Furthermore, you stated "This is not spam, but a non-commercial, all-volunteer site of free recordings of public-domain works. Check it out for yourself and I'm sure you'll like it!" I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but you can still "spam" non-commercial links according to wikipedia guidelines. The primary point being, wikipedia is wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a link directory. We have specific guidelines on how links are used. On top of that, it is discouraged to editing wikipedia for the sole purpose of adding links to external sites., Please stop.-Andrew c [talk] 18:34, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please be more careful next time you consider replacing a 'u' by a 'y', as you did in Ousia and Pythagoras. It is a scholarly standard: the proper transliteration of the Ancient Greek 'υ' is 'u'. Also note that transliteration is not the same as transcription or latinization. --Omnipaedista (talk) 00:15, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification

Hi. In Gaisford Prize, you recently added links to the disambiguation pages Diogenes and Merope (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
