Ravenna Park

Hi there, The content you uploaded for

Ravenna Park (Seattle)
was copyrighted text from a couple of City of Seattle Web sites, so I removed it and replaced it with some stub text. -Lukobe 05:03, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a look at the links I added to

Copyright problems with
Root wall

Root wall
has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you. JNW (talk) 02:14, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Root wall

We appreciate your interest in the

Root wall article but, for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text borrowed from other web sites ( http://www.greenbeltconsulting.com/ctp/therootwall.html
) and as a consequence, the article has been deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." Please be aware that it is not sufficient for the material to be "available for use by non-profit organizations and public education" because Wikipedia is also redistributed for profit.

You might want to look at

Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. Regards, FreplySpang 02:17, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply

File permission problem with File:Minimum-Solar-Box-Cooker.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Minimum-Solar-Box-Cooker.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at

for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Calliopejen1 (talk) 07:50, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification

Hi. In Ralph W. Moss (writer), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Equinox Publishing (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Tom, I see that you denied proposed deletion on the article you created. I still don't think it meets
our criteria for inclusion. I can't seem to find anything that amounts to significant coverage in independent sources that have editorial control. Therefor I have opened a wider discussion on the subject. You are welcome to contribute to the discussion. Keep in mind however that, opposed to proposed deletion, where any editor can remove the tag to deny the deletion, this does not go for the community discussion. SCInet problems

Hi Tom:

For a while now, there have been problems with SCInet. For exampe, the editor won't load. Graphics are missing, e.g. from the Parabolic Solar Reflectors page. The list of recent changes does not appear, etc. I have tried to notify you there about this, but since I can't load the editor, I haven't neen able to do so.

Can you do anything to fix it?
