- Dear Ryūlóng, Sorry I think I also welcomed slang user names which are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Sorry for that. I will make sure that same will not repeated in furture. --Umapathy (உமாபதி) 10:20, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Regarding your Images
I feel nothing wrong in your images. Please expand them to all the districts of North and East provinces of Sri Lanka in the English Wikipedia not limiting yourself to Vavuniya. As I'm not concentrating on tamil Wikipedia you may follow the same pattern of the English Wikipedia in the Tamil Wikipedia too.
If you want to add your Images to all the districts of Sri Lanka then you have to consult other sinhala wikipedians. As you have used the same colour for each province, my oppinion is you may use different colours to every district by separating the provinces by clear margines.
I think Tamil Wikipedia has covered much more in Sri Lankan and tamil related topics. Have a nice editing! Thanks. Yugayuga 03:48, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Interwiki link on AVG Anti-Virus
Hi there. You added a Tamil interwiki link to AVG Anti-Virus, but the article doesn't seem to exist. Is there a typo, or has the article been deleted? --TheParanoidOne 14:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
HiTheParanoidOneplease don't delete the link I am on the process of creating the article. Please have a look at 3-4 hours later. --Umapathy (உமாபதி) 15:12, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Districts of Sri Lanka
Your districts image looks great - much better than the drab one I had up there. It makes a nice overall view for the breakout images I did... :) Rarelibra 17:58, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka
Dear Umapathy,
Thank you for your contributions to the Wikimedia Projects. As an editor from Sri Lanka, you are warmly invited to join the official Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka and to subscribe to its mailing list, Wikimedia-LK. The user group currently includes volunteers from Wikipedia and other projects, from the English, Sinhala, and Tamil speaking communities. It is the Wikimedia-approved platform for editors from Sri Lanka to enable wider collaboration, for both online and offline projects. With your support, we hope to organize cross-project content improvement drives as part of online projects, as well as organize in-person edit-a-thons, training sessions, photowalks, and other such activities, in the near future. The ultimate goal(s) of these initiatives is to improve the overall coverage and quality of topics relating to Sri Lanka, as well as encourage new editors to join the Wikimedia community, while simultaneously empowering and retaining our existing team of editors. There are no mandatory obligations for members who choose join the community, other than the usual editing rules for online projects, and the friendly space policy for in-person projects. You may also (or instead) subscribe to the mailing list, where any member could initiate discussions with volunteers across projects, notify members of events and meetings, stay up to date with competitions, organize your own events, and so on. See you on board, and Happy Editing! | |

Wikiproject United Nations: We need you!
Dear Umapathy, I noticed your name was under the participants' list of WikiProject United Nations. I wanted to invite you to contribute to the advancement of this project. Here's how you can do so: 1. Select the latest CC BY SA publications for which no articles have been created yet available here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_United_Nations/Open_Access_text/Education_publications 2. Follow the instructions available here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Adding_open_license_text_to_Wikipedia 3. Add the text to Wikipedia (either by creating new articles or adding content to existing ones). Since these are available under CC BY SA, you can copy/paste content and/or edit if need be. 4. Attribute the text using the 'Free-content attribution' template in the 'Sources' section. 5. Add your contribution in the table here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_United_Nations/Open_Access_text/Education_publications Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Looking forward to working with you on enriching Wikipedia, one article at a time:)! C.recalde — Preceding unsigned comment added by C.recalde (talk • contribs) 15:27, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
