friend's blog post about the architect Walter Pugh--he linked to the article! http://capitaltaps.blogspot.com/2009/03/lost-towers-of-walter-d-pugh.html He hadn't even heard of Pugh until he met me and now look at him! Ostensibly his blog is about beer, but it's really an excuse to write about local history so it doesn't matter that there doesn't seem to be any connection between Pugh and beer! Cheers!

(William) Eric Russell
Since the cricketer was always known as Eric Russell, just as Michael Colin Cowdrey was always known as Colin Cowdrey, I'm wondering why you thought it was desirable to move the article? Surely it would have been better to leave the article where it was, perhaps creating a redirect from his full name? JH (talk page) 20:47, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- I feel that Eric Frank Russell is more notable as Eric Russell and was in the process of make the latter a dab page. However, I'm not totally committed to this and if you have a more compelling reason, feel free to correct it as you see fit. --Tesscass (talk) 20:56, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- OK, now I see your reasoning, though I think that Eric Frank Russell was always known by his full name. However I'd prefer "Eric Russell (cricketer)" for the cricketer. I'm about to go to bed, so will make that change tomorrow if you haven't already done so by then. JH (talk page) 21:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

A rough draft is at Wikipedia:Suggestions for disambiguation repair/A1. What do you think? What could make it more useful? Thanks, – Quadell (talk) 22:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Bob Welch shout-out on the Coburg Hills article
On Bob Welch's blog today, he notes the nice inclusion of the Hayworth Saddle on Coburg Hills. He then writes "Who does such things? I haven’t a clue," so of course I immediately popped over to the article to check. Just thought you might want to see the mention, and possibly take some credit :). Hi Tesscass, Could you please have a look at the U.S. Route 20 in Oregon page? I added an image to the Route Description section but it shows up in the wrong place, and there are other formatting issues. I can't see a problem in the page coding, but there must be a glitch somewhere. thanks,

Hello
Now that pleasantries have been exchanged, thank you to those who worked on the last two collaborations, the Semi-annual Great Oregon Picture Drive, and Oregon Country Fair and Geoff Petrie. For this edition of the COTW we have Gambling in Oregon and NRHP in Washington County. The hope for the later is to fill in the last few images (5) and then see if we can make it the first NRHP list in Oregon with an article for every entry (need 27). As always, click here to opt out of these messages, or click here to make a suggestion for a future COTW. Aboutmovies (talk) 09:04, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
